TFTC. Water has gotten into the cache and destroyed the log so couldn’t sign it.
Cache in very poor condition. TFTC. Found with GSP liver. Even bought a new rain coat for the occasion:)
Found today. Nice spot, not too difficult. Couldn’t record on log as it’s waterlogged
Out with B12 & C10 on a sunny winter's day, collecting 51 smiles & 4 frowns.
Thank you buttoncrazy

Out for a day of caching around Darlington, Mundaring and the surrounding areas to cleanup the huge number of caches around these parts that have evaded us for a while.
A lot of bush caching today with some nice finds through John Forrest National Park, which I’ve always wanted to explore, but never got around to. The highlight of the walk apart from some great caches, informative signs along the trail, beautiful bridges, nice trails and great scenery was a walk through the Swan View Tunnel, which was absolutely awesome.
The other major walk of the day was around the Boya Quarry which is simply amazing for people that have never visited (I know many attended dark energy’s event out this way when his earth caches were still active in the quarry) beautiful views in particular from the top of the quarry and looking up the beautiful cliffs throughout the area.
We collected a bunch of other caches around the dam in JFNP, central Mundaring, and the Boya areas.
An amazing day out that finishes finding two old archived caches that have seen better days but would have been amazing to have seen in their heyday.
Thanks to all of the local COs for a great days caching, we had lots of fun. Thanks

Nice hide. Log needed as old one is full. Sorry but we didn,’t have our spares with us on this hike. Had a nice uphill hike to this cache from the car park and on arrival, muggle husband pointed out that we could have taken an easier and more direct route across the dam wall ( dam not dam as we were kicking ourselves) needed the hint as this cache was smaller than we had anticipated. Tftc, buttoncrazy. Great location for cache.
Had the chance to meet up with our dear friends from Canberra , the 2 N's. Decided to tackle a few caches in the Nationalpark before having a nice lunch together. The cache was found after a short search. tftc sl tnln
Wandered up from the main parking area to have a look for this cache. Didn't spot it at first but a more thorough search soon found it. Log is in a pretty bad way having been soaked through at some point. TFTC,
Great place for a cache. Cache is no longer water proof and logs have been very wet and stuck together. They have dried out so we signed the outside of it but do need replacing tftc
Found this cache but the log was absolutely drenched and needs a better container.
Couldnt sign log.

Made a quick find thanks to the hint. Log is unusable (refer photo). My mum has some photos of picnics she attended here at the dam in the 60's when presumably the water wasn't off limits. TFTC buttoncrazy.

Nice easy find on a gorgeous walk around Glen Brook Dam.
We didn't sign the log as it has suffered with the recent rains and was soaked through.

Tftc first find of the new financial year. GPS was out a bit but the hint helped
Found with the crazies, beautiful spot....good thing us shorties brought tall people hehe
Great little hide! I didn't write in it because I was too afraid to unravel the paper, it looks like it will fall apart!
Cache had certainly heated up in the sun today! Nearly got a nasty burn lol. TFTC
After dropping our geo-hubby's off along the rail trail, Mrs iluvtrekking and I headed to the dam to grab a couple of caches. The dam area was very popular when we arrived to find no car space available and we were waved on by the Ranger to the larger end car park. So instead of a quick walk over the end of the dam to gz we now had a trek of 400 mts to get to gz. It was a lovely walk and cache was found exactly where we expected. However the container is unsuitable for the location and is starting to rust so will need attention . Thanks buttoncrazy
Mrs richlink and I were waved on by the ranger as the nearby car park was full so we ended up parking some 400m from GZ. The cache was found without drama but unfortunately the cache container is beginning to rust and the lid is resisting opening so will be in need of maintenance in the near future. Thanks buttoncrazy the weather was perfect and we enjoyed our bush walk.
TFTC! GPS kept sending us all over the place. Managed to figure out the location and then noticed there was a hint, which confirmed our thoughts
Despite some sketchy weather, I rode some of the Heritage Trail Loop, before backtracking to ride the winding Park Rd and eventually finding a track that stretched my MTBing lack of skill and lead me back to the Heritage Trail Loop. I rode over the dam wall to log a quick find here. Thank you buttoncrazy.
I paid my $12 to find two caches but it was worth it. Down the road was a maggle of muggles, while Glen Brook was calm and peaceful (apart from two ducks on the lake). A quick find here and a nice walk along the dam wall. TFTC!
Last one found in the park before going home for the day. The cache was found in the most obvious location, signed the log and returned as found. Thanks for the cache.
4th person to look in the same place found it! A fantastic place for a day out.
This cache had us looking for ages, in what we thought was a good spot. Nothing! I looked further afield but nothing matched the hint better than where we were searching, so we continued. Finally, megawat60 made the find of a signed log, all by itself under some natural cover. So we signed it.... and replaced it where found, but in little baggie and a container to match the description, which I happened to have in my handbag.
TFTC buttoncrazy, and bringing us to the great spot for our first time!
TFTC buttoncrazy, and bringing us to the great spot for our first time!
We were nearly going to dnf this one as we had no joy at all finding the described item in the logical place, m4yb went to look further afield and left me a Geotool to probe around and I located the log in the correct position. Telling this to m4yb she fortunately had a similar container spare, so we replaced the log in this new container and enjoyed the walk back to the car and then for a lovely picnic morning tea.
Thanks buttoncrazy for this cache and getting us out to this area.

Spotted the hiding place as I approached , but my GPSr insisted it was a further 10m I ignored the spot only to come back a few minutes later for a quick find

The last one for this morning before heading to work, and it was a quick and easy find here. A nice area that I've cycled through many times.
Thanks for the cache buttoncrazy!

Headed up to John Forrest National Park today hoping to do PaddyK's Dragon Gate cache (GCVKM3). Parked at the top of Morrison Road and walked in from there. After a bit of disappointment at GCVKM3, I decided to do some of the other caches in the park ...
Arrived at this one after doing the nearby Mystery cache (GC15Y51) ... did a bit of bush-bashing on the way, then got back on track and skirted the dam on the left bank. Quickly identified the hiding spot when I arrived at GZ and made the grab.
Signed the log. Thanks for the hide buttoncrazy
Might catch up with you at the 'WA Goes BIG in 2015' event in Busselton later this year (GC5GR5X)

Found the lid and signed the makeshift log. I nearly burned my hand cause the tin got bloody hot. TFTC.
Was in the area checking on one of my caches so stopped off here for a quick find once at GZ.
Nice walk over the dam wall on a quiet morning. TFTC.
