This has not been seen for five months. The bridge in question as several newish planks and the process of the repair quite likely exposed the cache to view. Despite requests for maintainance the CO seems to have lost interest and this is a lovely spot to bring people to find an actual cache.
Road trip. Got together with mogni, her bro and his kids (DAP) for a quick trip over the border to Werribee for an attempt at the infamous Eagle Rock cache. We spent 2 1/2 hours all up at Eagle Rock for a DNF. So of course we just had to do a few others as well.
Oh no another DNF. But then again we don't seem to be the only ones and with such a specific clue I doubt the cache is there..

Third of five DNF's on the run!
We accessed the hint and then we looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out! Based on previous logs perhaps there is nothing to be found!
Satellites today had the GZ 15m SW of where the hint put us.
Thanks anyway to CupCakeDuo for bringing us to this location.

Five DNF logs since 25/9 suggests it is about time the CO checked on this one to ensure it is still there.
Also, it is classified as a Traditional cache (container at published co-ords), but the GZ is some 15m from where the hint suggest the cache is actually located.

Bettyboo3747 and I jumped into the geo-chariot and went down to Altona and Hoppers for a few local caches.
Well, I guess we are not Beginners, so no luck for us here today.
Thanks, Robmc.

Thanks, Robmc.
We came, we searched, we did not conquer. Obviously we are not looking with beginners' eyes.
Started off a bit average waiting to get to spot indicated in the hint - held back geopup to let a pram come through, only to be thanked repeatedly by some pretty persistent ants. It all went downhill from there - searched and searched and only found a broken plastic cup. Hope we were just having a bad day and it hasn't been muggled.
Nice easy find. Great little spot along the river. Co-ordinates off, but clue def helped. TFTC. Took a polished rock, left a polished rock.
Prefer 187/175. Checked a few spots before in hand. Lovely little spot, worth the walk. T4TC
Day 4 Melbourne our last day..
We found a really good variety of caches in some great locations.
Left a TB here to continue its journey.
Thanks for placing this cache CupCakeDuo

Found our first one thanks so much!
Lots of fitness muggles around so had to move quickly, signed the logbook - didn't take anything, didn't leave anything

Had our own little geocaching family event when we found this one. Smurfy_CH got to it first. Found while caching with Smurfy_CH & Dustieann
We were in the area today to get a bit of fresh air, a few walks, views and geocaches.
The coordinates were sending us to a different area, but a quick read helped us narrow down the options for GZ.
Took the Jeep TB to move it on. Left the decoy cache container that we found nearby. Did not see the other Traveller.

Hi there CupCakeDuo. We found your cache "Beginners Luck" at 11:21:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 10409.
[Blue]
We thoroughly enjoyed our "stroll" around the path here today.
Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. For over ten years we have watched the quality of caches get steadily worse and worse. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 9m NE from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Grabbed Trackable: "Travel Flower Geocoin."
Dropped Trackable: "Three Sisters Peaks (CO)" Green Jeep Travel Bug
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Found it! THANKGOD JLA269 knew how to property count. Put in Green Lizard and a Owl Key Decorator. Took nothing. Well hidden cache!
The coords seemed a little out but the hint is exactly where the cache is. I found it in good condition so the "Needs Maintenance" can be removed. No trackables were found in the cache though. It seems I don't do much caching during summer so to get my terrible stats up for January I decided to come out here and find this one. Thanks CupCakeDuo.
DNF however found Anzac biscuit recipe near foot bridge and also pen with green cap near second foot bridge. May have been located by a muggle and taken apart. Please look into this. Cheers
With only three days remaining in the year and aiming to average three cache finds per day for the year, a trip out of town (Geelong) was necessary to push the numbers up a little. So, with the weather fast closing in, the wind rising and the rain threatening, I grabbed Geohubby and headed up the road.
By the time we arrived, the wind was blowing a gale, the sky looked like it was about to burst on us and we were under the pump. I followed the GPSr which had me at a tree in the creek so after a quick glance at the hint, we adjusted our position and Geohubby eventually made the find 10m from where the GPSr said we should be.
Thanks CupCakeDuo !

This was my 4th find of the evening.
With tarbear22 & her Geo-puppy.
In the area to do some caching and go looking for Christmas lights.
Cheers & T.F.T.C =]

First cache of the day and with the GPS pointing to middle of the dry pond, we resorted to the hint to narrow down the search area. The excellent hint had us checking two locations and the 2nd had the cache.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks CupCakeDue for this cache along these (dry) wetlands.

Out for some Geocaches to break my streak of about 6 weeks without looking for one. Picked a rainy, cold arvo to do it, but was out anyway so decided to give it a go. At first I was a bit unsure where this one was, but then noticed a lot of trampled bushes nearby and that helped pinpoint its location. Nearly got sprung while signing the log book too (thankfully I had moved off the track so they couldn't see what I was doing). A nice spot for a walk so off I go to look for some more.
After the coords seemed to be out a bit at the last cache, I thought that they were too at this one, only to suddenly realise that it was me at totally the wrong spot! [B)] Once I was at the right spot it was an easy find at a nice location, thanks CupCakeDuo.
Hence the name - took the opportunity today to show the ropes of Geocaching to a friend today who took to our wonderful game like a duck to water - tftc
