This was to be the last of the day, but it’s a DNF for us. We had the place to ourselves so gave it a good looking over for a good 15 minutes. We will return if we can.
We left this one the day before as we'd left the car in the other direction and were getting to the end of our caching day. This morning after some breakfast and a jolly to Grove Scenic Reserve we headed down to Boyle Street, bummer- a cycle muggle was on the seat and their bike was leaning against the GZ. They glared at us when we walked towards them, I took a photo and that seemed to be enough for them to move on so we could retrieve, log and return before anyone else came along.
A quick find with Tregearp. All in good order. Thanks Juicy Fruits for another cache.
Lovely spot to stop on our bike ride. Dad for the find. Mum took photos... as usual
Thanks for bringing us here Juicy Fruits!

#8522. I am over in the Takaka region on a work trip. After spending a couple of nights in the back country it was time to return to civilisation. After a debriefing of our field trip in the office I had a few hours spare before dinner to go and find some local caches. Parked close by and wandered over to GZ. Checked every spot it was possible to hide a cache or so I thought. But no there was another place I should have seen straightaway but that would ruin all the fun. Cache blind old coot it seems. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Nice and quiet here today. Thanks Juicy Fruits for hiding it here.
It has slightly moved but is still very. LSE to original spot and seems I’ll be hidden from muggles so all good
Oooops, another one I almost forgot to log as it wasn't on the planned list.
Grove, Rawhiti cave and Anatoki for salmon - that was the plan, but after the short but enjoyable walk at Grove Scenic Reserve, we drove up here just out of curiosity. I noticed that there is a cache and because of the title and few other options, I quickly hopped off the car, found signed and replaced. Not sure it was meant to be where I found it though, but as there was no magnet or other option I left as found.

A nice quick find for the first of the day, thanks.
Found as we started to head back over the hill to Nelson. Golden Bay was all damp and a bit drizzly, and the Nelson side fine and sunny!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Well this must be the third time we've come to this one and this time we had got it last couple of visits to the area we have swung past to find muggles always here! Today was different and we had the place to ourselves so made a quick find and very happy to make this cache a smiley . Thanks for the cache.
Unbusy here finally ( we have tried doing this one on several occasions but have always been thwarted by muggles ) so stopped this time and Stretch0 spotted the hide - thanks for the cache log signed
Still have some time before heading home so came out here. Quick find at Boyce St Seat. Cheers..
Its Sunday and we are off to Pupu springs before heading home later today.
Its a long weekend to Takaka, with Collingwood and Farewell Spit in the mix, with Zara Toby and Bullertroutss Bro. So lets go exploring. Visited lots of awesome places. But never enough time. I will be back.

A beautiful place to spend some time, sitting peacefully and contemplating the day. An easy find once there, but well worth the trip to find it
The spot is very deserted today as it’s only about 16° and overcast. But the view is very atmospheric and it’s nice to have somewhere to sit down when you do your logging.
Leapt out of the car, found and signed the cache, sat on the seat and relaxed - all done. TFTC
First of our stay in Golden Bay. Giving the dog a bit of a walk and a pause before heading back to the bach. Thanks for the cache.
Currently introducing my little daughter in Geocaching, staying at Pohara Beach this was a perfect intro-cache for her
Drove up to the seat and made a quick find and sign before heading on our way again. tftc
Recently moved to Golden Bay from the UK, this is my first find in the area. Beautiful views from this spot. TFTC.
This seat was not taken when I arrived today, but it still took a few minutes of searching to lay my hands on the cache.
I saw where it was meant to be, but ended up finding it close by.
Replaced not as originally hidden, but closer by and certainly better than when I found it.
Thanks - a lovely spot to be.

We were here in the morning, stopping for the view and played quiet tiger for two minutes to get the kids to stop talking and listen to the silence... Then my 6 year old and I did a bicycle geocache tour in the afternoon. Perfect cache for a young boy. And we played quiet tiger again!
Quick find while out for a stroll while on a wee break in Pohara. Thanks for the cache
Our vacation or road trip through New Zealand led here.
After a perfect beach walk we looked for some reminders
Thank Juicy Fruits for showing this spot and maintain the cache.

Found with NZDi. After spending the past month or so stuck at home preparing our house for sale, the looming long weekend called for something special. So three nights were booked in a motel in one of our favourite places... Pohara and early on Friday morning we headed across the hills (firstly the Whangamoas and then the Takaka Hill). We didn't get off to a great start being held up slightly with a flat battery... perhaps I should have taken heed of what the AA man said a few weeks ago when he did a call-out to my address for a similar fault and bought a new one. Fortunately I have become self-sufficient in the flat battery rectification stakes and this was rapidly rectified. Knowing that we were going to a few out of the way places on our weekend endeavours and note wanting a similar experience, I purchased a new battery as we went through Nelson (I couldn't do it in Blenheim because we left too early).
The plan for the weekend was to do some caching in the Golden Bay area on Friday and Saturday, celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary on Sunday with a little more caching but some more traditional anniversary activities, and then do some more caching on the way home.
Yesterday's mission was to collect some of the caches in the Canaan Downs area at the top of the Takaka Hill, but that was cut short and we ended up doing some Wainui caches last evening.
Todays mission is to start at Wainui, head out to Separation Point, carry on to Totaranui, then return to Wainui over the Gibbs Hill Track, it turned out to be a nine and a half hour day on the track. After dinner NZDi decided a beach walk was on the cards... who would have thought she had just spent nine and a half hours going up hill and down dale, on the Abel Tasman Coastal Walk. By now the sun was dropping fast, so we decided to make this our last and it was a QEF.

My few days in Golden Bay are drawing to a close; have had a wonderful day up the Cobb Valley and stopped here to enjoy the view & claim this cache on my way back to my accommodation.
Thanks for highlighting this delightful seat with this cache, Juicy Fruits.

I was filling in my time by walking around Pohara finding caches and enjoying the peace and quiet. This was a nice place to sit and admire the snow capped hills, it would be really pretty when the tide is in. Thanks Juicy Fruits for the cache
WE are keen geocachers on holiday from Tauranga and grabbing a few smileys as we go. Great place for a cache and even better the place to ourselves. Had afternoon tea before moving on. TFTC
Score one for GeoMum!! My first find of he holiday. Lovely spot on q lovely day. TFTC
Heading out for a bit of a drive with our friends and we stopped by a few spots: a local gallery, Tata Beach, Wainui and a few other spots. We were driving by rude not to stop. Quick find as the cachelets retrieved the cache for me to sign still in the truck! Luxury!
Thanks for the cache Juicy Fruits.

Got it! It's a very chilled place to sit and watch life slowly menander by:-) TFTC!!
Nice spot for it! Love the estuary - wouldn't even have known it was there if we hadn't been out for a geocache drive around the area. TFTC.
A quick find by car headlights on the way back from finding another cache near the golf course.
Thank you Juicy Fruits.
Thank you Juicy Fruits.
We have to come back here in day light and soak up the view. It was just a cold starry and moonless winter night when we finally got to the bottom of our to-do list. Thank you Juicy Fruits
Wonderful place to stop for lunch. Has to get a favourite for being such a pretty spot. Thanks for placing the cache.
What a lovely peacful spot. Stopped off for a quick stop and grab after a round of golf. Tftc
Found while on our exploration of Golden Bay and Takaka while holidaying in Nelson Bays. We just love this place.
It's the last full day of our holiday and we're just a few finds away from our 400th so we set off determinedly from Pohara. We didn't have to go very far before finding another Juicy Fruits gem.
A peaceful spot that we might have enjoyed more if the freedom-camper wasn't parked right in front of the location. We had to be very discreet. Senior admired the view while Junior did the business. TFTC

Stopped here to log the cache. But it was such a nice view that we desided to sit here for a while. Tftc!
