I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, Lumpyjrb, requesting additional time.
An ample opportunity has been provided for the Cache Owner to respond, but since this opportunity has been ignored, I can only conclude that the cache has been abandoned.

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Investigate the situation and either restore the cache, or address any other issues, such as correcting the D/T rating if necessary.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done, and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary, or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this, that is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by Lumpyjrb and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is there, and in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Far out, searched and searched for this one as well but no dice. 0/2, Mataranka is not my town for caching!
No luck here for me today, although the crowded carpark and number of people about didn't make it easy to have a good look. Thanks anyway Lumpyjrb - its a great spot to visit.
Wasn’t able to look today, as the BBQ area is barricaded and workers are in there refurbishing the whole BBQ area. A good excuse to come back another time. We did however have a beautiful swim in the pools.
Didn’t give it enough time, especially when told coordinates a bit out. Thanks anyway. Home to Darwin now.
Finally. This was a DNF many years ago, but this time it couldn't hide from us... (had to enlist the help of the geoteens to come up the goods though). GPS quite out - picture in previous logs helped
Thank you Lumpys - it was a joy chasing your caches again
Didn't sign the log as we didn't bring a writing stick.

Nice easy find.
Only 3 Muggles in the area and all heading to the water.
Quickly extracted the log and did the business and off I went for a swim of my own.
Visited 3 TB.

This past week I have been working in Katherine and I thought it was time to visit some of the local areas and decided to head out to these beautiful thermal springs only to find the local area has recently had a bush fire through, non the less we made the most out of the trip and found some caches while we were here, my muggle friends and I found this one quickly and intact - TFTC Lumpyjrb I really enjoyed it!
First find by KombiKid wife! Photos help a lot.
Thank you for the cache.
Peace out

Easy find on the way back to the car. There were lots of cars around, so looking for the cache behind them was stealthy enough.

We traveled through Northern Territory for four weeks. We started the journey in Alice Springs and drove to Uluru, Kata Tjuta and then to Kings Canyon, Rebank Gorge, Glen Helen Gorge, Ormiston Gorge, back to Alice Springs, to Devils Marbels and then further on to the north. On the way we found some caches. This was one of them.
Das Baden hier hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Immer wieder schwammen wir hinunter zur Brücke und spazierten wieder nach oben. TFTC!

GPS is off a bit .. but used the photo in the activity which was damaged by the motor home to find the right place
Thanks lumpyjrb for placing this cache. Found after wandering with the gps....eventually found but then had to wait to return it in position due to muggles. Cache in good condition log signed but needs new one.
Cache is fine. There are two containers, one is too hard to remove but the other is accessible. Good luck.
Found it using the spoiler photo from a log in 2017 and then using a torch to locate it. Otherwise we wouldn't have found it.
Then used the extraction tool from that photo which was still near it
Left it on a spot 10cm away, slightly more accessible

Found the location but foiled by intense parking. We had the right rock but the motor home suffered damage parking on it.
I think there’s something wrong with this cache. Or the difficulty should go up, or there should be a better way to find this cache. I looked in many places, also with help from the picture called “spoilt”. The hint is not helping anything, so too bad! Unless the cache is gone, this one is painful
The iPhone was out a bit on this and after a bit of searching and using the spoiler pic (thanks much appreciate) we located it spent sometime trying to retrieve before finding something to help cache grabbed. We left our little helper close by for the next person. Tftc
Stayed at Bitter Springs for a few days, and before heading off today we came out for a nice early morning float and a touch of turtle spotting before it got too busy. That also meant I was free to find this cache without any muggle disturbance. Thanks for the cache here Lumpyjrb... A top hide in a top spot. FP.
Thanks to the spoiler pic we soon had this one in hand after a quiet early morning swim. What a beautiful location. Very sneaky little hide. A favourite from us. TFTC!
TFTC. SL Being the wet and no muggles made this a little easier. At least our strange behaviour went unnoticed. A typical LUMPY hide.
Took the three of us almost an hour to find it well hidden, great spot, definitely made us think outside the box
We found this utilising the previous image - make sure you bring along your tweezers to retrieve it from the depths!
After staying the night nearby we decided to have a crack at this one on the way out this morning but unfortunately we didn't find the cache. The hint alluded to a spot a fair way away from our GZ.
Thanks anyway Lumpyjrb.
Thanks anyway Lumpyjrb.
Couldn't find it. Got distracted by Master 3 jumping face first off the table.
Had trouble getting an accurate fix, but found it with the help of the previous logs. TNLNSL TFTC.
The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 11. After a night at Daly Waters I started the day driving North. Only a few stops before getting into Katherine for some re-supply activities.
I spent ages last year looking for this one and today it was just there ready to be found exactly in one of the most likely spots. Good to cure at least one DNF.
Thanks.

had an extended poke around and came back for a second look after swimming but sadly no smiley today. Feeling too old today lol to get right diwn and dirty!!!
First attempt had muggles still in their caravans, went for a swim, came back and bingo, quick find and sign and we were gone.
wonderful place. Glad that we were there and took a bath in the bitter springs. Thanks for bringing us there. Hafischo from Germany
Hard with muggles around , think we may have been a little spotted ... but cool cache thanks
GPS was all over the place but thanks to a little help from a photo we had some Idea where to look. #TFTC
On a clockwise half lap of the East side of Australia. Travelling from Edith Falls to Mataranka and decided to grab a few caches , despite the afternoon heat. Thanks to all the CO'S for their valuable work and maintaining the cache's.

Detour around Australia - family of 6 travelling in a camper trailer for 6 months!!
Due to the lack of reception in these outback regions of Australia, we got seriously behind in logging caches. But a new year's resolution is good enough for me to get the trip of lifetime logged! Thankfully I did diligently write in my diary to record each days events!!
Bitter Springs is definitely up there in the top 10 places we visited as we travelled. On this particular day, it was our second visit to the springs having visited both Mataranka and the pools yesterday. It took a while to find this little hide - a hide I remember well as the kids certainly didn't appreciate its sneakiness when they were just anxious to get down to the springs!
We did find it eventually though, and off to the springs we went. I possibly made the mistake of telling the kids that we could float down as many times as we like until they were sick of it. I think after 11 times, I gave up and the DH had to continue for another couple more trips without me [P)]
One of the best days of our trip! Thanks for placing a cache to mark the day!! A favourite for sure!

I am so happy to at last convert this little fellow to a smilie. Tried another 2 times before success at last very early this morning. I guess this is a warning to fellow cachers not to push him too far back into his hidey hole.
A challenging sneaky hide that has now been revealed to me. After adding my name to the log I returned him to where I found him. Signed log as SG as I often do in small caches to save space. Thanks Lumpyjrb for another great cache.

Found this one early this morning but it is so far back that I cannot retrieve it. Will try again tomorrow morning before the muggles arrive after I have armed myself well with numerous tools.
This was our second attempt at this cache, we had tried back in January but ended up logging a DNF.
Thanks to a spoiler picture we were able to narrow our search somewhat which made things easier.
Cache was found, signed and then replaced before we headed off for a swim in Bitter Springs.

A very high muggle area and after hanging about for 15 minutes trying not to look too obvious I called it a DNF BOOHOO not happy Jan thanks anyway

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed 52 days long travelling (from Brisbane to Brisbane via Cairns, Darwin, Alice Springs, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Gold Coast), sleeping in our car and of course geocaching here!
Greetings from the Czech Republic/Europe! I would like to invite all australian geocachers to Czechia, we have got many excellent caches on amazing places too!

Another very tiny cache, still several spots to sign the log... thanks take me here beautiful natural trees TFTC
Back for another look on our return trip. The GPS was still unsure where to go so we started closest to where we were parked. Great to have a quick find on a previous DNF. Could have sworn we looked there before but it can't have been well enough. TFTC Lumpyjrb.
GPS was all over the shop and then settled down to take us to the centre of the road. OK! there are quite a few possibilities and a few more muggles than we would like so we gave up the hunt and went for a swim instead.
Found by Mary & David at 1330. Took quite a while here with uncertain coordinates, but they turned out to be pretty close. Found on about our third pass. Our thanks to Lumpyjrb.

After the event - on the way to North. enjoyed wander and look for the caches (GC and GCA) on the way to Home via Victoria H/way [^]

Unfortunately for this cache there was too much competition from the pool for us to give it a long dedicated search. Once refreshed we had another look but that's a damn sneaky cache, we couldn't find it.
We had a good search around but no luck at all here today
With all that many DNFs maybe the difficulty rating should be higher.
Thanks

Alice trip 2017. Day 16. Another day of driving, today took Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I from Mataranka to Adelaide River. Long distances with fewer caches until we arrived at Katherine. Great country along the way. This one beat me even though I thought I looked at many places all around GZ.
Thanks.

Cache is still there. We have had difficulty getting accurate co ords due to the tre cover but it is there.
No luck with this one today unfortunately. Coords took us to the middle of the road. We tried all the likely spots but to no avail.
Another cache where coordinates constantly take you to middle of road. Many good cache sites searched to no avail
Sadly a DNF today. With 2 separate GPS units that kept taking us to the middle of the road. There were many spots which we looked at in a wider search but nothing.
No luck. There has been some signs removed in the past month so cache may be gone
So this one got the better of me and I went back for another look and took some help. Very sneaky hide. TFTC
Early morning find without the muggles. Thanks for the cache. 13/08/2016, 7:34 AM
Groet team Geo Burgt.

Searched everywhere. Couldnt find even after reading other logs. love Bitter springs
DNF. Searched around GZ near the boulders and extended the search. Not found.
