Unfortunately I have decided to archive this letterbox. It was continually exposed to the elements by not being replaced correctly and eventually suffered irreparable termite damage. Sorry.
I need to eradicate termites who had taken up residence in the letterbox. Temporarily disabled.
I came by to do a maintenance check and the termites had decided to take a liking to the letter box! I have taken it home for repair.
TFTC after a failed attempt at another mailbox earlier today, we aimed for this one because it was close to the road. Once I saw that it was my friend Perusal, I was keen to check it out. I got out of the car and put my hands in the general vacinity. I touched the cache without realising it was the cache. I stood back, and call for Miss Chick and The Rooster to get out. This is a favourite point, if there ever was one.
Thanks so much Perusal. This was one to tell other cachers is a must do.

Myself and GeoJane were heading down to the Byron markets and thought we would make a slight detour to look for this cache. Just as we parked the car near the GZ it started to rain quite heavily...so we grabbed a few blankets to cover ourselves and headed off to where the thought the cache was located. A few minutes search and we made the discovery, what an excellent idea for a letterbox hybrid! Very cool indeed. A favorite point from me. TFTC
Great container, had to do some legal loitering while a truck went past, then give him the OK when he came back out and I was then writing the log. Good start to the 7 souvenirs collection. Left a tb.

Being a Sunday this road was super quiet, which suits us. When we arrived at GZ we spotted a well crafted GeoCache before we had even gotten out of the car. Clever. I'm surprised that we haven't seen one like this before.
The craftsmanship of this cache needs to be seen by all. A favorite of ours. Thanks Perusal, the first of your caches that we have found.

Found this on our way to Byron Bay. Cool camo. Took pathtags. A favourite, thanks.
On our way south today to do some cache maintenance I spotted the icon for this cache. I love Letterbox caches and so just had to come for this one. We were very impressed with the cache camo and indeed - left a pathtag in gratitude Perusal. A nice quiet road here and good co-ords let us straight to GZ. I stamped our cache sheet and stamped the log book with a discoverable TB. [^][^]
On a leisurely drive down the coast we stopped to pick up this unusual icon. Loved the outer container . TNLNSL TFTC.
Fabulous. We loved it. Left pathtag to show my approval. On our way to Bangalow to meet up with another cacher. Lovely clear day.
Heading North for a couple of months (Winter Migration), en route to Caloundra...
Found this well hidden cache, stamped log & replaced... Giving this a fave for the effort gone into it...
Thanks for the cache Perusal and for bringing me here... Dipped TB's...

[green]Find #3070 @ 1150[/green]
This morning a large group of us set out geocaching, but now after nightfall only a single carload of us remained to press onto this find. I was keen to find a letterbox hybrid - I always am and so Fangsoki piloted Pprime, Dosshell and I to it.
Illuminated by the car's headlights we hopped out and made a quick find - pretty obvious to a geocacher, but I am sure that excellent camouflage keeps it hidden from muggles. I even had fun opening it. Inside in good condition and I grabbed a trackable to move along. Replaced as found and a great way to end our geocaching day down south. TFTC Perusal

Out in the area with a small posse that by now had dwindled to just a carload. With the mercurial Mr Fangsoki as driver we were quickly at GZ for one of the simpler letterbox finds I can recall ... but oh what a lovely container. Beautiful work.
Thanks for placing this cache, Perusal. Found in good condition.

First letterbox cache dropped off KANE VIEW MOTEL TB . Awesome little hide . Best ive seen so far TFTC
I came by today to drop off a Tb and found this quite exposed. This may have happened some time ago. I have now replaced as originally hidden with some covering. Please don't remove the "letterbox" from it's position. Just swivel the front. Also please cover well ie leave as found!! Thank you for your help as this will ensure a long life for the cache. CO

I find myself today all alone and up very early watching my caching buddies (and geowife) all climbing Mt Warning. They have left me because I have a recent health condition that prevents me from climbing anything too strenuous. So leaving Murwillimbah Caravan Park at 3.30am I drove around The Tweed looking for suitable terrain caches.
Hmm my first of the Perusal Caches...and a funny coincidence - I just had an FTF with LadySim near Yatala in which it appears we only JUST beat the CO of this cache - sorry about that!
Still very dark on arrival which made this one a little harder to find, but soon enough I had a unique little hide open and I got to use my new Self Inking Swellerfungus Stamp for the first time!
Thanks for the cache - excellent and interesting cammo indeed! Well played.

A beaut day for getting out and draining the batteries. Thanks for the fun. Love the twist in the end. I stamped this one with the Astro stamp. Of course.
Thanks to Perusal and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Geo Wife and Girls were off shopping today and I'm not into that so I headed south to do some of my favourite game down the coast.
I headed inland for this one on my way down as it was the only one out this way.
I parked across the road and had a leisurely walk to GZ.
There were trucks up the end of the road with men working around them but they were too far away and obviously concentrating on what they were doing to worry about me.
I got to GZ and stared and couldn't believe my eyes, WOW what a hide!!
I got the cache out and did the stamp swapping then took a photo for posterity of this classic cache!!!
This one DEFINITELY deserves a favourite point!!
Thanks Perusal TFTC SL TNLN

What all this now? A letterbox I had not seen yet Sweet_bee were heading back to QLD and decided to drop in and get this one.
As soon as I stepped out of the car, a swarm of mosquitoes promptly attached themselves to my back I warned Sweet_bee to stay in the car - she is badly affected by them.
Though were following me around I didn't seem to get bitten thankfully. My GPSr would not settle down. I found a crushed tin with a book in it. I hoped that wasn't it - and it wasn't thankfully.
Hmmm.. Then I found myself on the correct side of the road and found a really clever little mailbox. A bit of love and care has gone into this. I signed the log for us and took the geocoin to move it along.
Have a favourite point for your effort, Perusal. Hopefully the mozzies will begoned soon.

What a great cache!!! It blends in so well to it's environment, you wouldn't spot it unless you were looking for it. For some reason when Dav81 and myself first arrived I started searching on the wrong side of the road But Dav81 was on the ball and had the cache spotted in no time. After signing the log we replaced the cache as we had found it.
Thanks for the cache Perusal

Found on our 2 day trip to Kingscliff. We have been caching for 18 months but this is our first ever letterbox . Took a TB left a TB. TFTC great container.
I've picked up the letterbox exterior for an improvement. Insides still in situ to find.
Our very first letterbox cache, we had an interested muggle watching us for a while, while we pretended to be looking at the scenery. Rusty85 found her first trackable here so she was doubly excited. Loved the concept. TFTC Perusal I have loved all of yours we have done.
Great little spot, loved the native container, found my first trackable in my first Letterbox Cache. Signed log quickly as the sky was black above us and we just made the car. Found with Jammo25, TFTC.
Lobbed past here on a mini-break off the M1 and had a quick stretch by the side of the road. I do like my letterboxes and this was always on the hit list for this trip
An easy find here and the cache is in good nick! Dropped in a wee Pirate geocoin and retrieved Simon the Slug who joined me for the rest of the drive to Woopi.
Now it's your turn to log my letterbox Ms Perusal and Mika
So, hopped into Sooty and on we rolled down the highway...
TFTC Perusal, nice one! A FAVE point from moi.

Heading down Byron way today for two days of caching fun. Collecting some caches here and there along the way.
I had met the CO a few weeks ago, so I thought that I would take this little detour and have a look for some of her caches.
This was on a nice quiet road, so no worries with traffic going by. Good co-ords meant a nice easy find thanks

Nice cache to start the new year after an enjoyable swim at Cabba.
Loved the cache container, but have learned to expect somthig special from the CO's caches.
Was hoping to pickup the coin but we weren't the first visitors today.
TFTC all in great nick.

Perusal, you deserve a medal for the great set of caches you have created in this area, a variety of types, imaginative containers, spot-on coordinates, I have had the most enjoyable afternoon ever in my caching career!!
As I approached this one there was a car parked right at GZ, I asked if he was a geocacher but he said not but he had found a few, I said you are sitting on top of one right now!!
A quick find of a neat hide, took TB, gets a favorite, TFTC Perusal!!

Dropped off geocoin whilst checking on my letterbox. Please only slide the inside out and when replaced cover well.
Found while out for a days Caching. A nice quick find and a type of Cache I don't get the chance to do often. Nice hide. TFTC.
This was my first letterbox cache. Had seen it appear early in November and I drive past the road it is located on at least once a week - so finally with the help of Richmond Lad it was found and logged. Many thanks Perusal for my first letterbox cache.
This was the first of this type of Cache I have found. JooJoo57 and I went and found. Found quite quickly TFTC Perusal
Found while on Christmas caching holiday with Brother Colin. Liked this one. We stopped and had our lunch here. TFTC
HAPPY BOXING BAY.
Mum has recently bought a van to travel around Australia in a few months time.
So a test run was needed. [^]
So a few days were planned to head south from Brissy and travel from cache to cache.
On Xmas Day we slowly we made our way south to Byron Bay and then up to Brunswick Heads looking for a caravan park to stay for the night without success. Eventually we found space at Wooyung.
Today we plan to make our way slowly north going from cache to cache. This one was on my list of caches to find for this trip.
We were able to park the car on the side of the road. A quick find and in good condition. We set up for lunch and decided our next option as every caravan park on the coast was full. So we decided to head inland, eventually finding space in Murwillumbah.
Thanks for the cache.

We stopped by on our way to Queensland today.
We made minimal stops on the trip today but we stopped at every letterbox or EC along the way.
At GZ the cache was quickly spotted, nice camo by the way. A good cache the mark our 1700th find. TFTC.

Great natural mailbox. Cache was easily found unfortunately no time to spot any wildlife as it started to poor! Just time to sign the log and swap a TB. TFTC Perusal.
My first letterbox cache! No stamp but I signed and dated. I saw TB3E2W3 Player Bug Dog Tag.
Cache is dry and in good condition

A late find in the dark while waiting to pick relatives up from the Airport at coolangatta. Could only sign the log book as I never had my own stamp. Must carry one as this is our third letterbox cache.
Took 2 tbs and one geocoin.
Thanks

Would love to have been around to race for the FTF,but not to be,excited about getting another letter box cache, don't see to many of them.

Thanks again Perusal.

Nice Easy Find this one for the spikeyman. Never come across a mail box one before and I didn't have a stamp but I signed the log . For those who might be sceptical re the koala I can advise that I live not too far from this particular cache and 3 weeks ago we had one of these delightful creatures turn up on our back verandah ! TFTC Perusal.
I'd wanted to do a Letterbox cache for sometime but had thought that the closest was the other end of the GC, so I was somewhat surprised and delighted to discover that there was one more local. Even more surprising was that it was still unfound this morning.
After finding the two Cabarita traditionals we headed down Clothiers Creek road. We turned off and found a park at the side of the road at the appropriate spot. Doing a little more bush bashing than we needed and picking up an absolute sockful of "Farmers Friend", the container was soon in hand and what do you know, another clean logbook.
This might be my first letterbox cache but I do scrapbook so I came prepared with a butterfly stamp from my collection. As I mentioned in my logbook entry, butterflies would feature on a family crest if we had one. I also stamped the cache stamp on a small card to put into the album when I get around to do the page.
Anyway, first letterbox cache and a FTF to boot - woohoo! Took the Lucky's C TB and the FTF pathtag. Thanks for the cache.

Congratulations to Petan on their FTF and their first letterbox cache. I set myself extra challenges such as trying to do as many different types of caches in a day. Thus my funny series down here so that others can do the same if they so wish.
