Today we left Cairns and headed back to Atherton to find the caches that we had not done since our last visit and this was one of them. At GZ Mrs "T" made a quick find.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

1000 - Out and about with a visiting Kiwi friend and enjoying this beautiful, slightly overcast day and the fresh air. The experience must have been so good that my friend decided to join and register with his caching name ....
Today was my lucky day and I finally can log a find for this cache after many empty handed visits. T4TC.

Cairns trip 2016. Day 17. Today was a caching around Cairns day. I headed south and did a few along the Bruce highway. Some were nasty and some were traditional drive bys.

Thanks.

4 DNF's from some newbies with their I Phones does not constitute a "needs archiving", did you actually look for the cache yourself?

11-Aug-15
Hi there Fullboar>,

Your cache "Lilly & Amelia's Duck Pond" was last found on 1/10/2014, 314 days ago, and has had 6 DNF's since that time..
Is there any chance you could do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and replace it if it isn't.
If that's not possible then please archive the cache so that the spot can be freed up for someone else to use.

Regards

Ian & Penny

I don't understand why SirJ-Oz would put a needs maintenance log on this cache as it is in position at the listed coordinates, in good condition and the hint matches the cache location.

No pleasing some people i guess Smile

Quick find on an early stroll, nice little spot and container, should have bought the geokids, TFTC Fullboar>.

The placement doesn't match the hint. As indicated by my log and the previous finder, this cache would benefit from some attention from the CO.

Find #1515. Found @ 12:45.

I'd just completed a multi that started very close, and decided to pick this one up on the way back to the car.

I was looking in the wrong spot until I checked the previous logs. The container location doesn't match the hint and it took me way too long to find.

I placed it back where I found it, but probably needs some maintenance performed on it by the CO.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Fullboar>.

We love this place so much so thanks for bringing us here, we are definitely coming back with a loaf of bread. Searched for this one for 1 1/2 hours and just when we were going to give up thought we'd have one last look and.. bingo! Geokid stepped on it near the edge in a random spot hidden under debris, it was on it's side so wasn't sure where it's proper location was. Reading other logs to try and find original location was a bit confusing so have placed near where we found it hidden next to a white rock marker within range of gps co-ords. Hope all is ok. After goodness knows how many attempts to find this we finally got it sorted (after multiple rebuilds by CO). Thanks heaps for keeping this one alive.

It was good to see that this cache is now back waiting to be found.
It will probably end up being our most closest find to home. In the afternoon there wasn't too many muggles around apart from some keen fisherkids who weren't catching much of anything.
Definitely no room for swaps or trackables in this new container.
Thanks Fullboar for this cache.

FTF at 12:50pm. A few children playing in the park and the local Council workers were having a lunch break right over the GZ. Hung about for a while and appreciated the ducks and the pond, and eventually the workers left and we had the cache in an instant. This is a popular spot, so I hope the cache will survive in its present location. Nice camo but still exposed.
TFTFTF SL TNLN. Sorry the Boys of Spinmeout did not have any bread to feed the Ducks.
