Another interesting cemetery , l was thankful for the hint as the coordinates had me a little out but since it's an oldie that's acceptable.old log signed but.will need new log soon.. old one is passed it used by date.

A hot weekend, so day1976 and I headed to a river and waterfall to camp near. On the way we did some caching, until it started getting later and we figured we should find a spot to camp!
We went down the wrong road first, then reversed back and went up to the cemetery where we were able to get the van nice and close. I was wearing sandals so I got day1976 to go and retrieve it.

When leaving the main road we were given two choices of roads to get to this cache. Now, given the name of the cache, you'd think Cemetry Road would be the obvious choice, but who can't resist driving up a road called Butt Hill Road? I know, childish - and the wrong choice.

After a bit of reversing, a u-turn and a right hand turn, we were on the right track eventually and I made the find shortly after parking.

Spent the day doing a few caches in the area, this was the first stop for the day and an easy one to warm up to.
The cache was soon located but the logbook is damp, got my name on the paper just!

Good cache near the Cemetery. The log book isn’t in a water proof bag and is a little bit waterlogged.

On the way home after working in Yarram for the teaching First Aid. Found after a short search unfortunately the lid of the container is missing and the log is a little damp.

This was a quick find. From the road I had no idea there was a cemetary here. Taking a walk through I found myself shedding a few tears for my sister and father who passed within 2 weeks of each other last year. The graveyard had a working bee on to clean up the grounds. It looks good.

This is the second time I have found this cache. I was here on the 11-09-2018 laying my Pop to rest and after the ceremony I came to find this one but I must of forgot to log it, unfortunately I am back today to lay my Nan to rest as well. I took the kids for a walk to show them this little cache and sign it again. I will give this one a favorite point for the location as it is a very peaceful stop. Thanks for the cache.

Sun was shining and a day off meant a caching trip with Ski Pair, a plan was hatched with a list of around 70 caches on it as we headed out to tackle the Giffard Road Series and a few other caches we passed along the way. We managed 2 FTF's and I found My 17,000 cache. no trouble hear but the log is rather damp.

Camped at Gormandale after returning from Tasmania. Out for a few caches today. First for the day, quick find, cache and contents all good, good coordinates. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC

An we were oon onto the cache. SL TFTCplace to find a cemetery, we were very pleased to see the signs to assure us that we were in the right place. The co-ords were a little flaky but with the hint and geosense

*beware the swooping magpies* the sign warned us as we entered the restful place. We admired the well keep gravesites and made our way to GZ........ the magpies were swooping at the graves however not when our search began. A quick walk and we had our hands on the cache log signed and returned.

Heading home after a weeks holiday in the High Country and what may be our last day after leaving Dargo earlier. We stopped and collected some caches along the road as we head through the area.

As what I caught a couple of local youngsters up to in their car,
can only be described as either disrespectful,
or depraved,
given the setting

Needless to say they p!$$ed off pretty quickly when I parked the geomobile next to them

Which left me free to stroll the stones,
pay me respects,
and find the cache

And on me stroll back to the geomobile,
I found that another local had turned up to pay his respects to somebody in the cemetery
I'm glad he didn't catch the twits that I did !!
It may not have ended as well for the amorous couple

Maybe they learned that cemeteries are busy places on Sundays
Or better yet,
the surrounding forest might be quieter [^]

We had a pleasant wander around, wondrred where the athiests are burried and wondred why people still segregate even on death. Not sure any god really cared what row your burried in. Tftc

Second find of the day. We parked outside and had a walk around taking in the history. Finally making our way to GZ. Had to widen our search a bit as the GPSr was not as accurate today. Spotted a likely area and then quickly had the cache in hand. Log signed and replaced. TFTH

Not so quiet today as there was a working bee happening near the entrance. It was good to see this location looking so well cared for. We were locals of sorts once so recognised a few of our friends/acquaintances nearby. It brought back some memories both good and bad. Cache had us going for a while as the coordinates were not quite spot-on. A widening of our search paid dividends. TNLN Thanks ornursie72 for leading us to this peaceful location.

Had half-attempted this one several months ago, but when we got to the gate we could see several people down at the graves (living people...) so we turned around and decided to leave it for another day. We had the Cemetery to ourselves today so headed on in and made the relatively quick find. Such a peaceful area. Thanks ornursie for putting a cache here. SL

Don't get sprung very often, but a friendly biker asked if we were caching as we headed back to the car after finding this one. We used to travel between Yarram and Traralgon every week many years ago, and its nice to revisit old haunts.
