Decided to travel as north and east as I can go in the metropolitan area. There are some caches around Palm Beach for the taking, although a few too many look to be muggled.
On the way there were two caches at Terrey Hills to be grabbed, one I'd previously DNFed.
All up, got seven. And a nice day out for it.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Made my way to GZ via the pool
Amazing carving. Waves crashing - and it's not high tide.
No cache to be found.
Cache check required.

Found the carving but not the cache. Not enough time to have a good look. Worth the quick walk for the artwork though. TFTC
Found it. Great spot, always come up here but never knew this was there!
Cache is all dry. Was easy to find in a break between a nice swim!!!

Thanks for bringing me here, loved the lizard, actually saw a live one in the park on top of the hill, TFTC
Walked down Malo Road, found the pathway and walked down to the beach. Followed the sand on the right past the swimming pool and over the rocks until I found old man and Lizard sculptured in the rock. Great hide. Loved the views. No TBs in cache. Cache and log are dry. TNLN SL TFTH TFTC
Lovely warm winters morning. Surf pounding. Lady sitting with a baby at gz so had to introduce her to our sport. Sl tnln tftc!
What a great spot! We spotted the carving as we approached. The cache followed swiftly thereafter! Thanks for bringing us here!
Looped around from Malo Rd, past the pool and onto the rocks. The rock at gz is fascinating, shame there's no contextual information near it. The hide, at least as I found it, won't last. I suspect it isn't currently hidden as the CO originally hid it, and would recommend a cache check. Thanks GEOCACHER567.
Wow !
Thats why I love this activity - you get to find all these amazing places, under your nose that most people would never see ! Greay cache - thanks !

Found it. The box dropped down a bit when I put it back, if the next person wants to put it a little higher! Cheers. TFFC!
17/11/13. 6:46 AM. Cache #1070. 1 of only 2 finds today. Targeting Northern Beaches caches under 2 months old, starting up here. I parked at the end of Malo Rd and then made my way down the steps to the rock pool. The rain had eased to a trickle - would not have been pleasant 10 minutes earlier. As I walked past the back of the pool, I wondered how I was going to get to the search area without getting wet (wearing jeans and hiking boots), but I managed to find a way hopping around the rocks.
I spied the old man and the lizard and made my way over and from there it was an easy find. Made my way back to the car and looked at what was next. Not having swimmers on, I decided to abandon SURFER'S DREAM and I Dream of Jeannie, so drove off to Dr. Zouk's Zany Zeal Revived. TFTC }:)

Found with Scott&Ramona. Had to be sneaky with so many people there on a sunny Saturday! TNLN.
Found with Ellie&Carl. This one took a while to find, even with four of us searching. Great spot for a cache and an awesome carving too! TOOK: Oi! Oi! Oi! TB and a Hawaiian keyring, LEFT: A NSW Police button. TFTC!
Came here on a beautifully sunny day. Super high tide made the section past the pool a bit dodgy, but timed my movements and was in the vicinity of the cache. Pondered on what the old man might be, looked up, and saw him from a distance away.
Dropped a TB.
Dropped a TB.
Found early in the morning during a stroll around the beaches. Lovely spot for rock hopping.
The prospect of getting to places like these is always a good reason to be out and about so early.
Thanks #567 - Only 1 *FTF* today... Should have brought my watercraft!
Geo-Haiku:
There's no surf today,
What a beautiful morning!
Think I'll take a swim...
