An enjoyable long weekend caching with friends around the Southern Tablelands.Quick find in a beautiful location. TFTC Danthesouthsfan!
A cool and fun day of caching around the Southern Tablelands. This cache was a straightforward find in the obvious location although not the end we searched first! Container and log in good condition with still some spaces on the tiny log. What a great oval! Thanks!
After a couple of minutes the little devil was located. There is still plenty to see and do in Canberra and lots of caches, but it is time to move on. The cold is getting to us so we will be heading north. We made the journey from Canberra to Orange, we haven't been here before! As usual we stopped for a few convenient caches along the way and enjoyed lunch in Cowra.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Danthesouthsfan.**SKI Pair****
Coming from a few great days in Orange, we travelled through a magnificent landscape this morning.First cache for the day, a quick find, and of course, Bluey, Bingo and the family came to mind.TFTC
I can't believe we missed this one the first time round. Back again a couple of months later and found it almost straight away. TFTC!
Yass/Canberra trip. Day One My son and I headed off on our annual caching trip. Of late its around 7 days away. I found 13 caches today most were found for a challenge and the other was found for my 20th loop. Yippee All were found and signed. Couple were difficult to find. Day Two9 found today I was picking up a new LGA. In the end I needed to pickup the speed and less caching. The push to Yass was that the office closed at 6pm. All were found and signed. Couple were difficult to find.Danthesouthsfan thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for geocaching community enjoyment.
Driving into an empty sports ground reminds of all my greatest sporting achievements. I have won grand finals and world cups and each time it has happened there has been no one around. I once took a double hat-trick in cricket when there was no one batting or fielding. Ill never forget it because I woke up soon after with a smile on my face.Thankfully we had bought our tickets to the local game on the reputable web site scammers-are-us.com and even turned up early so had the best seat in the house. That seat also had a cache so it was a double win. Hopefully the players turn up soon. tftc
No one here this morning, so I could have a good look around. Wasn't hard to find the cache with a quick search.

Headed out today in search of a cache, and this one was a good one to come and get as the place was deserted! Took a few minutes to find the right spot with the natural guardians in the way.

Found this when the log fell out and then found the half of the container. We replaced the cache container with one of the same type and put the old log back - still plenty of space on it. TFTC
This one took a while - thankfully there was no one around today. Replaced the container with one we had with us for others to enjoy the hide. TFTC
Took some searching, but found it in the end. Grateful for the shade. Logged as R1BG.
On the road from Canberra to Orange & making a couple of caching stops. I've had an unsuccessful look for this one previously on my own, so it was good to find today with the fam. Signed R1BG. TFTC.

Nice. Didn't unroll the paper log; not sure of repacking it as well again. TFTC. Stopped at the Cargo common (park) for lunch, think it was designed by blokes - the BBQ sheltered, the table in the open, ha!
Visiting the mid west today to deliver flyers to various Visitor Information Centres promoting the Leura Gardens Festival in October (which by the way is a great event for garden lovers). Couldn't resist doing a few caches along the way. Didn't even want to try to pull out the log for this one, which is probably still full, so took a photo instead.
Heading to the Queensland Muster in Barcaldine with plans to catch up with family and fellow cachers in NSW first we headed up through some uncharted areas seeking out presolved puzzles and any other caches that took our fancy.
We had trouble with our devices but eventually they did settle on the single seat and the sneaky micro was located on the third sweep.
Thanks Danthesouthsfan for the placement.

Found cache while Mr R was doing some exploring around the area. Thanks for the cache
Tftc. Unfortunately we read a log that gave away the location before we had a chance to search.
With geostrom. On the day, a lovely quiet place. With only a sprinkler to break the peace.

We looked & looked under the large set with no luck, then moved over to the smaller one. There we finally spotted the little bugger hiding away.
Thanks

A quick detour in here for what proved to be a quick find in these beautifully maintained club facilities. Really enjoyed this one, with no one to trouble us in our search. Thanks Dan. A favourite point for the lovely rural location.
10973. Found during a slightly delayed two day Queens Birthday long weekend run up through the Cowra region.
Day 2 of my Cowra region trip and after hitting the road early this was my next stop for the day. Totally deserted today which was good for the required search - didn't take to long until the little guy was located. Signed, returned, and it was off to the next one.
Thanks Danthesouthsfan !!

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
On day one of our trip we headed from Canberra to Dubbo. The caching was in the second half of the day at small towns and around Dubbo itself. Mostly it went soothly. There was nothing on at the oval so we were in and out quickly. Thanks.

Can the Blue Heelers round up a championship this year ??
Is there really a cache hiding in amongst all the redback spider webs ?? [:o]
Questions, questions, questions [:o]
I needed a stick !!
Stick found
(No !! The stick was not to distract the Blue Heelers during a match)
It was for removing the spider webs
Cache found !! [^]

Got the FTF on another of Dan's yesterday and decided to come and have a go at this one as no one had got it yet. Took Geo-daughter and three of her cousins (all girls) for the ride and they all had a blast. Thanks for getting us out Dan and thanks for another FTF! Squick
