Logs
Found with gmj3191 on a lovely afternoon bike ride along the Scotchman's Creek track. The cache took a while to find, but previous logs helped. Thanks for the fun.
Find #8,902 for me, on 21 Oct 2024 3:35pm. The weather was Scattered Clouds 27C 42% 3 m/s . Found with PamJ on a bike road along the Scotchmans Creek Trail. The cache was in good condition although the log was a bit untidy, but very dry in the warm sun. Thanks opted-out user for your contribution to the game.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
I drive past this bridge a couple times a week, and I always knew there was a cache there but I never really found myself in the right place at the right time to actually pull over and pick up this one. But with night having fallen and me returning from a dinner out with friends, I thought to myself, today was the day I finally crossed it off my list. Finding a decent park, I quickly called up the bridge and began the search. After a little bit of fiddling around, the treasure soon revealed itself, and with the weather beginning to turn, I knew I had to quickly run back to the car. Tha lnks for the cache and the little adventure.
Found after a job interview in the area. This one had me puzzled but previous logs helped. I had not been along this trail before but unfortunately I only had time to climb the bridge. Couldn't see a new log in there unfortunately. TFTC
Log updated and cache returned to its correct location. Thanks for the heads-up Madcoop.
This morning I was wandering around the nearby *Valley Reserve* chasing out a cache hidden there. Once found, I decided to extend my morning's walk along the *Scotchman's Creek Trail* and come looking for this cache. I have driven under this bridge many times over the years...but today was the first time I walked over it. Arriving at GZ, it was pretty obvious what one needed to do... and with no muggles around, it didn't take a lot of searching to spot the cache. Extracted with care, the log was signed and the cache returned. Thanks **HADO KARP** for putting this cache here.
Found it after 20-30 mins maybe I will find an idol on survivor ! Off to get some KFC now!
#766 ~ Happened to be in the area to catch up with my cousin who had come in from the country to take her kids at a swim school nearby. We havent seen each other for more than 4 years. Had to grab a smiley to mark the occasion and this one was it. Found with Krossbo. Cleverly hidden in plain sight (if your looking at it from the right angle ) Now heading homeward towards QLD. TFTC HADO KARP!!
Found on the way back home from our Tassie holiday with Muddtrax. Tricky little bugger but with hints and clues from the logs, your hiding place was soon discovered with a another signed log from us. TFTC
Found at 09:50Back today to avenge an old dnf. I searched around and managed to spot the cache from taking a look from a different angle. Thanks HADO KARP for the cache
I used to live nearby and had lots of walks during lockdown on this trail. At the time I didn’t know about geocaching. Thanks for bringing me back to this area and adding a new layer to the memory
I looked for this cache several years ago without success. This time I wasn't going to leave GZ until I had located it. I had a fair idea what I was looking for, but that didn't lead to a quick find. Instead of looking in the same places again I tried a different angle and that led me to the cache. Tftc.

Nice little tucked away spot.
Very beautiful scenery.

Out in this area this morning, it was going to rain but we have sunshine! Glad to say it's found this time, totally looked in the wrong place last time and glad to tick this off the list. Signed LBC..
Couldn't find it think we pinned down the location based on previous logs and the hint, spent a good 20 mins looking and could not find it
Took me way too long for 1.5 but eventually found it, and yes I agree, it isn't too high.
was mislead by the comments left on this one, not too high but definitely well hidden. my boyfriend thinks it wasn’t so micro either, i still thought it was. we all want something we can’t have
Found It!
Searched in the wrong place for a bit before looking further along the bridge and finding the cache!

A bit high to resemble the terrain rating. Even with tall members we still were only just able to reach with a tool.
Bit scary walking above all the speeding cars

Found it! I’m glad I picked up a reaching tool along the walking trail as it came in very handy. A tricky placement. Managed to get it down, sign the log book and replace without any bother from Muggles. I also managed to get it back and hopefully haven’t made it too tricky for the next finder. I’ve left the reaching tool near by leaning in a nook. Now it’s time to collect Mum from just over there! TFTC SL
Great spot took five minutes I could reach but wouldn’t be able to put back up look high
I saw the cache a couple of days ago but I couldn’t reach. Came back today with my husband and daughter. My husband is 6ft and still couldn’t reach! Luckily my daughter had her toy sword with her so we used that to dislodge the cache. We couldn’t put it back in the exact same spot but it’s close by! Sorry and tftc!
You need to be tall to get this one. I'm not a fan of heights especially over busy roads... Thankfully seagullad is taller than me and could reach it. TFTC...
Decided to go for this one after a nearby appointment, it didn't take me and traccas_b too long to understand the clue and previous logs, it was up a big high, (lucky I'm tall!) Tftc!
We've walked across this bridge plenty of times... this is the first time we've noticed the cache. Thanks!
TFTC- this one had us flummoxed for months! Then on a mild autumn day it took geo-kid (8) all of 10 seconds!!
Our third and final cache for the day. We were extending our pleasant walk through the area. I gather one can ride all the way from here to the city -- perhaps I can do that on another visit to Melbourne.
We honed in on the bridge and I had a flashback to a find in Hobart, TAS. Except that the Tassie hide was really tricky and involved more of a grab on faith. Fortunately, I spotted the container before I was within grabbing distance here. A bit of experience certainly helps in such cases.
Before long my name was on the log sheet and the cache was back where we had found it. Then it was time to head on home for the day and plan what to do on our next day in Melbourne.

A quick and easy find !
Even the ants were using the bridge to cross from one side to the other

Thanks for your message.
The cache was replaced after a user had dropped the original cache. The cache had fallen and magnetised to the lower part of the walkway. Although you may be able to see it, it is no longer the original cache. A replacement cache has been replaced in the original spot.

May have found the old cache. It could only be retrieved by either hanging off the side of the bridge or knocking it to the ground with a stick. Have replaced in safer position.

I found this one at 08:50 while on the way to a day of work a few kms south of here. I've stopped by for a look before without success but today I discovered it almost straight away from one of the first places I 'looked'. Go figure.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks HADO KARP.

I've ridden across this bridge many times so had a rough idea what I was looking for. Intially looked in the wrong place but a quick check of the GPS and a slight move and I had it. Hard to be stealthy on the bridge with a dog and plenty of running and cycling muggles coming past!
Searched too low to start with, then realised our error. Spent a little time feeling around and were soon joined by young A&T so searched together - very enjoyable company/co-conspirators - lots of muggles coming through. Eventually T spotted the object of our desires and, after swapping notes about other interesting caches in the surrounding suburb(s), we headed off on our different ways into the golden glow of sunset and gathering dusk. A bit of a catastrophe here today. Amendments have been made. A temporary cache is in place.
Today my mission was to focus on specific LGAs to increase my find count. Luckily while the clouds looked threatening, rain did not hamper my searching. Mission accomplished!
