A visit to the coast had me chasing some caches I should have picked up years ago.

It was a wonderful day for a walk along the high cliff line here.

I admired the para gliders flying back and forth along the beach.

At GZ a short search had me in the right locale.

As stated by the previous finder the lock is pretty rusty.

But it will open with a little strength and it did!

Sadly though the container is a little water logged.

The log was half pulp but I could still sign in a certain spot.

My apologies I was not prepared with any fresh log to help out.

I did close the lid, lock it up and replace both pieces as found.

Hopefully you can get out here to replace at some stage.

Fav from me for the walk and the fun.

TFTC Smile

We’ve walked to this spot a few times but never checked if there was a cache here. But today is Father’s Day and a great chance to go caching together. The GPS is a little patchy but worked well enough to get us within 10 metres once we arrived at the main site.

It took us about 10 mins before we found the cache. Love the idea of this cache though we weren’t able to open the cache due to it being seized by rust. Regardless we get the idea

Thanks very much for this great cache

In serious need of maintenance / replacement. Due to COVID19 lockdowns it is unknown when I'll be able to perform the maintence requried. Thanks

After solving the puzzle we would have been quite disappointed if we had got to GZ and missing finding this one despite the great views west and east along the coast. However we were in luck. Good coords and a keen caching eye had us finding the well crafted container. Then we had to refer to the hint before we could actually sign the log. The cache appears to be in good condition, but unfortunately the log is quite wet and was difficult to sign. Put everything away as it was meant to be, and th3n on to the next.

Another day, another time we have teamed up with Rebel Acts to explore the scenic Bellarine Peninsula. Once again we are signing our logs as either SKI Pair, Rebel Acts or RASH. We have been in the area for well over a week now and still have a lot of unfound caches on our map. We’ve had a great time in the area with Rebel, his experience with caching is much larger than ours so we are learning as well as having a great time. Lots of trash talk about “amateur’s” versus “professionals” has caused quite a bit of laughter.

Thanks to all the local cache owners for giving us so many great caches, and showcasing this lovely area. We won’t manage to clean the area out this time, so we will need to come back another time. And we will be looking forward to it.

Found by Rebel Acts

I had to duck back up to Melbourne on Monday for an appointment but made it back Tuesday afternoon for a couple more days caching with Ski Pair, we had lots of laughs and the stirring is always fun, could not ask for better company.

Today we concentrated our efforts around Angelsea and a few in Geelong. This is one of the caches we found today. We were a little worried about the rust but it still opened, a fun cache to do, however the log book is soaked.

Logs signed as RASP (Rebel Acts Ski Pair)

Thanks Adrian&Ashleigh for the cache.

We were out doing a section of the surf coast walk, from Bells Beach to Pt Addis today, and this was a short detour off the path. I was interested to see what the launch site for the paragliders was like as well. Terrifyingly short, was the answer. You would certainly want to get the run up right! I found both parts of the cache reasonably quickly and after a bit of jiggling things around managed to access the log. A bit of water was in the container but I was able to make my mark on the log, thanks for the cache and the beautiful views.

12-Dec-20
It was a lovely day for a hike and we had to stop past this one. Bush puzzles always get our interest up as you never know what you might find. At the GZ it was a lovely open area with some paragliders already in the air. The puzzle took a bit of scratching before it finally clicked.

Thanks.

Found big and little me - needs maintenance as plastic bag fills with water as well aa cache - like this find in a slope soaring day windy!!!!

10-Jul-20
This one spotted quite quickly by the oldest geokid. Got a bit damp from the contents - could do with a bit of a clean out.

All replaced as found.

Lovely walk, great views. Found eadily as was a means of accessing. Almost got a shower as cache deposited its water! Signed a bit of card, but logs saturated.

14-Jun-20
I was lucky to find all the elements relatively quickly I needed to look in all directions and everything was. Like the others have said the logbook is very very wet and will need maintenance I put card in there as such to put my name on hopefully that will last a little bit longer.
Wow what an amazing location

19-Mar-20
Found the cache but not the other bit. Spent a good quarter of an hour here too. Easy? I think not.

15-Oct-19
Arrived Anglesea for few nights from SA.
Beautiful day for a walk toward the cache.
Didn't have any spare paper with me.
Thanks.

30-Sep-19
Great spot. Very scenic. Main container half full of water with everthing very wet. Put our own bit of paper in. Paragliders overhead.

25-Jul-19
Out with my geokid this afternoon and thought why not finally check out this spot since we are locals around here. Easy find but the big container was completely waterlogged and all of the log papers were absolutely soaked even in the ziplock bags. I had to use my own paper to write my name. The lock is rusty but still useable for now. TFTC!

27-Apr-19
Glided over with the opener to fill the hanging log.

15-Mar-19
Lovely walk to an area where we watched some people paragliding before a little bush bash in search of the cache. Walked in circles for awhile, then luckily the geo hubby spotted the pieces in question. Log book was wet but someone had left a piece of paper, so that was what we signed, then placed it in a ziplock bag for protection.

Thanks for bringing us to this lovely area VicMay, ashleigh.green.

20-Nov-18
We paused to take in the view before going bush to locate the caches. Well that was a surprise. Nice hide. TFTC

Locked and unloaded!

Took a few photos of the bell.

Found on the Parkville mega event round trip. This cache added to the experience.

Thanks Adrian&Ashleigh. and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

My first mystery cache!! Was good fun finding the pieces. The view from the landing is incredible!

The puzzle was a little simpler than we had expected. Luckily for us.
What a view! What a track! What a location!
Thanks VicMap, ashleigh.green.

I'm out for a afternoon walk while I have spare time. Geocaching always brings me to some lovely places.
All is good with the cache although it's a little damp inside after the weekend's horrendous weather. Thanks

30-Jul-18
Firstly apologies for late log, was in the area hunting a few caches and went for this one. Great walk to GZ where the steps required to access the log were quickly worked out and the find made. Thanks to ashleigh.green for this one

01-Jul-18
Out and about doing a few caches with the geokid to earn some creature points. Have looked at this one many times but been put off with the fact it was a puzzle. Now I’m a little more experienced we decided to make the walk, check out the views and do us a puzzle. Great cache, fp added.
Log book needs replacing.

25-Mar-18
This one has been on my radar for ages so today was the day to make a foray to these parts to add some smilies. Enjoyed the walk to GZ and when the necessary tool was in hand I was happily about to
Imprison my name in the lock up. Sadly the log is a sodden pulpy mess so took a photo instead. Great views TFTC VicMap and Ashleigh gree

24-Mar-18
I did not realise this was a puzzle on the walk out so rather than doing a loop walk, I convinced muggle friends to walk back the way we came, with a small detour to GZ. A very slippery and muddy slope in the rain but no-one went for a base jump sans parachute so all's well that ends well. Cache was found no problems but absolutely saturated. Have a photo as proof of our visit if required. Thanks ashleigh.green

Reperio at 1825.

The family and I were in the area for our Christmas holidays, and while we were enjoying the sights, we wanted to stop by a few family friendly caches for the kids to find. As it was getting a bit late in the day, I was keen to locate this one, and so while the rest of the family waited in the car, I went for a quick run to GZ. I arrived to find some very nice views, and then proceeded a little further on to find the cache. It soon became apparent what needed to be done, but the kid was jammed on very well, and took some considerable effort to get off. Eventually he cache was able to be opened, but unfortunately the logbook was soaked. Really enjoyed the concept of this one.

Nice find

Neville_devil and I were out tonight with Ausfox; chasing a couple of mysteries that we needed to qualify us for the Monthly Mystery Challenge. Spotting a couple of mysteries down the coast that is were we headed.
Even though it was a cold and windy night it was still and nice walk by torch light to GZ. Unfortunately being dark the view nothing to rave about. you were only just able to see the waves crashing ashore.
The log book was totally soaked. The main container could do with a drain hole so the don't happen. Still managed to get our name in the log book anyway.

Thank you Adrian&Ashleigh for the find

24-Sep-17
An enjoyable walk to gz not quite knowing what to expect and loved what we found. Added a dry piece of paper on which we logged the find as the cache container was full of water. Now came the fun as i dropped a vital piece of the cache and spent the next 20 mins on my hands and knees searching for it. To my huge relief all pieces of the cache were returned as found. Awesome cache awesome view. A favourite point for sure.

30-Apr-17
Found it! The Walkabouters were on a walk today following the Surf Coast Trail to Bells Beach. We stopped here for the view and I was able to find the cache. It was completely full of water and the log book is saturated! I did not attempt to sign the paper as it would've just ripped. There was water in the other container as well. That component is starting to oxidise! TFTC SL Great concept! I made it harder by bush bashing my way through when there really is not need for that! Smile Have photo of log if needed.

16-Feb-17
Sorry- i meant it was wet inside!!

15-Feb-17
That was a fun mystery cache. Was within inside, but tried to replace pieces in a way that water wouldn't pool within. BYO pen. TNLN. TFTC

05-Feb-17
Enjoyed the walk to the cache after I found a suitable car park. The day was warming up too.
Took in the scenery and then proceeded to solve the lock up. Always good when these field puzzles work.
The log book was fine but there was a little water in the cache which I tipped out. Swaps are a little wet.

Out for a drive to escape the tourist crowds in our beautiful seaside town. Decided to investigate this one as we are new Premium `members. Nice walk into an area we used to frequent many years ago, when hang gliding was in its infancy. I think this track used to be connected to another which led down to the "Paint Mine" now closed off. Used to try to ride down on what are now very vintage Mountain bikes with no suspension whatsoever. No way to ride back up though.
The track passes by a "Track closed" sign indicating use by Para Gliders and posted by "Parks" on behalf of the Para Glider organisation. We were unsure whether to ignore this or not. However we did press on. No Para Gliders using the area, so unsure if this is a left over from some event or what?
Made it to GZ, or passed it as Mrs Spooky49 yells from behind those words "Found it"
Very ingenious work Adrian and Ashleigh, you should be well pleased. Thank you for your efforts. Cache a bit damp. Dried out best we could, signed log ,re assembled and left as found. TFTC .
Took Razzelican Man. Left Froggy.

Staying on after the Surf Coast Event, today was puzzle day focusing on puzzles we had solved to qualify for the mystery month challenge. Enjoyed this one and adding to our favourites.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

14-Nov-16
Here we are slowly working our way back home after the fun of the Mega, and we were keen to stop off and check this one out after driving past a few times before.
We enjoyed the walk into GZ along the trail, as do a lot of cyclists going by the tracks, and checking out the different views and foliage than what we get back home, then soon enough we rocked up to GZ and started to work out what needed to be done....which was done, and we signed our lives away and wandered off to the next one.

A very cool cache indeed.

Thanks Adrian&Ashleigh for the clever cache.

14-Nov-16
It was a pleasant walk along the track towards GZ. The wildflowers were starting to emerge and we had a real bonus in that we saw an echidna who tried to bury its head to hide and protect and was only a metre away from us. When we got near GZ we were greeted with great views along the coast. A brief excursion into the shrubbery led to the recovery of the tool and the cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Adrian&Ashleigh for a very good cache in a wonderful location. It earns a favourite from us.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well I don't think that this pic really does this justice. An amazing spot that we would never have found if not for caching. A simple enough puzzle had us signing the log book in no time. TFTC.

*13/11/16, Found @ 3:28 pm, Find # 6030.*

While out and about with lyn555, searching for caches on this Mega weekend, this cache was found.
This one was a great walk down to a very nice location making the journey was Smepster+Darcy also.
Once we arrived the smaller part was found first and shortly after a larger part, it all came together nicely and the log was then signed.

**Thanks to Adrian&Ashleigh for placing this cache.**

Found it! After having lunch at the GOR Chocolaterie, and having no kids to have to get home for school tomorrow, we decided to amble our way home from tje Surf Coast Mega by way of the back roads along the coast, seeing the sights and grabbing a few finds as we went. By now we had teamed up with Riddell and sere basically jumping from cache to cache. Both parts of this cache were easily found and the view from the ramp was fantastic...TFTC...

Mega time Cool Who can resist a great Mega and all of the fun that is involved[?] Not me! Wink
Thankfully, the lovely GoodLook and Clare007 also wanted to attend and so plans were made.
Last minute changes saw GoodLook and I head off in Harry much earlier than expected while Clare007 arrived later.
A massive 6 days of cachingSmile, competition[^], hugs [:X], jokes (don't mention windscreen wipers Wink ), more caching Cool, catching up with some fantastic people Smile and missing seeing some other fantastic people Sad while enjoying the wonderful countryside and views around the Anglesea area Cool [^]

Day 4 of our Mega trip and what an interesting day this was! [^]
After driving to the Welcome event, GoodLook went off with her team for the game day and Clare007 and I spent the day with TiedyeSmilies Smile We played the game and even won a ribbon in our squad Cool We saw gorgeous scenery and found some cool caches too Smile
While the total of 23 caches found Smile wasn't huge, the added fun of attending 2 regular events Smile and a Mega event Cool sure was huge! Big Grin
My 13,000th cache find happened too Cool along with a FTF on a Wherigo by the lovely Bushfire SurprisedCool

Getting to this cache had us all laughing! Big Grin I was a good girl and stood on the footbath with one foot, then stated that 'there's no water...where's the plastic tray that we have in SA[?]' Famous last words Red Face I then put my other foot on the plate and lo and behold.... water sprayed right up to my ankle SurprisedTwisted Considering I had mesh sandshoes on, I now had one very wet foot, sock and shoe!
Now what else could a true geocacher do but.... put the other foot on the plate and press down so that I had a matching pair [^]Wink
That's what made the others laugh so muchBig Grin I explained though that one cold, wet foot just didn't feel right so by having both the same, I could then ignore them both! Razz
When we arrived at GZ we loved the cache and the views [^]
A simple and fun field puzzle cache which is doable by all Cool
Loved the idea and love the area [^]Cool
This was the last cache that we did with TiedyeSmilies as Clare007 and I headed off to do some night caches which they had already done.

In the area for The Surf Coast Event 2016. After driving all afternoon we checked in to our accommodation and headed out to grab a few caches while we still had some light. T
This was one of the caches I earmarked prior to the weekend as it fulfilled part of a challenge.

Ahomburg found the first part. Dad (day1976) worked out that we needed to find something else. I found the something else and low and behold, our names were in the notebook. Thanks for the cache, one of my favourites and a cache I was talking about for the rest of the day.

As we were close by , it seemed a shame to leave the 2 unfound caches here without ticking them off our list. We made the interesting walk at dusk with a slight bit of colour in the sky for a sunset and a torch to help guide as to our quarry. At first we had no idea what we were actually trying to achieve but after finding the first part of the puzzle with some difficulty , we were the right onto the job.
Thanks Adrian & Ashleigh for bringing us down here to this great spot with awesome views and for the great cache.

Great views and the sun came out as we solved the mystery! Cool little mystery cache. Thanks.

Had a nice walk to here for checking out the paragliding launch. I've seen this nice mystery on the map, so a had a look to it. Found and solved it easily on scene. Logbook is wet...
No many visit in the last time...why???
Thanks for this one..

This was a 10 minute walk in from Parking Area 2. Found the trailhead easily enough and enjoyed the views from the launch site with no-one else around. Then it was onto finding this cache. Spotted the little quickly but big was resting easier. Opening was a smooth operation and we were surprised to see how long it had been since the last log. Hopefully this one gets a few more hits in November with the Surfcoast event. A fav from us for the view and different take on the container. TFTC

We like to squeeze a nice walk into our days - if time is too short for a long one, then a short walk will do. This one took us to stunning views. We keep reminding ourselves that we are really privileged to live within easy reach of so much of nature's beauty!
The cache and its offspring were quickly located and the necessary things brought together to unlock the treasure. A considerable amount of water had gathered in the suspended item, leading to rusty hands from handling it. We have tipped out the water, to allow it to dry out a bit.
Thank you for the cache and the brilliant views!

This was my 1st and only find of the day.
My friends convinced me to come down to the coast and chill with them for the night.
So I convinced them to come on an adventure with me.
Which myself and all of my 'muggle' friends thoroughly enjoyed.
I even got thanked later on.
Someone asked the group what their fav part of the day was, one person said the view at the lookout =D
So now I will thank you, for bringing me/us here! Great site and sights.
We had [bonus] fun at the shoe cleaning station on the way back to the cars.
Nice walk to and from GZ.
The cache itself was awesome and worth a fav point [added].
It has been on my to do list for a while.
All located nice and easily. Sweet as pie.
Photos were taken.
Took- nothing.

Out with Darth Briji and Na'wal to grab a few caches on the coast, there was a few laughs and entertainment to be had which made for a great night.
The closer we got to GZ we seemed to be go away from the cache, followed the path in with not a muggle or Paraglider in sight. Found part one as we approved GZ then part 2 seconds later.
Thanks for the cache Vicmap

Out on a late afternoon with alchey & Na'wal. There's nothing better than going caching with a couple of mates to keep one entertained with plenty of laughs & jokes at one's expense.

After deabting where we should park, we eventually started the trek to GZ. As alchey said, the closer we were suppose to be getting the further away it seemed. A quick find in the end and a great view too

Thanks VicMap for the cache

[red]Find #1932 Mystery #80 [/red] Big Grin

We were wondering the closest way to here and after parking the car the walk in started. We were starting to lose light but we had a spotlight in hand to help us out if we got stuck. We seemed to be getting further away before we got closer. As we soon zeroed in on GC we admired the view that the jumpers have from here were great. Never would have thought to come here if it wasn't for this hide. After we arrived at good co-ords, we soon had something that we needed and then had the main part very quickly. Stamped and returned as found. I love a cache with something different involved so a favourite from me [^]

Alchey, Darth Briji and myself found ourselves with a leave pass for the evening so what better way to use it with a caching trip in and around Torquay. A great night out collecting all sorts of hides. Plenty of fun and lots of laughs.

[blue]Thanks for this cache hide VicMap. Cache and log in good condition Smile TNLN [/blue]

Loved this cache, great view; great concept, had to wait almost 30 min for a meddling para glider to go away though.

23-Dec-14
Found with Sully1 before heading back home after 3 days down here, and before she hit the shops in Torquay. LOL
Loved the walk to this one, the magnificent views, and the cache itself.
We disturbed a young surfie and his dog sitting on the outcrop just being 'in the moment', so after quickly signing, we left him be. Half his luck!
Adding to the faves, cheers Vicmap

23-Dec-14
On our way home after a few days at Anglesea Bogonghazy and I stopped by here to tackle this one. On arrival at GZ we were greeted by a young chap and his dog, just sitting and taking in the magnificent views. With enough cover between he and the cache, we were able to retrieve this with him being none the wiser. Adding a fave for this one for a few reasons - the effort in the cache, the most enjoyable walk, and the beaut views from here. Thanks to VicMap for bringing us here today.

25-Aug-14
Gorgeous gorgeous view today! Not a soul in sight today but a few fresh tracks so the wind must have been right recently. Thanks for the excuse to get outdoors today, with amount of rain we had two days ago the somewhat dryer re-arranged camo helped for a quick find and sure enough cache was visited yesterday. Left Chomper the shark to continue his journey, not as close to the ocean as I found him but well at home with this view. TFTC

Another Sundays adventures and today's choosing was Torquay / Jan Juc area. Beatiful weather till late arvo where it started to shower- great day out on the coast, no dnfs!

Enjoyed the stroll here with the dog and took the bushbashy way to GZ going around the back- nice little spot in here, sheltered me from the rain a little. With GZ within 5m i put phone away, opened my eyes and soon had cache and tool in hand.

Thanks for bringing me to this nice little spot along the coast.

It was a lovely clear day today and we could easily see the Point Lonsdale lighthouse, Point Nepean and even Arthur's Seat off in the distance from the launch site.

After a short search at GZ we soon had part 1 in hand and part 2 wasn't far behind.

We didn't see anyone today so it was a lovely peaceful walk from the car. I think we'll definitely be back to explore these trails a little more - thanks for introducing the area to us. Maybe we'll even get lucky enough to see some paragliders next time.

The geokids were fascinated by the shoe washing apparatus we saw on the way in and were thrilled when they learned they would have the chance to use it on the way back out, though the smallest one ended up with a soaking wet shoe as he had to stomp down to get the plate to shift. Razz If only we all had that problem of being too light!

Thanks VicMap

Spectacular views today for this one with 5 young kids in toe. No major difficulties getting them there but had to a little careful close to GZ! Great hide, a fav point from us. Kids made a few swaps, I have no idea what in the end! TFTC.

It was a bit of a saga getting to this cache as we initially parked at Southside with the geofamily and hiked along Jarosite beach. No nudists out today; I presume it would have been far too cold for them! Anyway we got to within 180 metres of GZ, then realised it was up the top of a cliff! Not to worry, it was a lovely beach stroll anyway. Back to the car then drove to one of the waypoints, then decided to hike to the real GZ. What a lovely spot with fantastic views, and reasonably sheltered from the winds as well; it was so good we decided to have a picnic lunch there. Found the cache with no difficulties, and in excellent condition - once again I love a cache with a bit of effort put into the construction.
Then we heard voices nearby; fellow cachers? No - turns out it was a paraglider launching from right opposite GZ - we were treated to quite a show before we left. Definitely worth a favourite point for the views, the ingenuity of the cache, and the overall experience. TFTC.

Out and about in the area, thought I'd take my mountain bike with me, went for a bit of a ride and stopped in to have a look at this little issue, the cheap padlock and the salt breeze were no real match, I've used WD-40 to clean it up a bit, if it starts getting stuck again don't be afraid to log that it needs maintence again, if this doesn't fix it I may need to invest in a better lock.

Cheers Vicmap.

I guess you could say I have found my own cache, hehe

Cache is just due for a little bit of a WD-40 Treatment, would be lovely if the next person heading down could give it a quick oil, what needs oiling is rather obvious once you find GZ.

Cheers

A lovely afternoon for a stroll down to the beach. We enjoyed the walk along the tracks caching as we went. We are still afraid of what we may find lurking in the undergrowth. ! We saw a snake on the way to this cache!
What's great cache this is.it gets a favourite from us TFTC.

I have been meaning to do this cache for a while but today was the day after finding Postman's Revenge #4 in Torquay.
Parked at #2 suggested parking area and strolled in to the cache area with not a soul around. Not even a Echidna moved here today.
It is indeed a great area for a cache which was found without any problems and the means of gaining entry was also an easy find but may be a little harder for the next finder but not that hard.
Log was duly signed and replaced and I must agree with Dog Gone it may need a shot of WD4 shortly as the salt air is having an effect on the cache apparatus.
My family are some of those silly people who use their gear to fly around these beach area's and cause us cachers some grief sometimes.
Thanks for bringing me to this area again.

I'd read Suscoe's log and thought. Hmmm. I'd better check this one out.
Parked on the road and wandered in.
A highlight was finding an echidna on the walk in.
A minute or two at ground zero and I'd found all the requirements. The log signed and replaced. Retrieved a tb to move along.
There were no gliders in the area this day , but I think I may have to come again, because I can see what a great vantage point it is.
I do luv a home made cache . Well done. You might need to keep the WD40 up to it in this salt air though. Thanks for showing me this place. Cheers

Suscoe ventured down the track this morning to check this cache out and see what we could see!

A delightfully cloudy morning greeted us at the parking location and with a gentle southeaster keeping this cool we headed off.

Arrived at GZ to be surrounded by flying muggles about 50 metres up there. Figured out from the cache notes that the cache was unlikely to be up there with them so we set about the checking out process but with an air bourne observer it was pretty difficult to look stealthyWinkWinkWink.

The cache was located and then the other part of this puzzle was too.
All good and the log was soon in hand.
Log signed while the flying muggle continued to wander back and forth along the cliff line.

All made good then we stood for a while and watched them gently gliding back and forth, how cool is that.

Thanks to VicMap for this cache, a nice bit of engineering indeed! A favourite for the effort.

Found this one on a lovely walk with the family after grabbing Jarosite Snake Pit. Had to wait for a muggle family to finish enjoying the view before we could move in for the find. TFTC Vicmap & ashleigh.green we love the effort you put into the location and container. We left a WA Geocoin to continue its travels.

Our last day in Torquay for the moment and not exactly beach weather, so after packing up and heading to Moby for lunch, a bushwalk was in order. We parked at Southside and walked to the trail head from there. Then, it was a pleasant stroll down to GZ (and yes, juc_cacher, we did the right thing and used the footbath! [^]).
Geohubby and geoboys #1 and #2 wandered off to look at the spectacular view while the Geomonkey and I went in for the find. We approached our objective and I found part 1 while the Geomonkey found part 2 and between us we soon had the problem solved and the log signed. We then spent a minute putting this very well engineered cache back where it belonged before rounding up the boys and heading back up the track.
Thanks VicMap and ashleigh.green for showing us this spectacular spot! Big Grin

What a fantastic cache. A great walk in to find a very well constructed two part cache. The views from near GZ are fantastic but I was lucky to dodge the sporadic showers today. However, please be aware that the walking track in is very slippery when wet. A favourite for me in access, location and execution. Thanks very much to VicMap for a great cache and for getting me out along that walking track.

Decided that since I was already out this way walking around id have a look at where the cache had been placed and have a look at the view in person. Noticed the lock is starting to get rusty but that's expected if it's going to be placed right above the beach. But other than that everything was good.

In the area. Thought I'd do some maintence. Great day for the view and the walk anyway. Great excuse to come down and enjoy the view. All is in check

Had a great time finding this cache....what an awesome spot. Great admiration for the paragliders, don't think I'd have the guts to throw myself off a cliff like that

Beautiful day for a stroll to GZ, and thanks for the great view!
Bit of a bush bash to locate the cache, so that's not good for the area given the instruction to keep to the tracks, so maybe the cache could be moved closer to the ramp. TNLN. TFTC

Found it! The walk out was easier than the scamble in! Great fun to have to unlock the cache. TFTC.

Found this very impressive cache after a large breakfast at a café in Torquay.

Geoson and Geodaughter had been here once before to collect the cache "The View" and when Geoson saw there was a new cache here we were excited. It was even more exciting as it was a mystery (we're trying to collect more little blue question marks).
Anyway we enjoyed our walk to the area and arrived at GZ when we were confronted with how to get in. We really think that the terrain rating should be bumped up a little bit all though we did go in one of the more difficult ways.

Finding the cache was a real team effort- Geodad got us into the right area, Geoson found the actual container, Geodaughter found the extra part and Geomum stood as lookout (without being in the bushes Wink.

We managed to open the cache and signed the log book. Then we began the great dilemma of trying to put the lid back on so it lined up right. The others had abandoned Geoson to do it but he called them back and the cache was closed properly again. We replaced it and left the tangle of bush. We grabbed the TB while we were there.

Congratulations to Vicmap and aseligh_green for the cache. It has quite impressive workmanship. I'm not going to promise anything but I think you can expect another fav point.
