I realised that I had a calendar gap for the 2nd, but being a bit under the weather looked for a straight-forward cache to find. I had no trouble finding the cache but it took an inordniate amount of fiddling about to extract it from it's home. I'm still not sure how I managed it. Anyway, log signed and gap filled.
Thanks genghicat for the cache.

Third go trying to find this one! Not too hard, just only had a couple of minutes the first couple of goes...good spot for it, TFTC!
Found 10:05 pm. Well I wanted to still continue my streak by finding a cache for the day even if it was cold out. This cache would be fairly easy hopefully and another nearby came up on the radar so decided to come out here and find this. Parked the geovehicle near GZ and walked over. Started my search and luckily almost the first place I looked and felt I found it but I had some trouble extracting it. Finally got it, signed the log and returned it back to where the magnet was.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
A nice quick find tonight but had to rule out a couple of hiding spots first. Thanks genghicat
# 1583 came back tonight on the way home to have another look for a nearby cache, boeyed by the fact it was found last night. I couldn't find it again.
On the drive home I stopped here and made a quick find. Took a bit to get the cache out.

I was heading home from somewhere on 23 March (sorry for late log - got a bit behind, just having a logging catch up) and I took a detour past this way to drop something off to my daughter who lives in Watson, but she wasn't home, so seeing I couldn't spend a while visiting her, I decided to find a couple caches nearby instead
There were a few muggles coming and going, but I managed to sneak my looking in between them ... had a look in the logical place but didn't find it, had a bit of a look around to see if there were any other places something could be hiding and found none, so I had another look in the logical place and there it was after all - lol
TFTC - would be tempting to make use of the free busses tomorrow (that weird ACT public service holiday, which I am not complaining about because it means I have the day off to find all the rest of these, but with the Saturday timetable I am not sure I want to even try and plan something like that (and I have other things to do/places to be) - I wonder if anyone has done the whole series by bus? lol (I don't even know how many there are, just remember finding one or 2 others, on the other side of town)
Took Nothing, Left a couple of temporary tattoos.

A cache to fill a gap in our geo-calendar. Enzo spotted this well-hidden cache after we had checked pretty much everywhere. Saturday afternoon was a nice quiet time to attempt this one, which we were doing after a few beers at Ainslie. Now home for a nap! TNLNSL TFTC
# 11289 Found on our 2015 Winter escape trip.
Our first port of call is Canberra and surrounds.
I had a fine afternoon roaming around finding caches.
After the DNF's I was dubious, but it was an easy find, just difficult to extract.
Thanks for the cache genghicat,

This completes the last in the series for us (though we think one has gone) today. Also the one with a bus which had to be waved away and looks from passing residents.
Couldnt come to Canberra to see Genghicat without doing some of his caches.

Cache was very hard to access. Hope its a bit easier for the next cacher. TFTC genghicat.
Found this strongly attached cache and used a geotool from the car to retrieve it. This one sure won't be muggled easily.
Geomum had to retrieve the cache as it was too strong for me, but I put it back fine. TFTC!
Easy enough to find. Very strong hard drive magnet securing it in place! TFTC.
Visited last night and retrieved the container from where it had fallen. Placed it correctly. All good to go again.
Confirmed that the cache is still there - its just a little out of reach without a long bendy tool (about 20cm from the opening). Didn't have anything to retrieve it today, so will pop back next week with something and move it back to where it usually lives.
i have found this cache before getting my account but went back today and wasn't there
Second visit here (last time it was missing) and another DNF. We shone torches in holes and checked with a mirror. We could see a long way in, but nothing. We felt in with sticks...nothing. We checked under the seat...nothing. We looked for other hides...nothing.
Elementary my dear Watson! Having done a handful of these before, I went straight to the cache. Took a bit of force to disengage the magnet, and I made a leap of faith that there were no spiders in residence, but apart from that, extracted easily enough.
Thanks genghicat!
Thanks genghicat!
Out for the afternoon with JLT. Found the cache but couldn't retrieve it. Neither of us had small enough hands.
Cache is strongly attached but out of reach from my finger tips - a tool of some sort of small geohands is needed
A little more challenging to find this but eventually managed to discover its hiding spot. Thanks GC for the hunt.
After spending half an hour discreetly looking for it last Sunday but not coming up with anything other than a QR code, I resorted to asking tripperOutThere to show me what exactly to look for. I thought I had scoured every inch of that bus stop, but I hadn't even considered looking at where it turned out to be. I guess the more caches I find (and have shown to me ), the better I'll be at knowing what to look for. TFTC!
Today is a nice day, and I'm crook - I'm off work with a nasty cold. However, I've got to go to Physio for my bad back, so I'm doing some park and grabs with short walks attached sometimes, if I feel healthy enough for it. The GeoSchnauzers are looking appealingly at me as I pack my small Geocaching kit. Bad luck, GeoSchnauzers!!! I've left home to the sound of loud disapproval. They'll be pleased to see me when I get back, dogs are very forgiving.
At the start of today, I'm on 648, in my quest for 1000 by 20 September, the end of my first full year.. This is number 13 of 13 I found today. . Once I got started, I didn't want to stop.
This was a quick park and grab. TFTC!!!

The night's accommodation was pre-booked with family, so there was time to catch a few local caches during the afternoon. There was sporting action in the park and a great deal of noise caused by a worker attempting to realign the fallen oak leaves with his leaf blower. Apparently we were completely invisible while 'waiting' for the bus.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to genghicat for the hunt.

I'm glad it was a Sunday with few people around and no one waiting for a bus as, to a muggle witness, I would have looked weird crawling around that shelter. However, the cache was soon found, the log signed and I was on my way.
Nice one, thanks genghicat.

It was late when I passed this place so I was fortunate to have the scene to myself for most of the time. Perhaps not quite to myself - there were a couple of large red-back spiders seated, and a very large black spider in the window. They were not much help, they gave me no pointers as to where the cache was residing. When I eventually found it I was tending to think one of them was may well have been trying to scare me away from the cache.
Saw the red backed style of local resident before using a long pen to extract the cache! !!
Found on a rainy summers day. On our way to one of the puzzles that we solved, we saw that this was on the way. So with no one around, we decided to park in front of the stop to get this one. Found the munzee first, then it took another minute to find it. Nicely hidden. TFTC genghicat!
Arrrr these are nearly always in the same place, but I always have so much trouble finding these little gems. It took Wasptor to walk up and locate it in 3 sec!!! grrrrr. oh well located and signed, another one off the list. TFTC
It seems that bus stop seats are a favourite place for redback spiders... Maybe they're trying to catch travel bugs...? Anywho, another cache in this series found and signed. Thanks for the cache!
Once again out for cache trying up get the toddler to sleep. Missed this the first time but managed in the near dark to shine a light on the cache. Thanks.
We had just finished at at 21st nearby so made a quick stop on the way home to grab this one. So and I did the searching and we came up with the cache pretty quickly. TFTC
have been past here numerous times without time to stop. Then had a quick look on Sunday on my way home from training, but didn't find it. My coordinates where slightly out, but I still checked -not well enough- where I expected it.
Did ask a fellow cacher last night and it turned out I had been on the right track, just didn't look properly.
Stopped briefly today and managed to retrieve the cache and write in the logbook.
Thanks for the cache,
isopeda

Took the opportunity this morning to head over northside for a bit of urban caching and found the culprit where expected.
Thanks go to Sol de Lune for stopping long enough for me to jump out and nab the cache! And thanks too genghicat!
A shaded bus stop is a fine place to sit on a hot day, and be 'shaded' from the local builders as well
7584. [green]A quick stop and wasn't disappointed to find this one in the first spot I tried - no telling when a bus could turn up in peak half hour. [/green]

Found on the way to the gym this morning. Much more fun than running on a treadmill. LOL

Picked up today with GrimRaider after a walk with the geohounds. Nice and quiet here today. My son used to play a lot of cricket on this oval and I spent many afternoons watching the cricket, scoring and snoozing. Love this area TFTC
Found @ 6:40pm with hccatcher11415
Another quick find in the series although I did have trouble replacing the cache after dropping it inside its hide. Once that was fixed, we were on our way to the next cache.
Thanks genghicat

Ah! Second time lucky! I know I looked there last time, but this time it was there. How very nice of it! Thanks genghicat!
#1068 - 17:45; A quick 'bus' by on the way home to keep the current min i streak alive and hopefull one day to grow into a major streak! I had to use the backpack as cover from some junior muggles waiting out of the rain for the next bus, which I also caugth to complete the homeward leg of this journey. TFTC genghicat
On the way back to the space event we stopped past here and managed to poke an arm up into the cache location. No bus came while we looked and we were soon back at the event. Thanks.

Another find in this fun little series before heading to the nearby Space event. Made like a bus for a couple of minutes while the job was completed.
Thanks for another one genchicat.

2665. Another nightmare retrieval of a Take ACTION cache. I found it OK, but my efforts of retrieval caused the container to vanish. So after a bit of improvisation, the container was retrieved, log signed and everything returned.
