Logs
My first solo caching trip. A long one down the entire length of the Sturt Highway. TFTC
Spending a few days in Renmark and spending some time caching as well. Quick find. TFTC
Found while heading out to Renmark and surrounds to do some caching along the Wandering Hero's Series and to see what other interesting sights we can find. TFTC
If the Victorians had there way again, this would be in SA.Heading from Hay to Port Augusta today. Stopped here to eat our last mango.honeysucker, I found What State am I in now 3 today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Travelling from Renmark to Mildura today and caching along the highway and roads. Found the cache and signed the log. TFTC
Today saw us firstly finding a few caches around Renmark before we headed east to Mildura - our next port of call as we make our way from Adelaide to Canberra. Also collected most of the caches along the Sturt Highway. Thanks to the COs for the placement of the caches - it is much appreciated.
Sitting around discussing puzzles and D/T and LGA and I realised that there was a D/T nearby we needed to help us along to our 9th loop. I discussed with M the possibility of a late afternoon excursion since it was less than 1/2 an hour away but then Wollaston realised he needed it too. HansandLinda are always keen to find just a few more so I left M behind and we headed out in Wollastons' vehicle to grab just a few more finds for the day. Thanks for find #5768TNLN
After a week of caching around Adelaide incorporating The Great Leap Forward event, HansandLinda, MeandDe and I are working our way towards Canberra for the Easter Capital GeoBash Mega. At Paringa for a couple of days of rest and maintenance although we did have a couple of targeted caches at MacCabes Corner today. After a great day, we settled in for sundown drinks and nibbles which is always enjoyable at the end of a good day, only it turns out it wasnt the end a caching for the day. Diligent Deana discovered a sought after D/T rating along the SA/Vic border trail. Luckily, I was enjoying another AFD, so a tad before 1900hrs, 3 of us made the dash. It was never going to be a quick trip as there were about a dozen other caches on route. We grabbed this one along the way. Another great day for caching. TFTC honeysucker
Continuing on with my South Australian caching tour and the mad collection of caches in the state. I am again part of the BOLD 7 team doing the mad assault on as many caches as we can. We tested out the MG yesterday and dirtied her up, she handled it well. Today it is to finish off the mayhem of the On your bike series and the few in the area as we pass. It may be a late night back as the plan is to also grab a cache or two on the way to Remark before heading back home. There is so much to do and in such close proximity, I am going to have to come back again. Just need to make sure we stop for food and fuel, must have happy campers for the travels. Am loving the area and the countryside, will have to come back at a different time and experience this state. Along the way we grabbed a few oldies, caches yes and a few that were just there for the fun, oh and the occasional multi, lol. Thanks for setting up these caches and maintaining them. All caches were signed as BOLD 7 and replaced as found. The generic log signing is to save log replacements.
Out and about collecting more smilies. Signed with Leap mega team nickname BOLD7. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.
This is the last Victorian cache collected before re-entering South Aust. Seeing all the signs about fruit fly and other vermin control, the few pieces of fruit were consumed while sitting at this cache. Log signed as BOLD07.With the fruit taking care of, wasn't sure if Qlders would be considered vermin (in either state). Living on the edge we pointed the car west to see what the authorities would adjudicate. This is the second of the CO's caches collected and thanks for this brief Vic stopover.
GC4PD25 What State am I in now 3A group of us are down from Darwin and Brisbane in preparation of the leap year event.Today was day 2 of hitting the bikes and heading east. To save space in the logs signed as the BOLD7. Was meant to be BDLD7 but something got lost in translation.I have had a great time caching down here and will need to return with the family to explore the area (& caches) some more.TFTC honeysucker
With our group BOLD7 entertaining ourselves as we head north to explore the country. Fab day collecting bikes and other menagerie! . Thanks to the SA cachers for awesome variety of caches. Second day of frolics! A tad cooler!
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday.
On our way from Werrimull VIC to Sedan SA we pick up a couple of caches on the way and this was one of them. TFTC honeysucker
TFTC honeysucker your cache What State am I in now 3 that we found today. After spending the last 3 weeks in and around Shepparton we are now on the move , heading to Yorke Peninsula. We decided to try for three states in one day on our way home (NSW) from Adelaide so couldn't pass up a cache on the border, we had already found on in SA and had another planned in Vic so this was an added bonus to cover both states. We took a couple of photos at the border signs with the caravan also. Thanks for the hide honeysucker.

Possibly the last for the day. I'm working in the area and got out for explorations. TFTC
A geocaching holiday taking in SA and Vic. As the weather turned sour down south, we headed north for some sun. So of course geocaching targets change too.
Nice to get back out here and enjoy this beautiful area. Love the mallee.
Thanks honeysucker for placing for all to enjoy. Cache in good condition.

Having already done 3 states in 1 day, I'm ok with whatever state it is. All in good order. Thanks for the cache
A good question, indeed. Plan I found one of the other ones, I got a souvenir because it was the first one in the state I found, so it told me. No such luck with this one TFTC.
Love the idea of standing in 2 states at the same time. Glad I decided to stop and collect this one. Tftc
Quick find here today with Deefa71 on a long drive from Broken Hill to Renmark
Greetings from Perth. Tftc

Day 1 of trip to Melbourne for my niece wedding on Saturday. Return home next week via Great Ocean Road. Tftc
Had no problem in finding this cache. The log was signed and all was replaced as found. TFTC.
This long weekend, I and J plus the little one visited riverland. We spent two and a half days, visited Nuriootpa, Barmera, Berri, Loxton, Renmark, SA/VIC border, Waikerie, Morgan, and nearby towns. On the trip, we found 54 caches on the way, including Traditional Cache, Puzzle Cache, Multi Cache, Wherigo Cache, Letterbox Hybrid Cache, and Lab Adventure caches.
This was the 35th find for the trip, after a nearby Victorian cache.
With the help of hint, cache has been found easily. Signed the log sheet, and placed it back.
Thanks for the cache, honeysucker.

Found with Peckman2008. Almost rumbled by muggles that stopped to eat all their fruit!
Stopped to take photos of the border signs and happy to discover that a cache was nearby. Thanks for putting a cache here.
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
We have joined forces with FelixII so we are off to see what we can find today, we are confused, are we in VIC or SA?
Thanks to all the COs for taking us on our geo-guided tour.

Travelling with SpidermonkeysMum and CPwanderer for the weekend. Our goal being the tri-state events and whatever caches we can also find along the way.
After breakfast at Berri and lunch at Wentworth we headed back to Victoria for the next event (with some stops for caches and Adventure Labs along the way).
This was one of the caches that we found on our journey.

Big weekend on the road! Overnighted in mega town (Murray bridge) after chasing some large caches for a challenge I have been working on for many years. Also made it to 4000 cache finds
Picked up CPWanderer and gizmos gang bright and early to get to Berri fir Brekky, Wentworth for lunch and back to Mildura for dinner. Then another Brekky and a cito the following day. Well that’s the plan anyway.
We are picking up whatever caches we can on the way, over 300 to chose from the CP hasn’t found and probably the odd one he has (that doesn’t include the PS series) which will have to wait to return for.
Apologies for the generic log, but where possible I will return to add a comment.
Thank you for placing it for us to find. Thank you for contributing to the geo map and maintaining when required. TFTC

After a friendly welcome at the first event we buzzed off with a couple of bees and went on the prowl with some cool cats ro find a few more caches on the way to the next event.
Finished the off road adventure with this nice easy find. Now off to another event, in another state. TFTC

The weather is shocking this arvo and I am doing 3 states in 2 hours. Thus is the first if the 3.
All good things come to an end.. And so did our month long road trip through SA and the NT. We found this one while on our long way home from the Flinders to Melbourne and after taking the usual selfie at the Welcome to VIC sign. Cache was a quick find, TFTC!
Staying in Renmark for a short holiday, using caching as a guide as to where we travel. 41 caches were found along and around the state border. This cache is one that was found today.
A quick find on our way past. Cache found, log signed and replaced. All good here.
Find #4267 on 18 Jul 2022.

I know I am in a state of delirium standing in whichever state we are in, and to state a fact, I don't care which state it is, as long as it is a state of Australia and I am standing in that state with dalerious in a state of delirium. Oh, and by the way, I am just stating a fact . Cache found and log signed with dalerious .
Thank you honeysucker.
The Trip
We talked about planning this odyssey months ago, but put the finishing touches to the plan in the last couple of weeks.
We were hoping to undertake two challenges. One was to log a cache in as many counties in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales as we possibly could, as well as logging caches that were placed on the pages of the UBD Victorian Road Atlas as well.
dalerious got to work strategically picking caches that we needed. No easy task, but he is so adept at it. I get the car and supplies ready, and drive.
We had only 2 full days to do all this in, as well as an event to attend to in Mildura.
Quite an ask, but yet again dalerious and I not only marked of all the caches we had on our list, but we were lucky enough to add more.
We had an awesome time away travelling around hop, skipping and jumping from one state to the next. With the exception of hitting one Kangaroo, no damage to the Hilux or us thank goodness, I loved driving around this beautiful area.
Next big trip Tasmania........ Bring it on!
Thank you honeysucker.

I got so excited solving the nearby mystery cache I forgot to grab this cache So after finding the Mystery cache I returned to find this one, winning
After a most relaxing couple of days on the Proud Mary cruising on the river, it was time to track down some caches. But first an overnight stay in Karoonda to recharge for an early start and then head off on another adventure.
The plan is to grab caches in the last few LGA for me to complete that challenge.

A quick stop and find on my way to Adelaide and back for the weekend. TFTC.

We are finally able to travel interstate without heaps of loops to jump through. We thought we would take it easy and have a look around South Australia and grab a few more LGA's while we were here.
We are staying in Renmark for a couple of Day and thought we would pop out to the border to grab a Victorian cache. We parked to get a photo at the border sign and then I went over to grab this one. I didn't see it first up but I reached down to shift some rocks at the base of the pole and my hand brushed against something. I looked to see what it was and it turned out to be the cache. How did I miss that.
This was find number 1 for the day.

A quick find with frmen1. Took the obligatory photos and sent onto the family to let them know where we were. TFTC
The sign says it all! SA here we come - here we are but have a cache to find before moving on! A long time coming with plans sabotaged often during Covid times and border closures. The multi mission includes a few golden oldies and some of those ‘just the right distance from home base caches ie far away ones! TFTC AND THE FUN

As we headed east and considering we were about to head south on the border track, we were a bit surprised to find the cache so far west .

So glad it wasn't north , else we would have had to backtrack [B)]!
