Unable to find - no response to a number of DNFs and a NM from CO who has been inactive since 2016
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Thursday. Mrs Slow Puncture was out with a muggle friend today at Ewen Dam to pick up some previously solved puzzles and maybe some trads.
We saw this cache was just down the road. With some recent DNFs to it, plus the thought of seeing some more of the local territory, we thought we would give this cache a crack to see if we could find it. We took in the view, looked in, around and under some places, then climbed down to see if anything showed itself, but not for us today.
This was the only DNF we had on this trip.
Thanks ***mozzafamily***, for showing us this place anyway, hopefully you can look into it and we will be back!

There have been a number of DNFs on this cache since the last find (not including the find that states it wasn't found...!). The CO doesn't seem to have been active for a while but they either need to check on it or the hide needs to be zapped from the system.
We have to add to the list of recent DNFs. We found a couple of cracking hiding spots but all were empty. It might have been that we saw some recent DNFs and didn't go our hardest but we were more interested in the sign at the start of the street feeling us to not trust our GPS. It points to a "No Through Road" sign. The geoapp and car GPS says the road continues through but it doesn't. Even though I suspected the road ends I still had to prove it to myself. What a sucker.
After searching high and low for 40 minutes in all the "obvious and not" hiding places .... zilcha !! There is a sign at Nobles road entrance saying " do not go off GPS" ????? Maybe after 5 months it's gone MIA???
Spent 10 minutes searching the obvious places. No sign of the cache but plenty of signs that cachers have been searching. After 4 months without a log I think that it has gone. Great view thought.
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.
Parko's, seirra1 and I were out driving and caching on this very wet Australia Day when we stopped here to check out the view. The rain stopped for a short time and we took advantage of the change in weather to look for the cache. We found it and all signed the log. Thanks for placing the cache mozzafamily.
We were out and about with us3scouts and seirra1 picking up some local caches on a wet and miserable Australia Day.
After a short search, us3scouts' eagle eyes had this one found

This day in History
Wednesday, January 2, 1822. : A penal settlement is established at Macquarie Harbour on the remote west coast of Van Diemen's Land.
Tasmania was first discovered by Dutch trader Abel Tasman in November 1642. Tasman discovered the previously unknown island on his voyage past the "Great South Land", which he later called "New Holland". He named the island "Antony Van Diemen's Land" in honour of the High Magistrate, or Governor-General of Batavia.
After the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788, Captain Arthur Phillip claimed the entire eastern coast for the British Empire, including Tasmania, though it was not yet known to be separate from the mainland. In January 1799 Bass and Flinders completed their circumnavigation of Tasmania, proving it to be an island. In order to offset continuing French interests in southern parts of Australia, Lieutenant John Gordon Bowen was sent to establish the first British settlement at Risdon Cove in Van Diemen's Land in 1803. Lieutenant-Governor David Collins moved the settlement to Sullivans Cove, which was later renamed Hobart Town, on the Derwent River in 1804. In the same year, the British Government appointed Lieutenant-Colonel William Paterson as Lieutenant Governor of Van Diemen's Land and instructed him to form a settlement at Port Dalrymple in the north of the island.
Van Diemen’s Land was valued for its remoteness from the mainland, and another penal colony was proposed for the west coast. On 2 January 1922, a secondary penal colony was established on Sarah Island in Macquarie Harbour. It housed the worst convicts and those who had escaped from other settlements in a mountain wilderness which was only accessed through a treacherous narrow channel called Hell’s Gates, in which many a boat carrying convicts floundered. Convicts were treated harshly, chained while they logged the local Huon Pine and rafted it downstream. Others worked in the local shipbuilding industry. Those requiring solitary confinement were sent to nearby Grummet Island for a given period of time. However, by 1829, the settlement had become much less harsh, as convicts responded to a reward system that enabled them to develop other useful skills and trades.
The Macquarie Harbour settlement operated for eleven years, from 1822 until 1833, with approximately 1,150 male and 30 female prisoners serving time. In 1833, the penal settlement was moved to Port Arthur on the Tasman Peninsula in the south.

Lovey Spot with a nice quick find. Was interesting to see the infrastructure on the opposite side of the road.
Wow! What a lovely place. I thought I had been over a lot of the back roads in this area but this was a first. Thanks mozzafamily. Log signed and returned safely.
Found with Mum & Dad (jasenjanine) while on holiday here after the QLD Mega .. TFTC
Back in our most favourite part of the world, we spent Day 12 of our holiday visiting some special places… And of course finding few caches along the way
Having a great drive through the area this cache was found quickly, after walking (or perhaps sliding) too far past the cache
Thanks mozzafamily [^]

Heading up the coast for a few days to do some caching. I have a few puzzles solved, a few field puzzles to attempt and plenty of other caches to keep me amused.
As usual caching has brought me to a lovely little spot that I would never have found other wise.
A quick squizz at the view on either side before finding the cache. A nice quick find, and not a muggle in sight

Today, I decided to grab a few caches around Mooloolah. This one sounded like fun, so I had to have a go.
The second last cache on my to-do list, today.
I walked up to the lookout platform and admired the amazing views. Now, there is a cache nearby and it certainly can't be down THERE?!
Using my mediocre eyesight, I spotted a recognisable container trying to hide from me, only a few metres away. Too easy! I did a short downhill descent and grabbed the well-guarded cache.
Took the $1 plastic coin and Aussie keyring, left a blue pencil sharpener and green car.

Thought I'd divert from my journey slightly & grab this cache while I was in the area.
Found a safe spot to park, back across the street, a quick admire of the view down the valley then on to business.
Lovely big ant hill but the residents didn't seem to mind my presence. A quick scout of the area soon had the cache in hand.
Love the guardian! TNLNSL.
Discovered 'discoverable' card.

Nice quick find.. It was so quiet here.. I decided to stay and have a bite to eat.. So did the march fly that was stalking me.
You gave me a bit of a fright with the container. didn't notice until it was in my hand.. lol.

Rain about today, but we still headed out to grab a few caches in nearby towns.
Views were limited, due to rain and cloud cover. Still awesome just the same.
Cache found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, mozzafamily, for us and others to find.

Seeing as it was fathers day, I decided to take mum and dad for a little bush walk along the trail surrounding ewen maddock. We grabbed this one on the way back home. Upon reaching the GZ mr garmin said that i was about 2m out. The cache was spotted and quickly recovered. TFTC. Awesome view.
After a false start we found it in a more early accessible spot than we thought. Bring a pen and watch out for spiders!
Found this one nice and easy on the way home from a FTF race that I didn't win TFTC.
I was on my way to Mooloolah and noticed this cache come up on the map.
So you know what happened next, I hit the 'Navigate to' button. Once I was at GZ I took a moment to admire the view and then went to do what I was there for. The cache was a nice and easy find but the guardian caught me off guard causing me to have a bit of a chuckle to myself.
I was even lucky enough to find the TB: 'Wandering Lizard' - http://coord.info/TB3E3WD inside. I picked up the little fella and will take him on a bit of a trip soon.
Thanks for the cache 'mossafamily'. The cache is in good order.

Visited Nobles Road today which should have been a quiet gravel road only to find it being regraded by a team of about twenty men who decided to take their smoko about 60 meters from GZ. Needed super stealth mode to find this one so had plenty of time to look at the great views. Left TB (Wandering Lizard) to continue its journey. TFTC
First find of the day, arachnophobic geodad unimpressed with guardian. Also, watch out for big black ants.
Enjoyed cruising around the countryside today avoiding the Easter traffic. Lovely clear day to enjoy the view. Geoson did the honours of retrieval today, not sure who got the bigger fright though, geoson or the cache guardian. TFTC
Found at 1204 with Marg. Found after a spot of mountain climbing and ant avoidance. TFTC.
We were pleased to head off the main road to find this one as there was road works causing a traffic jam. We headed off and made our way to GZ. where Marco made a quick find and then disturbed a huge ants nest! TNLNSL TFTC
I was part of Pprime's MEG#10 today, and although it rained pretty much most of the day, I had a grand time. I was able to tag along in ruzzelz's car along with Hiltonclan.
The day was officially over but the three of us had a couple more to grab before we headed back to Brisbane. A very large ants nest on the ground cramped my style here but ruzzelz soon spotted the well hidden container. Couldn't see much of the view because of the clouds. TFTC, mozzafamily.

Quite an excellent view of power lines from this "lookout", to be sure! Given the terrain, we sent one cacher to retrieve it from what seemed to be the obvious spot, which worked a treat. TFTC, mozzafamily. =^.^=
Mobbed by MEG#9, me with about a dozen others. What is MEG? Amongst a few 2013 GEOGoals I've set myself, one I have dubbed Mission Empty Glass (MEG for short). This involves tackling all caches I've not already found in an area I've defined loosely as 'The Glasshouse Mountains'. Every multi, every micro, every mystery, every mountain and everything in between. There are a lot so the mission has been done in stages, and I like having friends join the fun with me. MEG#9 represents the last of the walking ones with all available Mountains now conquered. Nearly done now. Did I say walking? Well this section of the day was in cars, and up along here we trundled and parked before a short search revealed what we came for. Interesting view - home among the electricity poles - but pretty beyond that.
Thanks for placing this cache, mozzafamily. Mobbed in good condition.

Part of MEG #9 Road trip to join in with the journey of P’primes 2013 mission. Started at 7am as a group of 14, unsure how many continued to the end (I left at noon).
Nice long and flat walks today, nice chats getting to know some familiar names, some I had meet before and some I meet for the first time today.
Came across some great caches today. Thanks P’prime for allowing us to join in on your adventures.

Well, Got to GZ and found the cache enjoying the views also and then I heard a car. I ducked down and finished signing the log and rehid as the car slowed and moved on and just as I was crossing the road he came back and stopped to talk to me. I told him I was photographing the view.
He asked me home for a cup of tea. I kinda felt sorry for him as he was elderly and so I went and we had a lovely cuppa. Talk about meeting the locals when you are caching.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks mozzafamily All good with this cache
I get more than I bargain for at your caches. Where are you sending me next. Perhaps you better put one outside Buckingham Palace, I might get a cuppa there.

Already found 15 today on day off with J breaking the last record, picked up A from school and just passing by on the way to Mooloolah for grocery shopping when much to A's disgust, I couldn't resist dropping in to try for one more as it was so close. What a great view! Just up the road from home and we didn't even know... Parked across the road and enjoyed the view from the lookout, then noticed a little snake a few cms from my foot - maybe it was having a look at the view too? It vanished when I took a photo of it, very well camouflaged. A quick duck down the slope and retrieved the cache, no troubles. Like the spider. Yay - new record - 16 in one day! #405 @ 1530. Miss Geo and I took a little drive through Mooloolah to find this little baby.
We pulled up about 4 metres from GZ and when we got out of the Geovan we were greeting with a magnificent view.
Now, I spotted a likely hide from the lookout. I started down the the rocky incline and thinking to myself don't slip Wesso, don't slip............because if I slipped I wouldn't stop rolling till I it the bottom. [:o)]
I scrambled over to where I thought the cache was, and bingo, a nice quick find. I signed the log before replacing the cache as I found it. [^]
I finally reached the safety of the lookout again, going up was easier than going down, for this old back

*FTF* Yay! Our second ever!
We heard the familiar 'ding' of our iPhones while watching Heston cook up some crazy creations. Out the door we go!
After a windy drive through what I'm sure is picturesque countryside during daylight hours, we arrived at GZ. Thank goodness for our torches, otherwise we would have really discovered the 2.5* terrain quickly!
We started looking with Ant87 in some likely spots before coming up with the goods - and a 'friendly' little cache companion!!!
Looking forward to seeing this beautiful spot during the daytime. Tftc Mozza Family!
