Oh THAT rock!
Found this on a lovely sunny day at the Catalina festival. Some lovely muggles nearby had spotted the Bowerbirds make their find so were having a delightful time watching us and giving us hints.

After spending the night with friends on the Central Coast, my plan was heading North to target a few Challenge Caches for which I had qualified. Then there were some solved puzzles from the Geomuster I hadn’t picked up back then.
Finished with some nearby grabs before heading home.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Final find for the day and I decided on this one. I realised I signed this cache during the Mega weekend earlier in the year, but somehow managed not to log it.
So a nice quick re-find, signed again, and replaced. And this time I’m actually logging it online!
Time to head home.

Quick find from nearby picnic. Good one since we were introducing friends to caching fun before Christmas light looking. TFTC
Came to NSW from Melbourne for holidays, lovely place to visit. Beautiful weather today for me to catch up some caches around here. Found it. Thanks jonignite for placing the cache.
I was positive that we found this one during the Geomuster, but in hindsight there was a geomuster activity clue here. I love the history of this site! Tftc #67
Very pleasant this morning-place was deserted except for some bowlers playing nearby. TFTC

Given the heads-up traffic was heavy through Morisset, made a few stops after the Mega’s farewell event to give it time to clear. Unfortunately, the crawl wasn’t just cachers checking out of the showground and the holiday Monday traffic made what should have been a 90 minute trip closer to 4 hours!
Found it with Crank1, Everlasting, Dranyer, skyejam & sevabo during "OZ Geo Muster 2018" at Morisset.
It has been pleasure to meet people here.
Logged as Deaf Group.
After this, we went to Mega event, saw the fireworks.
Thanks jonignite for bringing us here.

Seem to always be bumping into my ACT bretheren - arrived for the nearby lab cache and there's about a dozen of us. Makes short work of finding the traditional though.

Found with baby&Mrs gopher and Muggle Hubby in between finding lab caches from the OZGeomuster, which brought us to the nearby memorial, and to the lovely view of the coastline nearby.
Thanks for the very interesting history in the description also.
Looking at the area now it is hard to imagine what a hive of activity was happening back then. It is hoped the historical hangar can be built to house more visual artifacts.
Thankyou also for the cache you have placed here for our entertainment.

Out and about for the Oz Geomuster grabbed this cache with Contactpete, deep_99, ris768 and geopuppies.
Down for the Mega with Karicka and picking up the last lab cache. This was very close so made the quick find after being pointed in the right direction by the Pokemon hunters at GZ.
Found It!
By the time I got here, the pokemon players at GZ seemed pretty used to geocachers arriving as asking where the cache is! Thanks guys!

Team Capital Crunchers decided to do a loop around Lake Macquarie today picking up highly favourtied, P&G with views and caches near the Mega's lab caches. Cool cache that hadn't been on our list but we just had to add it to our day's count. TFTC
A long tiring day today as we drove right around the beautiful lake grabbing a variety of caches and enjoying the beautiful views. Thanks to ACTChil, Darzee Di, GrimRaider, Joolay and Kittykatch for your company and fun times as we travelled around together as Capital Crunchers.

Out and about in the jolly good company of fellow Victorians - Maccamob, Nurse Hayley, Pprass, PoiterH and Team Crackers. Our mission was to locate the LAB caches and identify the codeword needed to claim a find on the 10 special caches released for the Geo Muster Lake Mac 2018.
Along the way we were able to make some quick detours for caches such as this one.
Thanks 'jonignite' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

This was a very popular spot over the weekend, and not because all the geocachers attending the Oz GeoMuster were Geocaching Australia players, but because the nearby trig had information for a Lab cache. When No_Tomorrow and I turned up we could see people up near the memorial. Turns out it was a wedding. Up goes a cheer! They've said "I Do". We were then approached by a lady asking, in a whisper, if we were looking for the geocache at which point she indicates it's "just under that rock". We decide to stay away from the wedding party for now and leave them to it. Got to the trig, another cheer! They've signed their documents. On our way back up the hill to grab the cache we ended up having a chat with the group behind the wedding - they're not dressed for the event but we couldn't work out what they were up to. Turns out they were a Pokemon Go group... popular time for geo games this weekend at Lake Macquarie. Thanks jonignite.
Almost interrupted a wedding here but we weren't silly enough to do that. We grabbed the Lab cache and a trig point and by the time we were done, so were they. We did however interrupt a Pokemon Go picnic who had also been interrupted by the wedding. haha

Arrived with Grub Fred to do the lab cache and thought we'd better check if there was a trad as well...........yes, we'd just walked past it. Beautiful spot! Found and continued on to the Boots'n All Flash Mob Event. TFTC jonignite.
We had joined forces with maccamob out for a day's caching concentrating mainly on the lab caches and anything else that happened to be nearby.
We pulled up here to find a surprisingly number of geocachers but most were heading off to the nearby just published lab cache.
We decided to look for this one first. We followed the GPSr to gz and split up around a logical location and with this many eyes looking the cache was revealed very quickly.
Maccamob, being ex air force were able to add some extra information about the area making the visit even more enjoyable.
Thanks jonignite for the cache.

Found with our new buddies BoogieRogue whilst in search of a Lab Cache at 6:30pm. Historic spot for this little hide on a beautiful point. TFTC - jonignite
Rapidlywild suggested we head up to the Oz Muster event when it was first published, so between us and a few others we set out to solve the puzzles around the area, not that we got to all of the ones we solved, what a shame we will have to return one day to collect them when the mosquitos are not as active.
We had a great time over the weekend, grabbed lots of caches and met some fellow cachers,
Thanks Rapidlywild for another enjoyable geoadventure.
