### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there RYLISH,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)
Thanks for your cooperation,

A very quiet backroad which I had never been down before. The cache was easy to find, but reasonably wet. I found an only slightly damp place to sign, but I reckon it could use some maintenance.

#257. Spot of caching on earthcache day with caching friend. Had to combat some vigorous scotch thistles. Cache contents are very wet/rotted. Conducted some minor maintenance, but requires some TLC by owner.

Needs maintenance. Notepad was mouldy so I didn't write in it. Cool hiding spot though.
A big day of caching between Orange and Wellington and back. Great weather, able to squeeze in a parkrun as well and caches were all found straight forward.

Left Blackall after the QOGM event, heading south for St. Arnaud event next month. Day 50 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 6?caches for the day and 1582 for the trip. TFTC
Gz was way out but I looked in the obvious place. Cache was there but quite broken. Left it where it was as I didn’t want to damage it.
TFTC! First find of the day and a nice easy one that Ellie spotted straight away. Container is a bit damaged and the logbook has been soaked at some point.
This one was an easy find, but in a very bad way. Container has a big hole in the back of it and the logbook, well, just a solid mass of paper now.
Hi there RYLISH.
We found your cache **"The Pumpkin"** today. (This makes our find count 19392).
Today we cached to the eastwards, to Manildra, Boree & Molong, before heading back to our camp at Parkes. The aim of the day was to cache along some roads we haven't traveled on since we became full time grey nomads, so we can draw another line on our wall map).
We found 17 caches today (DNF'd 1) .We thoroughly enjoyed our cache raid but are disappointed at the number of poorly maintained caches along our route. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
#The CO hasn't been active for some time. Could the next finder please bring a container to repair the cache.#
***Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The cache is UV damaged and very brittle. It really needs some owner TLC.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Found this on our way to the winery. It has been very wet and needs some maintenance
Found as part of an Orange and surrounds geomission with fitzy_1965, AngelG27 & Sol de Lune (signed as FASS to save time & space) Top weather, great company and lots of laughs meant for an epic weekend of caching all round!
Nice quick park and grab at this one. Cute container!
Thanks for the hide, RYLISH

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX, Sol de Lune and I (logged as "FASS") headed from Canberra to Orange and surrounds for a caching blitz over the 30-31 July weekend. We logged around 1000kms in the Geo-Jeep, selecting those caches that Fitzy had not previously found. I scored around 130 caches for the trip. The visit was characterised by blue skies, very green paddocks, lots of water off and on the road, a fair amount of mud, and good company! Still plenty of caches to collect and scenic spots to explore on a return trip. Thanks to my fellow travellers for a fun weekend, and the COs for all their efforts in putting out and maintaining the caches.
17th for the day at 1050 (92 for the trip). No reason to guess why it is called "the pumpkin"! Found as per the hint, thanks RYLISH!

11279. Headed up to the Orange region with AngelG27, Sol de Lune and specimenX ("FASS") for a fun-filled weekend of caching. Lots of caches found, a few not found, and a lot of laughs had as we toured around over 2 full days as far north as Wellington which resulted in 124 finds for me.
Headed out early again today for a final big run of caches before heading home to Canberra. Next stop for the day on a loop up to Wellington and back. Nice quick find at GZ. Log signed, cache returned and we were off to the next one.
Thanks RYLISH !! Nice container !

Found this on a road trip home to Qld an easy find but the cache really needs a bit of care. Signed the log and replaced.
Found a very wet log and container. Actually poured water out of container. Couldn't write on log! Could see mount Canobolas!
Off for a weekend drive with Just a cacher and no particular destination in mind so we decided to grab a cache or two on the way.
We made a quick find here today but the cache contents are still very wet.
Thanks for another cache RYLISH.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
On day one of our trip we headed from Canberra to Dubbo. The caching was in the second half of the day at small towns and around Dubbo itself. Mostly it went soothly. Thanks.

Found with Albida33 on the way to the Stanthorpe Mega......so please excuse the generic log.
The cache was found without any issues and the log was soon signed....then back in the car and off to continue our travels.
Thanks for the cache and adding to the fun of our Mega trip.....

Quick and easy. Was full of water. Added more paper hopefully will stay dry. Took and elephant and left a solider.
Today we explored Dubbo and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and completing 400 Ks for the day on very scenic roads.
Log book wet, dried it out the best we could and replaced with new bag.
Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.
