I had a good luck around but eventually gave up in favour of continuing my walk.I'll keep an eye on it and come back if someone finds it.
Found the perfect spot for one and human trampled foliage leading there but no find. Seems like it's missing?
Stopped in again to drop off another trackable. Also removed the open tomato sauce pack someone had left in there and cleaned the inside as best as possible.
First thing I turned over, had to give it a shot as the map wasnt settling
FOut and about with the wife grabbing a few caches in the Dandenongs.
It's great we have this area close to home and many caches around.

Tried and failed here a few times before, mainly due to muggle traffic in the area. Was out with my 16 year old son doing some extra driver training, so was a good excuse to drive around and scoop up some missing finds. We got to the roundabout with no one around so it was a quick in and out, with extra pair of eyes helping out too. Got it relatively quickly, gave it a bit of clean off since it was pretty muddy and slightly damp inside, signed and returned quickly before back on the road again. TFTC
I decided to head up the mountain to find a cache or two to get me along the way to completing this month's wheel challenge.
Leaving from the calm valley, the strong cold wind was a surprise when I arrived at the roundabout.
Fortunately it was a quick find. Muggles certainly weren't a problem at this time of night.
Cache container had slight traces of moisture inside, but the log was dry in its bag.

Very well hidden, probably worth more than 1 star? Might do with another plastic bag, there was some water in it when we found it. TFTC!!!
GPS was bouncing around, so I thought like a geocacher and went straight to it. TFTC
Too many people bimbking around so only a couple of cursory looks possible. Will try another day......
A quick find here. Log was a bit wet though. Thanks for placing this one Minkca!
We had a lovely day caching in the Sassafras area with pinnacle333.
A short search found the very wet cache.
Thanks Mincka.

I started working on qualifying for "The Helen D'Amico Challenge (a 365 day streak challenge)" (GC873NG) at the end of last year. So of course by working on that challenge I have slowly progressed filling in my "Finds by Found Date" calendar.
I have always had more find dates in my "Finds by Hidden Date" calendar than my "Finds by Found Date." However, after working on this challenge that was no longer the case. In order to balance the two I decided to try and focus on finding some caches that would close off some of the gaps I have in my "Finds by Hidden Date" calendar. So today I decided to come out to try and find this one, as I needed to find a cache hidden on the 4th of October!
I have been getting off work after the sun has set lately, so I have been having to do my daily cache in the dark, and tonight was no exception. I parked nearby and had to pull out the head torch in order to navigate to GZ.
Luckily for me it was a beautiful night, the nice cool breeze made for an enjoyable search.
This one turned out to be a bit tricky, my phone originally had me in between a few different beacons, and I had to systematically search each one before I finally found the correct beacon and eventually the cache. A nice little spot, Thanks for the fun tonight and TFTC.
Cache Maintenance Status:
The cache container was in decent shape and the logbook was a little damp but still in decent condition with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY!!! Have tried this a few times over the years with no previous success. However today it took me all of about 30 seconds to see the likely spot and retrieve it. I believe it did help that the area had been tidied up compared to the other times I have attempted this one but even then it could take some people a lot longer given the natural state of the area. A big TFTC
First one we've seen that hasn't been in camo, well hidden even without it! Log was a little damp thanks for the GC!
Good one Mincka. I was a bit nervous with the amount of DNFs registered but I imagine since the area has been cleared it is s much easier find. Giddy up
This cache has been my nemesis .. I have searched here often with no luck .. the area was usually covered with long grass however today the area had been cleared and the cache soon uncovered. Thanks Mincka for placing the cache. It is the first time I have ventured into the hills since the big storm .. while much of the devastation has been cleared there is still much damage to be seen .. it is heartbreaking.

It's been awhile since last on the hill and now with the streak getting close to the end it was time to circle inward on caches left closer to home for the winter days. This winter morning it was sunny with a cool breeze and 5 degrees on the car. Quite nice. [^]
Wasn't sure if I would have luck here given the previous DNFs but after 20mins of waving and poking a stick around the cache was finally found it was very well camo! Coordinates very good was saying 2m. With the hint making sense. Feeling rather pleased with myself and in no rush I used the breeze and sunlight to help dry out the container and logbook which was a little damp but signable.
With the cache dry was rehidden has found, the daily task was now done. Enjoyed this one. All is good here.
Day 323 of 366 completed.

On my own today trying to clear out some more of the DM series. Great to pick up these on the way. One land roads - boy no progress here. Parked at the end and surprise surprise a group of joggers in shorts passing by. I thought I would it all to my self. Nice easy find. Thanks for the cache Mincka
After work I headed over to these two nearby caches, to continue my streak. It was fairly hot so I was glad this one didn't take me any time to find.
Having been for a few visits to Olinda, we hadn't explored the road out this way before. We pulled up on this sunny afternoon and made a quick find of this nicely concealed cache. With the log signed and everything tucked safely back in place, we headed off for a walk along the trail.
Thanks to Mincka for placing this cache and bringing us here.

Found after a good 10 minutes, a muggle asked me what I was doing so I told them I was digging for worms TFTC
Walked past this a few times for Oxfam, can't believe I haven't got it before now.
Not sure why the previous logger who mentioned the rubbish didn't remove it... or the next finder in fact. Cache now contains a log book only. Rubbish has been removed.

Walking from Springvale to Olinda, a memorable yearly walk and caching along the way. The quietest roundabout in Melbourne. Tftc
Found it after about 10 minutes or so of looking in the surrounding area described, but there were quite a few possible places it could’ve been, great find though!
Lovely area! Found it after about 10 minutes, not far from the road and the hint was accurate.
Today MontsII went for a walk, and he found this cache before the walk began. He said no rage was involved in the finding of this cache! TFTC Mincka

After checking out the nearby virtual cache at the National Rhododendron Garden, we had some lunch in Olinda and then had a wander around the shops. We picked up a couple of caches on our way out of town. Thanks for the cache Mincka.

Out today to grab some more of the DM series and a couple of others along the way. A quick find here in this peaceful spot - TFTC!
fifth and last cache attempted for the afternoon for four finds. Finally we reached the summit of our climb and the last cache. Took a little searching to find the exact right spot until the cache itself was spotted more or less in the open. After signing the cache, we returned it a bit better to the hidey hole on which it was sitting.
Just as we were putting it back, a car pulled up and gave us a long look. I waved and then the person realised they knew MrsMochila. For a second there, I thought we were going to have to give a lesson on geocaching!
TFTC. Last of the day and now back to the car. Unfortunately, we were too late to stop for a coffee.

Number two in a fast Range Rd "westward ho!" cache collecting trip this morning.
Even with the clue this was a bit of a "target rich" environment for hiding spots, but perseverance won out in the end and I found myself with container in hand, signing the log just in time before a couple of walking muggles came up to the roundabout, looped around it, and headed back the way they'd come.
Thanks for the cache, Mincka.

Out caching with Jayebelean picking up a few caches on the mountain.

Found it! I've been meaning to find a few caches around Olinda for a while and this was one of them. The trees interfere with the GPs up here but it didn't take too long to find. A couple of young local Muggles walked passed with and gave me a quizzical look as I gave it a bit more cover before I walked on down the hill. TFTC SL

Ducked out this morning for a quick walk and a cache or two.
My first for the day, a quick find in a barren landscape after the recent controlled burn.

Well, I certainly hadn’t expected to be Caching during the Oxfam 100km walk. Thanks to my amazing team mates and support crew for making it an amazing event with the odd cache!
Geohusband did it again! I haven’t found any caches tonight. Never mind, still getting smiley satisfaction. TFTC.
Hubby spent a while bush bashing in the dark and came across this not so small cache
Took me a while to find it as there were many potential hiding sports in the area and my GPS was playing up a bit. However, eventually found it, although a spider seemed to have set up shop fairly close to the cache. TFTC
Continuing on my hike down the hill, I came upon a roundabout, and near the roundabout, a cache. No one was there to observe me, so it was easily found and signed and returned. Thanks for the cache.
Out with JSando who was support few for Oxfam training and technically I was walking but pulled out with gastro. Got out of the car to relieve my stomach of it's contents and thought "should check if there's a cache here so I don't upchuck on it" ahhh there it is, as I wander off in another direction for a brief spell before returning to sign the log. TFTC
so many locations it could be in, but found by caching partner 2peasinapod2012.
