We are on a ten-day road trip from Sydney around the Central West. Were staying in Cowra but caching around Grenfell today. Lovely little stop. A bit disappointed not to see any superb parrots that a sign warned us to be careful of. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
A quick find here, cache is all goodHeaded over to the Capital GeoBash in Canberra, ACT with Freddo over 5 days, travelling through the central part of NSW before caching around the hinterlands. A nice few days over with great weather. Thanks for the cache
Found your neat cache. Thanks. The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of Oz Mega GeoBash MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza, e_smilie, and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Adelaide to Broken HillDay two. Broken Hill to WellingtonDay three. Wellington to CowraDay four. Cowra to BathurstDay five. Bathurst to CanberraDay six. Canberra to CanberraDay seven. Canberra to QueenbeeyanDay eight. Canberra to AdelaideThe generic bit.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Find#6401Nice hiding place What a epic road trip exploring Australia Thanks for the cache
Quick find for International Geocaching Day. Stunning views over bright yellow canola fields to the Weddin Mountains! Dropped some swag for the geokids. TFTC
Making my way down to the Weddin Mountians i cane across this cache, Jumped out the car and make a rather quick find, GPS was all over the place but the hiding sport was pretty obvious..
Thanks for the cache, all looks to be in working condition.

Chilly afternoon bike ride to GZ. Amazing view, lovely little spot with so many birds. TFTC!
That one took some hunting in the dark. Wandered around in circles for a while until I read a previous log and I was able to narrow down the search to find the very well concealed cache. I thought I had checked that spot earlier but obviously not!!
Travelled over from New Zealand to do a two week roadtrip down to the Rutherglen Mega and back to Sydney. Thanks for the cache, mufftop101

A trip to Perth checking out some of the awesome places along the way in ACT, NSW, outback Qld and NT. Grabbing some old caches and missing LGAs. TFTC.
Cache was well hidden in an obvious spot. Eventually dug out out.

A miserable day so we had no views of anything other than rain! Nice to have a find. TFTC
I travelled west, heading towards Broken Hill for the Ant Dare bike ride and took the opportunity to pick up a couple of geocaches on the way. This cache was a straightforward find, being in a place obvious to geocachers and on the coordinates, although it was well-concealed within its niche. Thank you COs for installing and maintaining this cache.
A lovely drive to get here from the last cache. We’ve been keeping an eye out for the superb parrots that are supposed to be around here. We’ve seen lots of eastern rosellas, and some that might have been superb parrots, but can’t be sure.
A straight forward find, the GPS took us directly to it.
Today we said farewell to Temora and moved on the short distance fo Grenfell. We picked up a few caches en route and arrived mid morning and set up in the donation camp at the Old Railway Station. A lovely setting with the restored station and a playground nearby. Only sharing it with one other! We then checked out the local area caching breaking it with lunch and a coffee at one of the local cafes. The scenery here with its rolling plains and hills is quite different to home. The storm clouds rolling in over the nearby mountains were spectacular.
As for the nearby silo art, amazing.
Thank you to the local cachers. A mixture of hides and a couple quite clever.

TFTC. We are slowly making our way to the Queensland Mega at Dayboro. From Temora we detoured to Grenfell for an overnighter (or maybe an extra day depending on the weather forecast). After making camp we ventured out to find some caches and to explore the area. We had a great couple of hours 1 DNF and 1 maybe later as well as 11 finds.
Enjoyed the drive especially along the stock routes, awesome view across the plains at GZ

Out and about caching this afternoon and this was the first one. Found and signed log. TFTC
Hot day today. The cache and log are good. I left a necklace and picked up the TB 'Zebra = Donkey in pajamas.'. TFTC mufftop101 swift13 spock1967.
As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

Many cache owners are already aware: As per Groundspeak guidelines, I am claiming find because physically found under TeamOzcat. I undertake this not for disinterested statistical purposes, but because of inability to revisit this cache, and/or because it's so damn confusing when viewing the local district geocache maps. I sincerely thank all CO's for time and effort in placement of their caches. Cheers Reg.
We couldn't have picked a better afternoon to get this cache. It poured down last night, but today was a perla. Left a TB to entice another visit. Cache found in good condition
walk past it thinking it was something else but it was rubbish then followed GPS and kids found it
With a day free I decided to go for a drive to Grenfell and clean it out. This didn’t end up happening as some caches I couldn’t find and some are missing (according to past logs). About ½ of the caches I found today are in need of some urgent TLC. The list of issues includes: cracked containers, waterlogged/full logbooks, missing parts of field puzzles, incorrect coordinates and completely missing containers. I did try my best to help CO’s with these problems as much as possible but unfortunately, I didn’t have enough supplies with me for all of them. I hope the CO’s will continue maintaining these great hides, to stay alive for others to find in the future. Today was a great day full of creative hides, great locations, fun hikes and lots of laughs. TB visit on all found caches today and on some of the smaller log books/sheets I signed as 13/9 JM. Even though I was upset with the state of some of the caches around, I still would like to say thank you to all the CO’s for taking the time to place the caches I found and the fun I had while finding them today. Sorry about the generic logs. Only the more interesting hides and DNF’s will get an extended logs due to the amount of caches I found today.
Out and about on the way around Grenfel we found some really good , sneeky caches over two days, it was a awesome to be a cacher, we luv the country side out this way thanx to the cache owners for making the day what it was , awesome

We were able to park nearby and after a short walk the cache was located. Signed log and returned as found. Then headed on to Holy Camp. TFTC
Picked this one up as we drove past on the way out to Weddin ranges. GZ had us in a bare spot there were three potential hides in three different directions, all 6m away. Wasn't too hard to pick the hide in the end.
On a road trip to Mums place. This is not the way I usually drive but I wanted to get a couple of older caches and this was on the way. What a fabulous view it is!

#4491 - 14:50; I was in Grenfell with the geohoney and her muggle friend during the Henry Lawson Festival. That wasn't the reason we were here, just decided to come for a drive on a beautiful day as the geohoney wanted to check out a retail emporium she'd heard of recently. After lunch, I took the chance to do a spot of caching while they did the retail therapy. I love shopping . I headed out of town, managing to select the correct roads and soon found myself parked near GZ. I headed over and soon had the cache in hand and the log signed. Admired the views before heading off for the next cache. TFTC mufftop101
A beautiful spot for a cache. A quick find, we took a TB and will move it on as soon as possible. TFTC mufftop

I remember wandering all over this hill side with our old GPS when it had decided it didn't like caching any more. This time we went straight to it. TFTC
We have wasted time looking here before but had no troubles with our new shiny toy. we did wonder if it was still to early for snakes - and fortunately there were none about. TFTC
Plans were made with the FurfacesLL ladies to do a loop of Cowra, Grenfell and surrounds. Although I have recently been on this loop with Tanso, I was keen to head out again with the girls and even attack a couple of the DNF's from the previous trip. I managed to pick up a total of 18 finds today and 1 cache was DNF'ed again after another extensive look.
Thanks mufftop101 for placing these caches, lovely area especially on a day like today. and thanks to FFLL ladies for another nice caching day out

Our only free day for quite some time so we decided to head out on a geomission around the area. We have had a couple of mini tours lately, but today we went all out to Cowra and Grenfell to see how many we could find. Rapidlywild came along for the drive to fill her gaps where she has previously posted DNF's. The weather was lovely and the drive was picturesque, thank you to all the cache owners for bringing us to this lovely part of Australia.
Too dark to see the views, quick grab. TFTC mufftop101

Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers as we head to Stanthorpe for the Qld Mega. TFTC
Lovely peaceful spot and an easy cache for a change because of the challenge these caches have been and the enjoyment we're having, we've stayed an extra day TFTC
Even with the risk of bad weather, we headed out with Roostaman, to pick up some caches.
Enjoyed the view, while the sun was out. Cache was located, signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, mufftop101, for us and others to find.

3517. Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1430. We are on a run to Grenfell for the rest of the weekend. Did your cache on the return journey from Peregrine Lookout. The coords were 10 metres out but there is only one obvious location. SL Tnx mufftop101
My last find for the day. I'd highly recommend visiting this one on dusk like I did. Great sunset, dopey looking cows watching me from the other side of the road, and an overall tranquil setting. Some of the many reasons why geocaching is so great.

Went for a drive out to Holy Camp to see whether I could manage a walk up the Weddin Mountains but it was a bit late so I scoped it out for my next visit. On the way back I stopped here and headed up the hill to make a quick find. A big cache with nothing much in it. Plenty of room for plastic junk I guess.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Great hiding spot. It was very hit but I did not see any snakes. Found it with Sneaky-Pete. TFTC. TBT.
Hot day lots of flies to contend with. Maybe should have worn shoes, plenty of Joe Blake's around this season. Great view, never stopped to really appreciate it before. Apprentice is learning well. Found with jimmyt2002. TFTC
This was a tricky hide. Looked at the spot a few times before getting down in the dirt to finally spot it.
Nice cool breeze today.
Thanks
