A nice, quick park in grab. Thanks for the hide. The logbook is moist and the lid to the cache is very hard to get off. Thanks for the series.
We're up from the Surfcoast, staying in Kyneton and enjoying a break away in the regions we are still able to get to. Today we packed our hand sanitiser and headed out and about using caching as out tour guide.
We've enjoyed the series here and this was no exception. Thanks for placing these along the way Mainebirds !

Loving the country back roads along here, making a shortcut from Daylesford through to Vaughn Springs. Thoroughly enjoyed this series, some caches taking a little longer than others! A beautiful part of the world, thanks for placing.
A nice quick find here after a morning spent book shopping and caching around Daylesford. Enjoying being back outside after the long iso months! Tftc

Today with the dog loaded and the stresses of xmas packed away at home, the caching run from Glenlyon to Castlemaine was the goal. And on a lovely day it was a very enjoyable run. Many many thanks for placing these caches to make so !!!
GPS was being a bozo with this one so I had to use my brain and eyes for a change. Very unlike me. But it was found all in good order. Thanks for the cache!
One of closest ones left to where we live, we decided to complete this trail today. Nice, quick pick up. Thanks for the cache.

Mostly blue sky, no wind and warm sunshine - what a change from the past few days. Perfect weather for caching out to the west of Kyneton.
There were only one or two flowers peeping through, the calling of the birds was delightful.
Thanks to 'Mainebirds' for the hunt and cache placement

Same as number 2 and 3. Easy peasy this time...impossible first time. Must be better signal.
'Tis a fantastic drive along the Green Gully trail [^]
To think I would never have discovered it without a string of geocaches along it to find
TFTC !!
No green birds seen today,
just a lot of LBB's [:o]
"Twitchers" nightmares !!

Headed down this way from Bendigo with Claybol who had targeted the Green Gully Bird Trail series. This was the first of the finds.... Easy find, so we logged and set off for the second in the series.
Find #1542 for me. Found with virbull at 1:50pm. I had an opportunity to go geocaching this afternoon and was tossing and turning over which ones to go for. A quick check on Project GC showed me that neither virbull nor I had found the Green Gully Bird trail caches so we decided to target these. This one was the first and was a quick find for us today. Thanks for the cache and the series Mainebirds!

After the 15 Years of Events in Victoria event, we decided to head to Daylesford and the surrounding area to find a few cool caches. We picked up three earthcaches, bringing my total number of earthcache finds to 200. Now it was time to drive the ridge and back, picking up all of the caches along the way, before it got dark and was time to head for home. Ridge caches done, time for the Green Gully Bird Trail caches! Plenty of birds along the side of the track and a few Kangaroos too! Thanks for the cache, Mainebirds.

I have been extremely behind in logging our cache finds.
Thank goodness the GPS stores all these finds.
Apologies for the lateness.

While making the most of the good weather in the company of McLookers, we cached in the area enjoying the scenic views. Found the log mouldy.
Thanks Mainebirds for the cache.

Out for a Monday stroll and keen to locate a FTF. Got to this one at 4.37pm and heading north. TNLN TFTC.
Tomstache spotted this one. I was looking in the wrong spot!! Thanks Mainebirds.
This morning hubby headed off on his motorbike bound for Perth (yes crazy). So the geokids and I decided to nab the 4WD and do some caches out the back of Daylesford/Castlemaine way. A lovely little trail here. Amazing to see all the houses (and a few random things too)! Not sure I'd feel safe out here though if a bushfire was approaching - I'd have long left the house! Thanks for the cache
Enjoyable drive through the bush, so glad it was a cooler day. Again Mainebirds, the co ords were spot on, thus making it a quick find. Thanks.
In the area today and I decided to hunt this series of caches and this one was first. "parked" right at GZ (not much parking around here so just left the car on the road!!!!) Followed the GPSr to GZ where the cache was found after a short search. Thanks to Mainebirds for this one

I walked right around this one before I saw the simple hide. Not a lot of birds about today for some reason.
Nice drive through the forest, we are restarting this as we started it a couple of months ago (from the wrong end)
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
We were on the Porcupine Ridge Road and decided to carry on to this group of three caches and complete a loop back to Daylesford. Not the preferred way in as we found out, particularly after last night's thunderstorm - but we made it and had a bit of fun. TFTC.

Found @ 9:20pm, find # 3486.
Another Friday night caching run with biggles1024, this time a bit further a field with a centroid mission.
We had already found the caches that I needed for the challenge cache so now on it was all bonus finds while we were in the area.
At GZ for this one we started to look around, when I spotted the cache just laying on the ground, not hidden in any way so after we signed the log I replaced it where I thought it may have been.
Thanks to Mainebirds for placing this cache.

A cold day but a nice drive with some good sized caches to find, this one was an odd but effective hide.

Having found the other bird trail caches this morning it was a nice postlude to find this one. Thanks for the cache and showing us another beautiful bush area around here.
It was a chilly but beautiful morning to be out here on the backroads heading for the Castlemaine event. A nice easy roadside find with a good place to turn around again.

Had a great day caching and enjoying the outdoors as usual. Many kilometres put on the geoPatrol to add to the numbers. Now it is a waiting game for the next opportunity to get out again.
Many thanks Mainebirds for placing this cache.

Found on a short 2 night holiday with LumpyJRB who is on holidays from the NT. We had a great day out geocaching and made about 28 finds over 2 days. The main highlight was completing the Fryers Series. The weather was kind to us and we only had one DNF on this trip.
Second last find of the day. Nice and easy. Thanks to Mainebirds for this hide.

@ 1410 with A+. We travel this road 4-5 times a year and I'm puzzled I never thought of placing a cache along it. So smart work Mainebirds. A couple of good wineries at the southern end and I agree the Glenlyon General Store (our local) is well worth a visit for meal or coffee. TNLN and thanks.
I have been to the Glenlyon store before in the beer garden - nice at this time of the year. Easy find.
Dirt road a bit rough in places but OK for 2wd, good driving lessons for L plate driver kanokanick. Easy find not far off road in what could soon be snake territory.
A nice easy find today. The wild flowers were very pretty even though the bush is very dry. Thanks Mainebirds.
Found by Roma and Max.
Although over clouded it is a lovely spring afternoon to be searching in such a pleasant bush setting.
The native flowers are just commencing to appear all around and even now are providing a colourful display.
Good numbers again helped us in making our find.
Thanks Mainebirds for introducing us to this area.
Cheers,
from Romax.
