I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi knapgoesThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no cache maintenance logged. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
Due to the roadworks in the area, the cache not being found in 3 years and the CO has not cached in 8 years, it's probably time this cache is permanently archived.
Roadworks continue - sounds like this cache may either need attention or archiving.
Last found 24 9 2021.Roadworks here and the row of trees shown have now been removed.
Roadworks have been going on for quite awhile and the row of trees shown have been removed. Not found since 2021.
had a good look thru the small bushes/trees in the long grass along the bank. unsure if its still there
Quick find when I was in the area. Have had this one on my “to do” list for years! Wet inside the cache but the waterproof paper is great. TFTC
For the first time today hubby decided he would get out of the car and join me in the rain. And he spots it straight away. That would be right. Tftc
Lovely little drive by! Use to walk this road a lot when I was training for the Oxfam trail Walk. Lovely long country road. So beautiful out here TFTC!
This was a lovely detour on the way home. What beautiful views. Thanks to the kids for sharing this place we wouldn't have otherwise been. Interesting seeing the road works progressing. Tftc
Found while on a trip north with tmann421.
Enjoying discovering the areas and finding some caches.

6 January 2020 12:45 PM. Well I have seen a peacock in a tree but it flew up there. We had to do this cache because of its name. MacPacDaughter got clawed by a peacock when she was young. She loves all other animals even rats spiders and snakes but we can't get her to like peacocks. We are here because she is the media manager at the Scout Jamboree at Mystery Creek. So we are heading back to Jamboree tell her we found a peacock cache - just for her!
Driving back to Hamiltom from Tauranga today and decided to get a couple of caches while on the outskirts of Hamilton. Stopped here and initially thought I was going to be doing a bit of a climb after reading the title, but after looking around found the cache in reasonable reach cache and log in good condition, even after the torrential rain today. Thanks for the cache!
Left my fone at home......made. It slightly harder but still found relatively quickly.
A Saturday to spare so the call was made to gather those free for a small raid on the Waikato. McJandals and TNXPro were able to join me and meander through the country side collecting this cache on our travels.
This cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Cheers knapgoes, TFTC

On another roadie with P.P and McJ.
I always seem to have caches to pick up around the outskirts of Hamilton, and today was no exception. Just a random pickup when all three of us need the cache find.
It certainly is in a random spot.

On a roadie (from Tauranga) with Philip Perry and TNXPRO. I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers
#534. Out and about doing a few caches in between the very welcome showers this morning. Able to park safely quite close by and made an easy find.

I thought I better grab this while out and about this morning. Nice quiet road, tftc.
My first cache of my third year of caching. Made it far more difficult than it should have been. TFTC.
I came down to Hamilton for the day and drove over to get this one. What a lonely road. If it weren't for Geocachers, there wouldn't have been any traffic. TFTC.
Out on this beautiful day collecting some more Hamilton caches. Don't think I have been right out here before. Cache all good and thanks to the previous caches or replacing the log sheet. TFTC
Nearly slipped here lol but was worth it for another smiley been meaning to come out here for a while but never got round to it. Tftc!
Have wanted to grab this for a long time. Finally got it. They must be able to climb. TFTC
A final one on the way south to the 'Naki. This was for a 'hidden date'on the matrix. Found the cache without difficulty but the contents were very wet. The log was just all mushy and impossible to read. Left it out so the rest of the contents would survive. Signed a wee small and wet 'booklet'in the container (just). Sorry, I had no replacements on hand. tftc
Out in the country on a sunny afternoon with two small granddaughters. Lots of excitement when they found the cache. Happiness all round. TFTC.
Should have been a quick find but made a meal of it and realised that I didn't really have the appropriate footwear thanks to the recent weather. Thanks for bringing us out this way again. Lots of muggles around on a fine afternoon.
On the road again with Gap (of Fap and Gap). He has a small job to do and we are combining this with a sweeping cache hunt through the northern Waikato.
We passed this cache the other week when I was saturated and too uncomfortable to care. Today was a much better day to visit, and Gap had this sorted even before I got out of the car. TFTC.

Took the scenic route out of town & stopped by for a quick find, well done on your 1st hide! TFTC
Not so quiet here today but soon found. The trick was getting everything back in the cache nice hide and nice area...TFTC
We can climb trees, but this one didn’t require any climbing, it was nesting nicely, well done on your first hide, TFTC.

This one took a few minutes out of our day, finally found it and made sure it was nestled nicely although not in the tree anymore.

Night find while in the area on our way to an overnight stay at the Glenview club motorhome park. Took quite some time to locate as it is not nested any more but cache still ok TFTC.
Left my mark on the tree!! Ouch. Camo is no longer but thanks anyway for the hide knapgoes
This is a road that I have rarely driven down so nice to check it out again. As the previous finder said the camo appears to have come off the cache which was a shame as it sounds like the kids had fun making it.
Many thanks
Many thanks
Still don't know if they can climb trees. found quickly not where I thought it would be. TFTC
We think the camouflage has fallen off and that made it difficult to place where the hint suggested we would find it. TFTC
Another dot day knocked off! Coords tried to trick us with another possibility but we widened the search and managed to grab it. TFTC!
I've never been down this far this road before. Lovely carpet roses on the way here.
Soon had the cache in hand - way quieter than the real peacocks!

Popped out today for a quick find while watching some of the fireworks going off in the area. TFTC
Was nearby so decided to stop and have another look, this time was easily found in a spot I'm sure I looked in last time

Hay Knapgoes Great first Cache, It is addictive! We will have to follow your lead. Cache is FULL! TFTC :0) K, P and L
Easily found the new geotrail, but after a 15min search of every possible location gave up and moved on to easier pickings
Oh, how quickly a cache trail forms! Great to have a new cache in our area, thanks.
Went there this morning in the dark on the way to work no joy but back now and soon in hand tftc
Was reloading the GPS when thus one popped up. Decieded to make a go for it but without alot of hope as I know who lives near by.
Got to GZ and the place was clear of the usual suspects. Quickly made the find (coords were spot on) and just finished signing the log for a FTF when Geocooly and Radionut50 appeared over the brough of the hill enquiring about dodgy parking on a roadside in the evening. Haha
Had a quick catch up and departed before it got too cold. Thanks for a new cache, and look forward to seeing more

That was fun – I have not been FTF hunting or a very long time.. this one was only a couple of km from home, so should be a good opportunity.
Called the geocooleys, and arranged a pickup of Mr geocooley and number 2 junior, then off… but found a car parked at the spot…. So congratulated Steve, and logged our joint secondzees.
Youngest member had fun selecting a swap, and then took more time selecting a return swap from the bag she was prepared to put in (and that fitted) and we were off.
Thanks for the opportunity for some fun.

Thought about going for the FTF, but the couch was feeling mighty comfy. CB ask if the alert was a new cache near by, and after confirming in was, she made up the excuse of "the dog needs a walk". So threw everyone in the car and away we went.
No-one at GZ, so fingers crossed for a black log book.......darn it! Was quite surprised that I was only 3rdTF. Geocaching season must be starting again. Took a little bit for the phone GPS to settle, so a little searching was needed.
