Thanks for the find and the excuse to stop in a beautiful part of the state. The log book is a little damp but useable
Quick find on a drizzly day. Hardest bit was getting up the bank. Log book very fragile. TFTH
Staying up at Cooma for the weekend with my family and managed to talk them into stopping to grab a few quick caches on our way to Eucumbene for a fish. First stop and we grabbed this one. I didn't have a replacement log but this one and most of the contents were soggy. Managed to sign and sealed it up as best I could.I've enjoyed the story from this series and will have to come back to get part two some time! Thanks
An impromptu road trip to the snowies allowed me to stop along the way to grab a plethora of caches. This was one of many finds I made for the trip.Used the road junction as my breakfast location. TFTC
Found It!
Spotted this one after a lap of the tree. Not too much traffic at this cross roads today.

Day 3 of the Jindy Jaunt. After a climbing adventure on day 2, today would be an easier day with a drive through the beautiful countryside, picking up some of the easier caches.
A good find along the road.

Was so overgrown had a lot of trouble with lots of prickly bushes. Searched extensively but unfortunately was not to be.
Day 8 of our 2 week road trip south from Brisbane. After overcoming floods, a bogged car and vehicle electrical issues, we finally reached Canberra to spend a few days with relatives and explore some of the newer virtual and earth caches since my last visit. It was then time to continue the journey south towards the Snowy Mountains.
After spending the night in Cooma, it was a chilly start to the day at -1°, with a heavy frost. I had to head back inside before we left for some warm water to dissolve the ice covering my windscreen.
Our destination for today was Tumut but before getting there I had some caches to find along the way to help qualify for an elevation challenge I was working towards. This was one of the qualifiers on my list.
I seemed to be on form this morning as I managed to lay my hands on the cache much quicker than expected. TFTC

Plan A was to find a cache in Namadgi, but it was pouring with rain when I got there, so I changed to Plan B, and drove on to Adaminaby to find caches around the lake. Cache easily found. TFTC.

Fun easy little catch on the way to Yarra caves. Really liked the description for it to!
Continuing our cross country epic. Nice spot with the sheep watching out activities.
Out for a fun days caching with fitzy_1965, albida33 & cosmonaut97.
We headed from Canberra down to Cooma out to Anaminaby and back through Namadgi.

23,757. Found with minniek, albida33 and cosmonaut97 during a loop from Canberra to Cooma, Adaminaby and back through Namadgi today.
With a planned walk in Canberra postponed, we headed out on Plan B - a loop from Canberra to Cooma, Adaminaby and back home through Namadgi. After the others grabbed caches in Cooma, we headed out towards Adaminaby. Next find of the day. A nice quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks Teganerin & mattyg2787 !!

Nice quick find here.... all in order
So I see a CITO published for the top of Kozi....Aquilus1 have been wanting to come down here for ages to collect the Kozi caches (I already have them) but also get the 2000!
But, Aquilus1 rolls her ankle, very badly.... so it looks like the whole thing may be off, but, I hadn't accounted for the stubborn streak..."we ARE going, the ankle will be FINE".
So, off we go collecting some targeted caches along the way, we teamed up with another team in the beginning before going our separate ways.
Some interesting Cooma caches, followed by a NUTS drive out to The Gates, and cleaning out Buckanderra on the way down to Jindy. After checking in and meeting Tankengine & dty73, we grabbed a few more caches including a multi I started very, very long ago before ending up at the event.
Great burger, great bubbles... thanks all CO's

All quite wet inside container but log is nice and dry. Nice location and a regular nice!
Trip log:
We had a plan, and it was to go to Kosciusko for an oldie and some high altitude caches, it was also to be my first visit, so I was keen. When GreyHams noticed an event was published up there this weekend the decision was made and after a lot of discussion over previous years the time had finally come to tick this one off...
Or so it should have been but my sprained ankle several days before we were to go, it was touch and go and I wasn't sure I could make the distance, but only one way to find out, with some contingency plans should they be needed.
With GreyHams it was an early start, and of course there were other Canberra cachers heading south for the weekend also, so we teamed up for a number in the morning with the newly formed 'Jindy Crew'. After a spot of Cooma caching it was out to 'The Gates' on Lake Eucumbene, a trek but a great way to pass the hot day in the cars aircon, and then the 'track' out to the cache, challenging and equally as amusing, it was a great drive in! A little caching around Buckenderra was nice scenery before meeting up with dty73 and Tankengine in Jindabyne for some more caching an event and a relaxed yummy dinner with our Canberra caching friends for the evening.
Arriving at Charlottes Pass early in the morning is the thing to do, and with so many others already there it was a busy carpark, needing to park about 1km down the road! After our warm up walk and lashings of sunscreen we started off, slow and steady and hoping the foot would make the distance. And it did! The prep was sound, the poles were my lifeline step after step and finally I got to attempt the summit.
Such a great walk, so much to see, yes, it looks all bare and rocky but its beautiful and the slow pace we set we saw all of it! So great with many other cachers up there to spend time with them too, and we spent much time walking along with them over the distance, so much conversation had the time pass quickly and enjoyably. Many thanks to GreyHams, it wasn't the main range loop walk we had planned but he got me to the summit and back! As broken as I was with that last limp to the car we still had the enthusiasm to plan the next trip.
Many thanks to the CO's for your caches, we only stopped at a few for various qualities but your cache led to a very enjoyable trip.

My second of a 9 day caching road-trip holiday. After turning early last night, I woke up unfortunately very early this morning. Far colder than I was expecting when I started my morning caching before breakfast.
Today I headed West through Kosciuszko NP, A fun drive but with fewer caches than yesterday.
Thanks for the caches.

The container doesn’t seal properly anymore & the bag has split so water is getting into it.
I’m heading up that way weekend of 4th August and I will fix up this cache and give the rest of the series some TLC too
Cache was full of water so tipped it out - log was slightly damp but still able to be written on. TFTC.
Went out for a drive today. A beautiful sunny day for a drive and pick up som geos.We did a loop around from Jindabyne and back out through Cooma. Saw some amazing places we had never been to before.
Thanks for the cache. Great little hide. Left some treasure for the little cachers.
Quaint church and no one around .
Nice hide amongst the trees and rocks.
Many thanks.

A quick find I seems to start to drizzle every time I get out of the car. Cache OK. TFTC.
Nice spot, found with Justjessie while we took the long way home from Jindabyne. TFTC.
Big day - Did the Kosciusko climb and also picked up some caches at Cooma and on our way back to Adaminaby (via Buckenderra) with AWTYOW, Brizzle11, and Geogangstas. Great day out! TFTC

The junior geo-gangsta was quick here to locate the goods. Thankfully we made it through this one with our souls untarnished. TFTC!
Coming from Berridale with van behind and there’s somewhere to pull up this time. All good, but the squashed red belly black near the crossroads makes you think about long grass etc a bit more.
Today we were out on a nice day of driving around Cooma and Adaminaby, picking up caches we have either missed or have not had time to stop on previous visits. We enjoyed the drive in the country into an area we haven't visited much. Thanks all.
I was down at Buckenderra doing a spot of fishing with the boys. The fishing was a bit quiet, so I decided to go for a drive and grab some caches. This was one and a straight forward find while watching heaps of motorcycles heading up the other road.

Found where I thought it might be that matched the hint but no good for me today . Weather not niceenough to search for long
Looked for this one first in our hunts around this area today but we had no luck. Plenty of burrows here but we couldn't find a cache.
