Aghhh, there you are. Searching for a while here, but eventually something caught my eye. Also needed to take a second look to figure out retrieval. Very creative. Also dropped off Bluey to continue her journey.TFTC!!! All in great condition here.
Spending a couple of days up in the local area before attending two events and meeting up with geo friends.Weather was not too cold on the north side of Brisbane, and the countryside was lovely to drive around. Will have to plan another trip up here, as there are still so many more caches available for me to find. This solved puzzle has been on the to-do list for quite some time, and I am now happy to have a smile against it.Thank you, Slow Puncture, for the good puzzle and hide at GZ
Slow Puncture (LJCC) I found your cache Rock n Roll (I Gave You The Best Years Of My Life) on 2/7/2024, 9:35AM. This is my find 6785 and find # 6 today. Solved this puzzle some time back. A quick and easy drive by while in the area. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Solved on Saturday 29/04/23 with my old friend google. Only had to change one number in the end. So happy there is a checker so I am not searching in the wrong place ! Its much appreciated. We were about to hear home after some targeted attributes and I cleared the search filter and bam right ahead of us was the final for this cache so we parked to grab it. Nice easy find. All is good here. TFTC. #11 for today and #1561 in total.
Gorjess had previously solved this and we were in the area for a particular attribute for June when we realised this one was really close by! TFTC
This one had been solved for quite awhile and after we failed to find a few other 'R' geocaches for the spell February challenge I finally saw this one. A quick park and grab but it get a fav point for the originality of the hide and it was a fun puzzle... It is also a Leap Day find TFTC
Rain has eased, yay!. Nice puzzle googled out on side of road. Nice attachment device at gz. TFTC.
Enjoyed this puzzle of rock and roll artists. Solved and proceeded to GZ. Easy find and a fav from me. TFTC
Stopped here to find this previously solved puzzle. Has been on my solved list for ages but never got the chance to make the find. Quickly spotted and retrieved from its home. All is good here. Left some swag for the next finders. TFTC
Up this way today for some inspection work and while I am in the area why not get some caches.
I found these easy enough today. Thanks for the hides and the placements.
I enjoyed doing this puzzle and all the while I was humming the song lol. Thanks to the internet for most of the answers. The first few I just used logic but there are a couple of nice knowledge questions in there, thank you.
I signed the log and replaced as found and continued on, thanks, all good with this one.

Passing through the area today when mentioned a nearby cache we hadn’t collected as yet. So a minor diversion & .
Muggle65 and l decided to collect some caches that have been on the solved pile for way too long. We never seem to venture out this way so as we were close, today was the day. Cache was found in perfect order. Thank you for the fun
A busy weekend in Dayboro, lots of people out and about.
Caching with some geocaching friends to collect lots of smilies here. Thanks for hiding and maintaining this cache.

Love this road! Thanks for tempting us back.
So don’t do what I did…I went into the grass unnecessarily and got a bit caught in some rusty barbed wire… that’s a whoops. Will monitor for tetanus. probably a good reminder to get a booster this week anyway.

TFTC. We had solved this one quite a while ago in preparation of coming to Dayboro. Staying in the area until after school holidays are finished we were able to spend time caching in the area.
Final day of Mega, so off to collect a few more caches while the going is good.

Gotcha. Signed today as MINIFIGAS! as I teamed up with GLISS! Minniek, Fitzy_1965, Albida33 and Smittengranny to tackle some counties, trails, oldies and interesting caches. It was another very wet day making some of the driving a little tricky, but we still managed some awesome caching. Great to be finally in Queensland with our eyes on the Mega Prize. We had a truly awesome day!
This is the first Mega we have had in Australia in over a year. We have navigated lockdowns, mouse plagues, floods and the dreaded Covid to get here. So wonderful to be able to be out caching in Queensland. Such a privilege. Thanks for the cache.

Easter trip away with fitzy_1965 for the cacheQLD Dayboro Mega.
After a slow start due to the rain, we teamed up with nibletricecakes, GLISS!, Albida33 and Smittengranny (signing logs as MiNiFiGAS!) to tackle the balance of We <3 Geo and Geosaurus, as well as Agatha Christie and part of the Coat of Arms Geo-art trails and any others in-between. Then ended the day with a great catch-up at the Tropi-Cal Party.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated.

24,237. Found with minniek on our Dayboro QLD MEGA Adventure trip. For today we also cached with albida33, Nibletricecakes, Smittengranny and GLISS! to form and sign as MiNiFiGAS!
With the sudden COVID outbreak in Queensland putting the Mega in doubt we decided to head up to the New South Wales / Queensland border hoping that it would still go ahead, and with the announcement that things were mostly returning to normal we decided Plan A still looked good. Day 5. An early and still wet start today with an aim of caching our way through finishing some of the Geo-Art around Dayboro (all being pre solved) plus various bonus caches along the way. This was the next stop for the day. We parked nearby this one for a quick find at GZ. Signed the log as MiNiFiGAS!, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks CacheQLD and all the other Cache owners !! Please forgive the generic logs.

Dayboro trip. Day 10. Day two of the Mega weekend. I again joined Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Nibblericecakes and Gliss for a full day of caching after a bit of time spent at mega HQ for catch up and learning. It was another wet day, but not as bad as it could have been. We mostly visited solved puzzles in the nearby Geo-art, but also did the other caches that we passed along the way. The day ended up in another remote part of the area, that meant a difficult wet drive home along narrow maintainous roads. All in all another fun day with great company.

What an interesting tree! And great way to make the cache too. I like these types of puzzles - solvable! TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
That’s a mighty impressive cache construction! And a cool tree, to boot. It should have been more obvious, but we made it harder than it needed to be – not that it stopped us from retrieving the cage, it just made it a little more awkward. Everything was in good condition.

What an excellent location at GZ for this hide. Such a great tree. We also like the way the container has been put together and everything was safe and dry inside. I think we must have solved this puzzle many months ago sitting in our armchairs at home and doing a bit of quiet googling. Clearly our answers were okay as we made a quick find today. We are enjoying exploring this area also.

While out and about clenaing up some geo-art puzzles we managed to find some other solved puzzles that we each still had on our joint to do list, including this one. This was quite surprising, because no planning had gone into the trip and as it turned out all the ones Crookedpete had intended to do, we had the same ones sitting in our solved pile.

The rain today, whilst very welcome, literally dowsed our plans for a rock hop up a creek near Mt Barney. However, with a leave pass secured for the day, I was still keen to spend the day caching and coerced Swellerfungus and Seffnjarah to spend the day grabbing various geo-art puzzles as well as a few others in between.
Whilst not part of the local geo art, we diverted here, attracted by a solved puzzle, a multi and some other caches.
Most logbooks were signed "Bromance" to save space. Many thanks, Slow Puncture

Out with the Bromance for another puzzle collection day. Plans t attack a hike were squashed due to the inclement nature of the weather, so some park and Grabs were on the menu. We met early at the Dayboro Bakery, and after a fill of pastry we headed off into the drizzle.
We collected any number of Dinosaur, Hearts and independent puzzles, traditional's and multi's that cam across our path. I managed to grab a few previous DNF's (you know who you are!!), which have been plaguing me for some time.
As always a day with the lads is filled with laughter, innuendo, very bad dad jokes, giggling at the stupidity of our actions, and a rousing good bolloking at each others expenses. A pleasure as always.
My thanks to the GeoArt tragic who is a matre to the game, and all the other CO's of caches we found. We will be back one day to clean up the rest.

This was a roadside-solving affair for me.
Hmmm.. Am I the only one in 5 years and 85 finds to notice that question D has a slight typo in it? Or am I the only fool picky enough to mention it?
I soon had an answer. Typically, my first answer is always wrong. Not today, said the checker.
I made my way to GZ to find a likely hide. Now that's a pretty impressive little hide going in there. I signed the log and returned the cache to its home - all without a soul in sight.

I had this on my solved list, and today as Wombles and I were out here we made a quick stop for me to grab this cache - Wombles had done it previously, so up we pulled and I knew where it would be as we drove close, but before I got out of the car I could see it.

I really like general knowledge puzzles - take some time to solve but don't hurt your brain too much and there's always some interesting new facts that you find out. Solved the other day and earmarked this one for the mission into deep space today.
Just had a late lunch in Burpengary at the park and had started developing a headache from heat exposure at the Caboolture markets this morning. So when navigating to this one and finding ourselves in front of someone's house with dogs going crazy barking, I suddenly realised that my foggy brain had forgotten what I was doing and navigated to the listed co-ordinates not the solved puzzle ones...
Quick adjustment and off further down the road to much nicer quieter spot. Interesting tree with lots of windows, soon found the cache with a slightly unusual placement but very handy to retrieve and just fits through. Back to the car to sign and replaced. Looks like the strangler fig is holding this tree up.
After some adding up of the day's adventures, just like Nikid1 before us.. this cache also propelled us to the end of the solar system, to Pluto and completed the Planetary Pursuit challenge for us. Yay!!! Didn't think we'd make it past Neptune but with the extra week extension, and some careful planning, we just made it.

We love a bit of pub quiz trivia and, turns out, we knew the answers to a few in this musical mystery . Loved the misty drive here this evening, as well as the marsupial spotting (be diligent here, drivers). We were then delighted to find a fantastic hide and a very well-engineered cache (especially for arachnophobes like us!). Awarding a FP .
Today was grooming day so whilst geopuppy was getting gorgeous , my first stop was here in the wilds of Orange Crew country.

Cache find #1002. Detoured in to pick up this one I'd solved months ago. Park n grab which is what I want on my heavily delayed and abreviated Easter space adventure. Glad to be back out in the field again after a long limbo while I caught up with a logging backlog before my 1,000thth cache. Apparently I have now joined the comma club. Bit like flybuys, different rewards. Bestowing a fave point to celebrate an easy solve and the freedom of being unchained from that @~&*¥$¿ computer! TFTC Slow Puncture. All well here.
I really liked the positioning of this cache, easy to put in and out...and in plain view but camouflaged..beautifully maintained..tftc

Great puzzle and I think I solved this twice, for some reason my first solved cords didn't save. Trying to grab a cache a day and so far I think this makes 43 consecutive days, it was such a hot day but I had to get out before the storm rolled in, which leaves the nearby caches on a waiting list, this was much bigger than expected so we might be back with TB's . . Really enjoyed this puzzle and learnt alot. love the hide for this cache..sharpem and I had been out caching for a few hours around these parts and this was our second last find for the day. when we went down this street and realised we went down this street hours ago and drove past this spot twice we thought we were disoriented at first but we realised we did go down this street focused on another cache and not looking for others. Oh well it is a beautiful spot to visit twice and we were glad we came to find this cache. thanks slow puncture for the fun puzzle and great hide.

# 1279 - Wombles and co and I thought it was time to do something different today, so we made a plan to attempt the "spelling February" challenge since it's the right month for it. I hardly had any caches for it yet, so the list was long and varied. Of course you don't leave caches unfound if they happen to be near and thus we went home with a few more smileys than necessary.
Rock and Roll was the first one on the list and a handy puzzle cache. A well thought through hide too, so an easy find for starters.
