Tackling the second half of this track this morning. Last cache for me for the series as Im getting off at this branch line. Spent far too long looking for this one with gps jumping all over the place. Once my gaze was averted from the branch line I found the cache housing, but no cache or log as other cachers had revealed. Will send photo to COs as proof of find. Thank you very much BorisB&Natasha. This has been an excellent series which I have enjoyed enormously. Its combined all the best things I like about caching - a lovely walk and really interesting caches. Just great!
Unfortunately only found the remnants of the cache camouflage but no cache inside. Found with Friend23, TFTC!
Found the location where it was hidden but unfortunately no cache inside will need to be replaced
We parked at Tonkins Rd to go against the walking traffic and it was a good plan! Lots of walkers out and about and most heading the opposite direction to us! We have a few in this series but looking to add more. This one stumped us initially so we left with a DNF and carried on down the path, got some other finds along the way and then on the way back to the car, we grabbed this one with ease! TFTF Beautiful walk on a lovely day!
Could not find the realised the thing my daughter was holding onto was the cashe very funny thanks for the laughs geo daughter and cashe owner
My first on this section, very clever cache, looking forward to doing this section and walkA couple of days on the other side of metropolis in the company of TeamAstro. Thanks BorisB&Natasha for showcasing this area and contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
I did not branch out!A great trail. No horses seen - just evidence Thanks BorisB&Natasha and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! | | I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I
Having a few days on the peninsula, I headed out on the bike from Merricks to cache this trail. I noticed an item at GZ but bypassed it and looked elsewhere for a few minutes. After no luck, I returned to the start and discovered a neatly constructed hide. I particularly like the way the opening is disguised. TFTC BorisB&Natasha
Saw it plenty of times before we realised it was the cache. You guys are bloody tricky! Tftc, above and beyond
On my visit today I was happy to turn my blue sad face into a yellow one. I came years ago and had to log this as a DNF. Not so today, although I looked at the cache several times and discounted it before finally realising that was it! Such a great hide. TFTC
Woweee! Dont read too much into other logs or the name of this Cache Super awesome hide definitely need to be tactile when approaching this Cache TFTC
Impressed my 9 year old found this no time, I would have been there all afternoon
We were both super impressed by this cache! Took us some time but eventually made the find. A FP from us! TFTC
Aaaargh, you cheeky cache hiders! Nice one. Thought this was going to be my first DNF of the day. Patience.
Nice hide, coords had us poking around in wrong spot but when we stood back the camo was spotted
Finally found it after leaving it for a while and coming back to it !! Cleverly done thanks for the fun
Quick detour on my way home after feeding my horse in Shoreham. Couldn't find it - so walked a bit further to find 2 more caches. Thought I'd have a quick second look in my way back and found it! GZ not too accurate for me but I am with Vodafone so that's not to say it isn't correct sneaky sneaky cache; I love all from these cache owners
Found with icw. From the name I expected a spur line, but it was another clever cache. Tftc.
What a fantastic trail with individually themes caches. They are giving me so much pleasure. . I loved the different line that branched here Thanks again BorisB&Natasha
Back down the Peninsula. Out for an early walk along the Merricks Trail. This one is again a nice adaptation of materials, blends beautifully. Thanks for placing this wonderful geo trail BorisB&Natasha #2147
Ive been meaning to complete this series for sometime and today was the day. Quite a few muggles on the trail today. Id like to say this cache was a quick find but it wasnt.. possible holding my record for the longest search I have made so far. It was my last cache for the series and I was determined not to leave until I had found it. Reading logs held a few hints but I couldnt understand them until I uncovered the cache. And as for the red herring in the photos!!! Finally found the cache right where I was standing! Isnt it amazing that once you see it, you cant unsee it! Thanks BorisB&Natasha for another well constructed cache, another well deserved favourite point .. loved the series
Magic! Just magic! Honestly one of the best caches I've seen. Something to aspire to.
Couldn't find it so we continued on and found another 7 and came back for this one. Finally found it so obvious in hindsight

On a day of tracking

Found it. Had a little difficulty with the extraction as it looks like some maintainance is required. A little tapping by Midaho did the trick and he reports it 'fixed'. Log signed. TFTC!
Oh no, we walked all the way to this cache only to find it missing. Thankfully the walk was amazing but it was time for us to turn around
Finally, a day organised just for caching with day1976, originally had been planning Narbethong unloved but the constant rain would have been awful for bush bashing and for my little 4wd.
So picked a different direction, which the weather forecast said no rain, and the rain tapered off as we arrived.
A great series of caches, the longest walk I've done in some time-4hrs, 15km and about 24 caches, all excellent hides.
Found it but I think the cache container has broken its glue hold and slid down into the base, unable to retrieve with tweezers

For the first time in ages, Ilukaperi and I caught up for a days caching. Originally we had planned on going out east to Warburton way, but siginificant rain on the 4WD tracks made us reconsider. As we had never really cached much on the peninsula, we decided to head down here and the Red Hill Express caches became a high priority.
We found everyone in this series, with only one not being able to be signed (I have sent a message to the CO regarding that one).
This is the one we didn't actually "find"
We did find the cache, but on retrieving, the actual cache fell and became irretrivable. I have messaged the CO regarding the problem.

Today ManfredWolfgang, Earthbound Chief, the Shouty Spoodle and myself went on a mini hike to find some caches along the Red Hill trail. Manfred was very appreciative of all the new spots to sniff. He was not so appreciative having to constantly pose for his Instagram pics .
Thanks for the awesome caches, BorisB&Natasha, I’m just adding a favourite point for all.

Out and about caching with BeckNmonts, Manfred Wolfgang and jett_theshoutyspoodle….we planned a big walk for lazy legs today from Merricks to Red Hill.
No. 1 find on our impromptu geocache session featuring Ez.
Looked everywhere, touched it, looked again and found it the cheeky bugger!

This one took awhile but was definitely worth the find. Lots of fun. Found with Malonz01
I'm out on my Ebike along the trail today finding these great caches its definitely not over there so it has to be over here and sure enough it is signed and replaced...TFTC
TFTC! Geokid was quick to spot something out of the ordinary. I had a good giggle at the camo. Favourite for me.
See "Red Hill Express - Engine House (GC4PRWH)" for my general comments about doing this amazing 'Red Hill Express' series with a 10yo geokid.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to BorisB&Natasha for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Wow this one took us a while. Like others we looked at it and looked around and around. About to leave this one and relook on the way back to the car later, and finally it clicked!
Another clever hide. Such a great trail of caches in this series and the imagination you guys have utilised is outstanding.
Thanks again BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear. Really appreciate the effort gone into this series.

As Knight_shift and I were searching, Juzzmagic made a quick find here.
I am very impressed with the thought, and workmanship, that has gone into this series.
Thank you BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear. You've done yourselves proud. This one gets a favourite point too.

We decided to go on with this because these caches have been so good. This one was no exception in fact this one is my favourite, hell they’re all my favourite. Yet another favourite point from us
Clever, clever, clever. This quirky cache really made our day. Having so much fun on this trail, brilliant. TFTC.
As others have said, walked by this one a few times. Wasn't until I started thinking about it I realised this wasn't right. Love it. TFTC
We had both seen and dismissed it, convinced it should be elsewhere when our GPS said it was there which was a good few paces from here - aah
Another great cache, sadly our last for the day but a very enjoyable caching day out. Thanks for the great series!
What a awesome spot, we looked all around it 5 times before realising what it was
With an event on Elephant Rock that look amazing a crew of Neville_devil, AusFox;, Dromaniax and Donutholes was arranged for an early morning ferry ride and a day loaded with caches. Key caches were targeted for their D/T ratings and other because of the degrees from home for other challenges. Then there was also some unloved that was begging as well. All up it was a fantastic day with great mates with caching providing a good excuse to be out and about.
AusFox and Donutholes had to head home early so they caught the ferry back while we continued on a long day caching our way back home by car around the bay.
The D/T of 2/2 was very attractive for Dromaniax are working on a challenge that requires that D/T.
thank you BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear for this series

It was a very early start as team NADDS headed off for a caching expedition on the Morning Peninsula. Team NADDS consists of neville_devil, AusFox;, Donutholes, Dromaniax and Sims_family. Go NADDS. We had put together a list of caches we wanted to target, and we were also happy to pick up other caches along the trail. We were blessed with stunning weather, and it is always great fun to cache with a group of mates. We caught the first ferry across and picked up an Adventure Lab, and then started to work along the East Coast.
Mr Dromaniax has been working on 2/2 caches for a Challenge and here we found a lovely cluster of 2/2 caches, we suspect that they are 2/2 caches because this used to be the habitat of Tchoo Tchoo Trains.
The cache was in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear.

I walked past this about four times before realising it was the cache! Great cammo.
This trail is quite enjoyable, loving all the different cache varieties!
Looked for ages...just couldn't find this one today...hmmmm...ignore previous log, I have fat fingers!
Out for a walk this morning enjoying the nice weather, little chilly but perfect for walking. Out to complete the whole trail, thanks for placing all these caches!
The name for this cache put us off a bit, but when we arrived at GZ, we quickly spotted what wasnt supposed to be there. Another awesome cache and I actually haven’t seen something like this before so I’m gonna give it a favourite point. Thanks for this cache ) super creative
