Logs
Having just bought my first 4WD I was a little excited to have the opportunity to test it on some dirt roads today. First stop was here for this cache! With GPS bouncing around I eventually came back to the first place I looked and yep there it was under 6 months of leaf litter! TFTC
In the region for a 6 day June Long Weekend with GeoIan and Wombat 101. Camping at Elenborough Reserve, a lovely spot. Found with GeoIan. TFTC
In the region for a 6 day June Long Weekend. Camping at Elenborough Reserve. Poured over the maps for days planning day trips to pick up some caches and see the forests around here. Chose this one, as it was out there, and unloved. Not sure why its out there..... but anyway. We left camp 8:00. I parked off the road in CPT75-1, which appears to be long unused. The area has been logged in the last few years, so a lot has changed since you dropped it. GPS was bouncing all over the place, not sure why, it was cloudy, but tree cover is not that bad. Three of us spread out, searching all the likely spots, and slowly broadening the search area. I decided to recheck a couple the others had done, and with 18 months or so of litter on it, found the container. Interesting note on the last log.... shortly?
Tftc. Gps cords were spot on and the cache well hidden due to lack of visits. Cache log has gone a bit mouldy but will plan another visit for maintenance shortly.
Tftc. My third of day and second with a muggle mate as we were driving around forest tracks whilst camping at Swans Crossing. Tnlnsl.
Wow, this was a bit further out than we expected. The kids were soon bored so I gave the eldest boy the tablet with my new topo maps so he could navigate. The kids laughed at the name "Blackbutt" of some of the local names so they were happy enough. I'd pulled over to ask him are we there yet? And we were right at GZ Wandering through the bush with a phone, tablet and a GPS, the three of us had 3 gz's some distance from each other. Mine was way off gz and there was nothing around where I was so I looked at the hint. Hmmm, nothing there helpful so we all kept on hunting. Soon enough I found it and subtly said to one of the kids "hey look over in that stump". She got the satisfaction of the find .
We went on further as there was a picnic area marked on my map. Looks like no one has been here for years and years. It was a peaceful spot. Later we drove on up to Cold Nob and Blue Nob, just to see what we could see. Nothing.
Thanks for bringing us out here, I've often looked on my maps and wondered what was out here.
Cheers from Browngang

0010 While I had found No Bull I had never been out this way towards Swans Crossing. Road is in 'reasonable condition' tho a touch slippery where recently graded. Pretty rough on the tyres with the angular rocks in a few places. Just the sounds of a few birds to accompany our search. Soon found, dry and intact. No muggles
Another for the Night Caching elective book mark.

Having been in Pathfinders it was interesting to find out about an alternative for those youth in the remote areas without such a group to join in with. Nice time of night, and only a possum darting across the road to watch out for. Didn't take too long to find the cache. Dry and intact. Forgot to bring a spare pencil. TNLN

Found at 4:08 PM GAFF1. After performing some maintenance on caches along the coast, we were heading home along the Pacific Hwy and thought - why not have a go at this - it is just a few kms off the road isn't it?
Well it sort of is, but after negotiating the many curves and slowing down for the many "Slow down" signs it took a little longer than expected - not that we minded! Loved the scenery - just the same as Middle Brother that we are very familiar with.
Interesting to learn about the "Lonely" group - so there is no formal meetings on a regular basis it seems.
Cache was found in the expected spot and we drove right up to it [^]
Thanks NSW Lone Rovers.
Feedback: Looking at the hint now it is totally meaningless! A hint is supposed to guide you subtly to the cache if it is in a difficult situation. As the co-ords are excellent in this case and there are not that many hiding spots around - we would recommend that the hint be removed.

Visited this lonely little cache out in the scrub today and found it quickly after an awesome forest drive. Added bonus that I was FTF.
Been out this way before and loved the little creek about a Km west.
Took CITO smurf TB and left a texta pen. Gets a fav from me as I enjoyed the drive so much
Thanks for the adventure Lone Rovers
