TFTC,Out on a caching mission today to complete a Challenge cache that requires you to find 6 of the oldest 12 caches in Mt Isa and 4 different types of caches. Had 1 from a previous visit Visited trackables.

Found the cache with TBU1Bikesu - and with Team Q4 which added extra fun. Some caches were easy to get to, some needed bigger efforts, some were quickly found, some took longer .... It was a fun day out.Thanks to all cache owners who put out these caches for our enjoyment.

We are staying for couple of days in Mount Isa, getting a lot to visit due to the many caches in town. For Multis, Adventure Labs and Mysteries we see some places twice, but that's okay.On occasion of going back and forward, we take the odd trads as well.Thanks to all cache owners who have put out the caches. Day 3 of our Outback Way adventure road trip and now staying in Mount Isa for several days. Day 19With the QOGM event now over it was time to head up to Mount Isa to a town we had never visited before bringing us higher in Queensland than we have ever been before. Our aim is to do some solved puzzles, multis, the virtual, labcaches and some older trads, not to mention sightseeing. Our first full day caching locally we set out after breakfast to explore the town and surrounding areas.Thanks morrisminor72 for the placement.

We travelled from Melbourne and stayed in Mount Isa for 4 days and will go on our way to Longreach for QOGM

Day 84 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic, after a the JLWEvents in Wudinna SA, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, through to Alice Springs, Uluru, Darwin, Kakadu and Litchfield we continue our journey back south. It is also day 83 of a streak.

Staying in Mt Isa for a few nights more than we originally planned as we require a car repair. This is one of the oldies we need for the challenge Thanks morrisminor72 for the cache.

Day 245 - Well today the reason for coming to Mt Isa was to visit a cache in the Northern Territory as there was one some 212 Ks from Mt Isa a day trip was planed and along the way we collected a few caches it was a nice day for travelling this distance and after making the fuel gauge read full before taking off we were on our way. This day saw us find 12 caches and 2 DNFs for the day it was a long day with the stops but a very interesting day all the same.

This was our first stop for the day and it was a short search that revealed the cache in its hiding place and the log signed we were on our way.

Travelling through Central Queensland on our way back to the Northern Territory. Caching along the way, makes our journey interesting, and the stops are great to have a stretch as well. Stopping where we can along this very busy stretch of highway on our way out of Mt Isa. Thanks morrisminor72 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Sweet hide

After several nights in Isa we are back on the road again heading for Kununurra. We have taken the scenic route and it hasn’t let us down. A great catchup with our nephew here in Isa, and a tour of the countryside had us visiting several places we had never heard of. Love the colours and the extended countryside around here. We must return to see more.
Couldn’t resist stopping and grabbing a few more caches as we head further west.
This was a nice straightforward find to get the day going.

Still travelling NT after the Red Centre Experience but now moving towards Birdsville in QLD for the Big Red Bash.

Chance to get out and about Caching so we headed out to grab a few more unfound around town.

The container was broken here, so we replaced it and dropped in a TB to keep moving.

Camped at Corella dam going back in to Mt Isa today, after leaving the Red Centre Experience picking up a few caches along the way. TFTC

On the way back down the highway, our time in Darwin is over, now heading for the eastern states.
The caches we found we left to pick up heading south as they are on the correct side of the road when stopping with a caravan in tow.
This helped to break up th many long kilomenters between destinations.

#7210 - 08:50; Day 26 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. After attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs and then heading north to Darwin, we are now headed for home. We reached Queensland yesterday and after overnighting in Mt Isa, we were collecting a few more around the city before hitting the road and heading for our next overnight stop in Winton via Mary Kathleen, Cloncurry and McKinlay. Most of the caches we located were in good order, including this one. TFTC morrisminor72

Alice trip 2017. Day 24. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I spent the morning caching around Mt Isa then started driving east, visiting Cloncurry and finishing quite late in Winton.

13671. Next find of Day 16 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. Heading South East into QLD.

I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.

Next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
