In Melbourne for a Cold Chisel concert and staying across the road from this one. Visited during peak hour and thought it was a certain type of cache in a much trickier location. In the end asked CO for hint and then returned a to find the very obvious hide. TFTC!
Accio 10:07:23Down to Melbourne to escort my mum to hospital - giving me significant free time for a couple of days. Last day today as she is all good and coming out later on ... What to do? A few interesting caches in the very centre of the city - trying for a quieter Sunday morning (largely a success). Driving Mum's car with the disabled sticker a bonus. Managed to park right at GZ, quick snatch and sign and back on my way.Wow has Melbourne city changed since I was last here .... hmmm ... 1991? wow am I old. I don't recognise anything.#UUOLivesThanks gmj3191 for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12942}*
Melbourne to see Pearl Jam. Taking the opportunity to see some sights, walking around, completing some adventure labs and finding some geocaches with legend. Visited the LUME for the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition and then caught the tram back into this area to hunt down a few caches this afternoon. Success
Found with Gazania Rigens, as per her log.A clever idea! Fortunately quickly found.TFTC
In Melbourne for 2 nights stopover on our way to Tasmania from NZ. This was across the road from where I was staying so it was an easy walk by on my way back from exploring.
It was good to get away from the busy area by the river for a short while. The cache was found quickly. Nicely done. TFTC!
Thank you for the cache!I decided to walk here, even not sure I was going to find it. But then soon enough, name in the logbook. (Im short but luckily was still able to reach)Cheers from Finland
Having a pedal around after an event at Albert Park this morning. No trouble getting to this one on a public holiday. Nice and easy to do in the quiet of a holiday.
I identified the geocache GZ right away, but it took me a good 5 minutes to realise it
First find on Australia We used the hint, but afterwards I feel a bit embarrassed. This shouldn't have been so difficult. Thanks for the cache, and greetings from Finland!
After we were out and about in the city today, we also visited this cache. However, it was a bit difficult to find the hiding place straight away in the dark. But thanks to the good coordinates and the hind, we were soon able to sign the logbook. Best wishes from the Moorhelmi's from Germany.

Thank you for the cache. ?????Meerana and Andy_Cayoon from Germany.
GPS had us searching around for a few minutes before we spotted it. Nice easy one to grab.Tftc
Previous cacher must have been taller than I am. Thank goodness for the many nearby sticks!Quickly found and signed, thanks!
TFTC:). Seen these kinds of hides before but it has been a while. A small walk leads to a fun find. C.C
Started the hunt and realised I left my pen at home. Went and brought a pen. Been a while since I found a cache like this but once i realised what exactly I would need to look for, I found it quickly.
Called by to replace log only to find the whole back side is available. Just turn it over and choose one of the 40 or so spots to sign.
This GC was an easy find with some text leading the way, great hidden cache. Log book is now full with my entry!
Second time around looking for this one and fortunately success this time around. I suspected the form this one might have to take after my last visit and so the search this time was brief. TFTC
I arrived in Australia a couple of weeks ago for work, and once that was finally done with I started the holiday portion of my travels. And what a holiday it is, I will be visiting six cities in a little over two weeks as I follow a rock band around on tour. Along the way, I will be collecting geocaches. I started this portion in Perth, then Adelaide, and now Melbourne. Only a few finds here as I have a busy schedule with none Geocaching things, but here is one I did find.Despite how rare the element is, I had no trouble finding the cache here.---Thanks to gmj3191 for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
Amazing find! Havent seen a cache like that yet! Thought I was going crazy because Im used to looking for mint tins haha

In Melbourne with chychu... Just walked past Flinders Street Station and after some detours (construction site) found this cache. Saw quite a few of these in Europe, so it was a quick find... TFTC!
I had an idea where this might be, but despite looking for ages, and taking photos on my phone to help me see a bit further on, had no luck finding today. Its very possible I wasnt looking in the right place, but it seemed a good spot!
After a fun visit to the aquarium with the muggle niblings we had some time to spare so I decided to introduce them to the wonderful world of geocaching! They had a great time finding this cache and we added their name to the logs along with my caching name. Thanks for the fun cache and the interesting information!
Struggling with the gps and the patience of the kids. Better luck next time.
Currently doing some backpacking, primary in Australia but also Singapore and Malaysia. I was in Melbourne for a couple of days, and had time to search for this cache. TFTC! ---# Nr. 929 | 18. April 2024 | 15:20 Uhr
Walking back from the Immigration Museum we thought we'd go find this one. The hint helped because the gps was way out.I loved this building up the road, the trees and vegetation taking over looks fantastic!
Staying at the Mercure so this was our closest Melbourne cache. It was a quick find. Very creative, we have one like this in Brisbane. TFTC found on a wet afternoon on the way to the art gallery. the chikins from Brisbane.

Headed out with my host to walk the dog and made this the priority for the walk.Although not a cacher himself he spotted the cache after a few moments of searching around GZ. Spending the day waking around Melbourne before flying home to Perth this evening.I stayed close to the city grabbing caches and adventure labs.Had a break in the middle of the day due to rain but got back at it in the afternoon.Sitting in the lounge heading for home Ive collected 8 finds, 24 adventure labs and 0 DNFs.
