### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there cazza_thats_me,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what needs to be done.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED**###
----------
This cache keeps appearing on my Health Score follow-up listings apparently because of the DNF's it is scoring.
You may remember receiving one or more emails from GC Headquarters about it - see here: [**Geocache Health Score**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=search&q=Health&area=kb)
Given that the DNF's are relatively recent - 5 of the last 10 logs, I am wondering if you have considered the suggestions outlined in the Help Centre article?
You might also like to consider if the cache correctly located or has is suffered 'cache creep'. Have you checked that the coordinates accurately indicate where the cache GZ actually is? Even a difference of 2m, when applied with a tolerance of 5m, can make a big difference to where seekers might be looking for your cache.
I will leave it up to you, but as it stands at the moment, the GCHQ geocache reports will continue to be generated, you will continue to get emails suggesting your cache is in need of attention and unless you respond, I will, unfortunately, have to disable the cache until it is checked.
Once you have checked on the cache you will need to log an Owner Maintenance log to remove the Needs Maintenance Attribute.
Similar to Collingwood's match on the weekend, we used a lot of physical exercise, faced prickly opponents and in the end failed to bring up the intended result. We will be back!
Another DNF at this reserve today. Had a pretty good search, but nothing turned up.
Thanks
Thanks
Sadly a DNF on this one today. Were probably right on top of it but those caching eyes were just not working.
Finally found this one after three goes at it. T rating well deserved. Not easy to access on your own.tftc log full and needs replacing.
After finding the west coast cache in inverloch, we sort of knew the likely spot. Yep - there it was. Now, where is he cats hide??? Tftc. Cool series..
We scrambled around looking at most obvious place and other places but no luck.
Hi there cazza_thats_me.
We found your cache "Footy Fever - Magpies"at 11:16:00 AM today, & this now makes our find count 12632.
Our cache run today started with another aborted attempt to fill a hole in our D/T grid - the rain was so bad that we just headed back to the car. Our alternate plan was to log a random cache and then navigate from cache to cache using the "next closest" method before returning back to camp for a rather late lunch.
After we were suitably refreshed we trudged our way along the beach to finally find the elusive 5/4.5 cache.
Today we ended up logging 16 and DNFing 1 caches.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache around 2m from where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Been travelling and collecting caches along the way. This been one of many on this trip. TFTC
Fairly quick find tonight, although I'll have to decontaminate my hands and pen after handling a container with Collingwood logo on it. TFTC and Go Blues!!!!!
Out and about with xambo4u and after the event we headed off to find a few caches. Decided to do a little drive out of town. Quickly spotted the obvious location and cache was retrieved and log signed. TFTC
Out and about with 80 degrees and having tested our taste buds at the event we moved on to test our other senses. Having done a few in town we decided to take a drive to the outskirts. We have been coming camping at Cape Paterson for ....years and have never ventured this far out. Nice little town, can that this area would be the most popular spot Easy find, thanks for who ever dropped the nice pen
Thanks for the cache cazza that's me

After a very successful event at the coal mine we were finally headed for home.
With a short detour to let our dogs have a run.
I struggled as much as the Tigers in a semi final until the Magpie told me where to look.
Well done darling.
Thanks for the finals series cazza.

We had not long left Wonthagg's 2016 New Year Event today when we noticed 3 x caches in the area, so we made the appropriate detour.
This one turned out to be a quick easy find and it wasn't long before we had it logged and moved to the next spot around the oval.
Thanks cazza _thats_ me.

There was quite a deal of activity on the oval today as contractors installed an updated drainage system in a large portion of the ground. However, that activity did not restrict access to GZ. Despite accurate coordinates, the cache took a few minutes to find in this very prickly area. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache cazza_that_me.
On a road trip while over for the Melbourne Mega.
Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of this trip.

A nice quick grab today with YouCanDoIt2. We got a bit prickled by the bush, but she had it in hand pretty quickly. The plastic bag for this one is fairly useless now as it has been quite damaged, but the log itself was still in decent condition. I've randomly done a few of this series when I'm down visiting the inlaws, YouCanDoIt2. It is nice to pick them up here and there. Thanks for the cache and the series!
236: Sorcha1986 and I were out on a caching adventure this afternoon and this was our second one for the afternoon. The GPS couldn't decide in which direction it should be telling us, but I decided to head for what I thought was a likely spot and I the cache in hand fairly quickly, despite getting prickled several times by the nearby bush. There was also a little lizard in the vicinity sunning itself. Log was signed and cache replaced. The log bag is very damaged on this one and I did not have a spare bag with me to replace it. TFTC
My favourite team!!!!! This is the second find for the footy fever series, can't wait to go out tomorrow & find some more! TFTC
We saw the T rating so wondered what was involved so headed over. We over looked the hide at first and then spotted some camo to make the find. Nice theme on the cache container. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Picked up after visiting the area for a couple of events. Like the containers - that was a good idea. TFTC.
Found on the homeward journey after attending Gonefishen's mid year dinner. Far too many muggles here earlier today, a much easier proposition 8pm!
After finishing work in Wonthaggi, I grabbed a few of the Footy Fever caches around town on a cold winters day. sl Thanks cazza that's me for the cache
TFTC. We had spent the morning readying the Motorhome for our Sunday departure to warmer climes. I was determined to get to 500 caches before we left, so this afternoon did a loop from Inverloch through Kongwak , Dalyston and Wonthaggi before heading to Inverloch.
In my schooldays I was and ardent Magpie. My first wife was a Carlton supporter. To add to the mix, my daughter and sister are dyed in the wool Bulldogs. Because I took them too the football, I became a Bulldog as well.

Headed south to log my 900th find and start on the road to 1000. Arrived at GZ to find the cache partly exposed, made for a quick find with a muggle doing laps of the oval.
T4TC.
T4TC.
Found very quick as it was exposed with SanB and AmyLouB. Made sure it was covered after returning it.TFTC
Gotcha! Pulled off the main road to make a phone call, once I was finished I thought I'd check if there were any caches here - 64m away there was one - Love the Collingwood theme. TFTC.
Camped at Korumburra and today we went sightseeing, picking a few caches along the way.
Parked close by, and no muggles made for an easy find.
Many thanks for placing this cache, cazza_thats_me, for us and others to find.

Glad to have the kids with me for this one. While a previous cacher said that he felt the terrain was overstated, I can see why it was rated as it was. For some of us, this was too hard and I would not have been able to do this one. So well done Cazza for the good rating and thanks for the cache.
Girls were disappointed with team choice....so after some booing, log signed. Tftc

Heading home after a great couple of days in and around Wonthaggi. An early start meant we could collect a few more smilies on the way. Where the cache 'wasn't' left a much sharper reminder of our adventure than where we should have looked more carefully in the first place.
Thanks to cazza_thats_me for the hunt.

A great days caching with many differing experiences, some where I walked right to the cache and others where I needed to hunt around a bit. As usual I have enjoyed the various challenges set by the CO's and the fact that I get to cache with friends and am outside in the great outdoors.
Many thanks cazza_thats_me for placing this cache .

With a Terrain of 3.5, I was thinking I would need to climb or use a ladder.
So at first I looking up, But after a while I found it.
Out caching with Megs_q, SQAU, & Micaparamedic
Thank you for the hide cazza_thats_me

We found this cache today at 10:25am as number 5 of 24 on Our Wonthaggi New Year Event Day Tour. A nice easy one and no sport on here today. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
On the way into the rail trail, a stop at the footy ground for a quick find. Cool cache. TFTC
A beautiful morning for caching with cjfinda and robber44. Found this very attractive container in a fairly exposed position. TFTC

[font=Comic Sans MS][Green]I'm heading eastwards on a day caching in and around Wonthaggi with Square_Pegs after leaving Melbourne early this morning before sunrise. Later on, I got the opportunity to find this cache in good condition and with spot on co-ordinates.
It's been too long since my last visit. Thanks cazza_thats_me for making this an enjoyable day exploring

We arrived on Sunday morning to a deserted football ground. The coords led us right to the hide here. A different little tin, I haven't seen one of these before. Thanks for the cache.
We came to Wonthaggi for the weekend.
We found your cache Footy Fever - Magpies on 5/07/2014 9:16 am. This is our find #3854 and find #3 today. The cache is in good shape.

Tried finding this over a year ago when I was a geo wife's apprentice and couldn't find it. (Poor apprentice). But tried a gain today and had it within a minute! TFTC
After a visit to a customer was heading through to Wonthaggi when I decided I would come in and grab the two caches here. Pulled up at GZ and made the quick find. Memories of playing a controversial game of cricket here for Nerrena a few years back.
Thanks for the cache cazza thats me!!!

Today we headed out in the car to find caches that did not have too much walking entailed. Hubby not used to bike riding wanted a day off.
This is our final day in the beautiful area, we have appreciated all the caches we have found thanks Wonthaggi.
Started looking outside the fence but soon realised we had to enter the grounds.

We were fortunate today to strike a day that had sunshine and a cooling breeze. This was one we managed to get to while heading out to the rail trail. Thanks to cazza_thats_me.
A big day out on the rail trail today with fellow cachers Liz and Bruce and we managed to find a total of 79 well hidden and thoughtout caches. There was quite a variety of cache containers/hides, often the name of the cache giving a clue as to what to look for. Thanks to cazza_thats_me for hiding this cache.
One of three quick caches found in this town this morning.
The only distraction was a guy exercising his dogs by driving his car around the outside of the oval at high speed.
Cheers

It was my monthly caching expedition with Biggles Bear today. With over 40 caches and only 3 DNF's, it was a successfuly day's caching. Quick find after BB#2 backed into the nearby thorny bush!
Thanks to cazza_thats_me for the cache.

One of 70 caches found today during a day / night caching run. I headed down the Bass Hwy through Woolamai and Kilkundra and onto Wonthaggi where I spent most of the day. Once it was time to move on, I grabbed some dinner for the road and headed up north through the rolling hills of Kongwak, through Korrumburra, Strzelecki and Torwood before turning west, making my way to Lang Lang and then onto home.
The weather was perfect for caching and during the day I had just one DNF. I also managed to find a couple of caches needed for my D/T requirements. There were a nice variety of caches with some challenging walks and the trusty old bike came out on a couple of occasions. Plenty of great locations and some great scenery as well. Thanks to all the CO's who placed the caches I found today.
After parking the geomobile I made my way to GZ and soon had the cache. Thanks for the hide.

Found at 4:54 PM GAFF1. On my way back from a big day caching with maccamob and earlier with micaparamedic, I stopped to pick up these 2 and was horrified to see that it was rated a T3.5 after the caches that we had just done along the coast from Kilcunda to Powlett River [xx(] However after stepping down to GZ it was with a huge sigh of relief that it was found that the rating was way over stated
Thanks cazza_thats_me.
Feedback: This should be rated just as a 2.0 or 2.5 Terrain.

Found after a minute or three after not checking one obvious thing properly and spending time looking at other not so obvious things.
First off the ranks today is this cache and we were hoping that the local cricket was not on! Great a deserted oval which made for an easy find. We loved the themed containers as well.

The 2 events in Wonthaggi coincided nicely with a trip to drop Granny off at Grantville for a summer break and for once there was no time constraints so I could get some caching done.
My first of the FF series today and I hate this team so much I can barely bring myself to log this.
