Hi there Reviewer,
RE: The cache "Gnoo Blas #13"
I'm following up on my "Needs Maintenance" log which is now well over 60 days old.
There has been no action by the CO. The cache container is missing, it seems to have been abandoned and should be archived.
Regards
Ian & Penny

My Final find for the day. it was time to get back to camp to make some preparations for my departure tomorrow morning, before the strom catch up with me. TFTC.
Hi there Squick.
We found your cache **"Gnoo Blas #13"** today. (This makes our find count 17903).
Today we headed out from Bathurst to attempt the "Gnoo Blas" racing circuit in Orange, plus any others we came across on our travels. We started at #1 and went anti-clockwise around the circuit, proceeding to log most of the caches before heading back to camp. In hindsight we thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds, but were really disappointed that we had to produce so many "Needs Maintenance" logs.
Please excuse our cut-n-paste logs - we know it's not really a good excuse, but we find it really difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]
We found 16 caches today & DNF'd 11. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** The container is missing , the contents are in a bag & soaking wet.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards

Hi there Squick,
RE: Your cache **"Gnoo Blas #13"**
Could you please do a maintenance run to repair the cache, or perhaps archive it, as the container is missing. (See our recent log and also the log from 26/3/17).

Found what was left.
I found a part of a log book with dated and named. Then I found the cover with the name of the cache. I also found a plastic bag and one item of treasure.
Signed log and put everything into the bag.

Little bit of searching and found a discarded decoy lol. Fun find with Harty once more. Thanks
11214. Headed up to the Orange region with AngelG27, Sol de Lune and specimenX ("FASS") for a fun-filled weekend of caching. Lots of caches found, a few not found, and a lot of laughs had as we toured around over 2 full days as far north as Wellington which resulted in 124 finds for me.
An early start and after a quick stop for brekkie we arrived at the GB loop to get some big-ish numbers early on today. Interesting bit of motoring history around here. Quick find at GZ which is always good on a caching run like today. Log signed, cache returned, and we were off to the next one.
Thanks again Squick !! Enjoying this little series !

Found as part of an Orange and surrounds geomission with fitzy_1965, AngelG27 & Sol de Lune (signed as FASS to save time & space ) Top weather, great company and lots of laughs meant for an epic weekend of caching all round!
Any easy nab for us at this one [^]

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX, Sol de Lune and I (logged as "FASS") headed from Canberra to Orange and surrounds for a caching blitz over the 30-31 July weekend. We logged around 1000kms in the Geo-Jeep, selecting those caches that Fitzy had not previously found. I scored around 130 caches for the trip. The visit was characterised by blue skies, very green paddocks, lots of water off and on the road, a fair amount of mud, and good company! Still plenty of caches to collect and scenic spots to explore on a return trip. Thanks to my fellow travellers for a fun weekend, and the COs for all their efforts in putting out and maintaining the caches.
20th for the day at 0850 (my 25th for the trip). Another quick find at GZ, thanks Squick!

A lovely sunny afternoon with a reasonable temperature for a winter day in Orange, so what better way to spend it than to do this circuit on foot. Thanks Squick.
Nice quick & easy find while taking a break in Orange on my trip from Sydney to Mumbil. I really wanted to complete this power trail which I'd discovered while doing some GC research before heading off in this trip. Great series - loved it! TFTC
Orange trip April 2016. The day started off wet and stayed wet, but I had a mission. On my way back to town I picked up two caches then waited for a break in the weather. When it had dried enough to get the bike out I started my lap of the circuit. 19/20 found one wet and un loggable. It was great to learn about this old facility.
Thanks.

This was an interesting series to look for. Most were found but a few we let go when it was raining too much.
This cache was an easy find and after the log was duly signed the cache was replaced where it had been found. Thank you for bringing us to this area of historical interest and thank you for placing a nice series around here.

My third day off an Easter camp caching holiday at Carcoar dam. Today I had gone towards Orange for a couple of power trails and the various caches along the way.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Two choices one more prickly then the other. I chose correctly and quickly found the cache, TNLN thanks.
Came up from Vic to try to locate some caches and some warmer weather !!!! . Thanks Squick for this cache. Checked and seen something out of place.

Visiting Orange for the weekend and a day after the big snow fall, its was still a bit chilly but bearable even though somewhat damp in places. I had some time in the morning so decided to have a go a the Gnoo series, which was pretty good, a few caches missing or needed maint. but on the whole good.

Well camouflaged from a couple of nearby smokers who wouldn't have had a clue what we were doing.
Found this cache while in Orange for a vintage car rally. Was just about to give up on this one and move to the next and then spotted something a bit different.
Thanks Squick for the hide.

In Orange for a couple of days with my wife, and while she was out doing her thing, I hit this trail. Only took 90 minutes to get around the loop, but did DNF numbers 1 and 9...with number 18 in behind the construction site fence, so no go there.
Enjoyed the ride, the caches and the history lseeon. Thanks Squick...a good fun series that I hope is around for a while. Fav point added.

Performed maintenance on the whole series today. Replaced all micro logs, checked others and replaced caches no. 20 and no. 2 which had been muggled. Happy caching!
The second last day of our Christmas/New Year camping trip saw us heading from Wanda Wandong camping area in Goobang National Park via Yeoval, Cumnock and Molong down to Orange.
A power trail in the heat, why not. Found all of them except no 2, 4 and 20

We were so focussed on searching at the base of all the trees, and getting fed up with searching in the heat. Then bikerbuddy re-read me the hint & I made a comment on the difference between the wording of the hint & where we were searching. Instant enlightenment to bikerbuddy & he had the cache in hand quickly.
Thanks

We recently saw the film "The Giver" with Jeff Bridges. Toriaz also read the book. In the story the children are encouraged to use precision of language. This is what Toriaz reminded me of after we had spent more time looking for this cache than we wanted to, given the extreme heat. She reread the clue and she pointed out that "base of tree" (which is what I assumed the hint said) and "under tree" were different things. That was a light bulb moment. I walked around to the other side of the tree and then found the cache instantly. Thanks
Tftc did not think it would be there with whats going on near by i also found a stash of other stuff lol but left that and started running ! Ha ha the things u find
On our first pass in the morning there was a work crew with earthmoving equipment working right at GZ so we moved on. We returned late in the afternoon and they were still cleaning up next to the likely hide so we had to give it a miss again. TFTC.
Way too much muggle traffic to even attempt to find. Save this one for a quiet Sunday morning walk.
We didn't live up too our names this time , SOMEBODY put the co-ords in back to front DUH!!! We realised something was wrong when we had to climb the Hospital wall. After sorted out an easy find. TFTC
I love these pine trees you can just imagine them as a wonderful Christmas Tree. they have such an awesome shape. I would love to see the one on the right decorated with lights. but anyway, easy find once i'd torn my shorts on the underside of the correct tree, that's caching.

Well the race was on, ok so really not a hot lap but slower curise in the country side. Once I under stood the hiders method it became a little easier to do (not really using a GPS only had the in car nuvi so only got to within about 10-20 meters before the fun started. (Lucky for me my guide was able point me in the right direction). A great run round the track was had with little or few trouble with cache or muggles. Thanks for such a great trail.

Maintenance run today ........ Cache is all good. Work is being completed very near to the cache but is still accessible
A few too many of the residents were assembled near GZ to allow me to search.
Need a few close ones over the next 2 weeks so I will return.

Found this one rather exposed so rehid it where it will be safe in the same GZ. TFTC.
Muggles with orange heads standing right near the cache location. And not moving. We had to wait until the return trip. Thanks for not choosing the prickly one.
Muggles - having a nice chat. Fortunately gone on the way back - liked the marker! Thanks.
#127. Enjoyed a nice walk around the second half of this series as our first caching outing for 2014 after doing the first half of the series yesterday on NYE. TFTC!
Lucky number! Took little Formula 1 car TB. Sorry, will move away from race track... TFTC
Think I may have commented for this one in Gnoo Blas #12. Never-the-less, cache in hand.
Had some time for a few caches and thought the trail was a good option. and i was right a great series TFTC Squick

Found on the way home from a trip to Parkes with work.
I once worked in Orange for a period of about 6 weeks with a local engineering consultant and it was good to be back in town for an hour or so to collect a few tricky finds.
Thanks Squick for the cache.
