Yep, it looks like this one has been concreted over - no getting it back now! LOL
Looked and looked but no go, looks like ‘vertical slab’ has been repaired recently ???

Here in Whanganui for a mapping / caching visit. First find of the day. Disturbing to see the boarded-up shop buildings. Many thanks for the hide, found thx to the clue
Finally got back to this one for yet ANOTHER look. Still had trouble. What the heck was I missing? Went and sat in the passenger side of the car about to text a friend for a hint when I looked across and there it was - virtually waving at me. The container in my head is what caused all the trouble. I was not expecting or looking for that. Yay! So thrilled to have this one ticked off. TFTC. I am giving this one a favourite.
this was a good find. no treasure but all alguds did this while out and about doin Sunday jobs
Nice easy used to work in the tyre shop on the corner so was nice and easy spot
Going over some old caching trips and see I have overlooked logging this one. Found on 19.12.15 while up for a geocaching weekend.
Took a few minutes to find.

Took us a few minutes to locate even though we had the right spot. Helpful device for extracting the log. What a good idea. TFTC
I have been a bit slack during the month of September (only finding one cache before today) so I needed to get out to increase my numbers. It was palnned for a car full of cachers to head over to Wanganui, but as the day neared, numbers dwindled so it ended up just being myself and Tommygun9. It was a warm spring day with plenty of muggles out and about. I ended up finding 30 odd caches with three frustrating DNF's
Another quick find here. We were just about to put the cache back when Tufty walks around the corner. We have another quick chat before parting ways again.
Thanks for the cache and the smiley.

Today was a day to sign off a few caches in Whanganui. Next was a big walk along the river bank towards the mouth.
I met up with tommygun9 and spudnz again here.
Cheers for the cache.

As we were done logging this one Tufty caught up to us so after a bit more talking on the way to the car we headed to the next cache. T F T C RachelsRiffRaff.
SpudNZ and I headed off for a September afternoon mission and Wanganui was the destination. I ended up with about 30 odd caches (on a dot day too) and we met another cacher along the way. I had only found three caches for September so this was a fortunately timed trip. Thanks to all the local hiders for making today's trip enjoyable.

Another one where we could direct from the car - nice easy find - like these ones tftc
Planning on walking the river walk today. Swung by to collect this one before setting out.
Straight forward locate and retrieve.

nice quiet surroundings making this a quick park and grab, weird seeing the thingy in that orientation
Jesserfly pushed the container in before realizing there is a easier way to remove it.
Cheers

#1338 Had the devils own job getting the cache out - I seemed to keep pushing it in further - tools didn't help - then I noticed it had a back door. Phew! Freezing today - my last one I think! TFTC
Quick park n grab on a slight detour on way home. Actualy make that a large detour. Nice and easy. Good clue. No need for gps
a bit confused by the hint, but it made sense once seen, cache was wedged in good, but got it out ok
Almost missed this one due to the local muggles, but spotted the hide just as I was about to walk away. Nicely done TFTC
Caught up with a friend and dragged him caching with me. Quicker find than it could have been, signed and returned to it's hiding spot. Tftc
All good looks like a list of New Plymouth catchers. Mission accomplished TFTC! Blenheim Bear
Had to use a tool to extract it by pushing it from its Hidey hole as it had gone in too far. Thanks RRR
RRR thanks for the second to last cache of the day going back to NP time constraint TFTC
Have tired of repeatedly fixing this cache so have made it a premium member only. Have replaced with a brand new container and log. And even labelled it with our new label maker. Great little containers we got off Trademe. Now if magnetic nano's were only that easy to source. Go hard guys. Enjoy.
Unfortunately though the log book was jammed into the container, saturated and slowly deterating so may need a bit of Maintanence
A great caching day out with both mr and mrs capperz and of course Tally the dog!!
This was a nice easy terrain considering we had climbed up slippery cliffs (very steep) went through large amounts of water, climbed right next to a waterfall, jumped over holes which looked like abises and so much more!! And surprisingly this was all on a beach!!
An interesting cache!!
A lovely day today!!
Like what Michael Bubblee said in his song: "Its a beautiful day!!"

With the promise that this weekend I had the choice of what to do for one of the two days as a Father's Day treat this double dot day weekend was chosen to offer up a trip to Whanganui and an attempt to turn some more green boxes into yellow smileys
On the way back towards town and picking up the nearby caches as we went (nightowl19, Tally the dog, and Mrs capperz)
This one needs some love we think. Found as described and accurate hint but the log book ahs been rammed back in so we replaced the cache without signing duties. A good place for a cache any way.
T F T C and another R R R find for us

Was drawn to the pole at start (verticle slap of concrete) then found the real thing many thanks,
Headed south with C&D, for a full weekend of caching, with the first cache being found at 6.00pm Friday night and finishing with an Event in Hamilton at 1.30pm on Sunday afternoon. Both of us had certain caches we were targeting for the Geo Licence series, as well as finding anything else we driving past, or near. All up we found 165 caches, travelled just over 1700kms and had around 5 hours sleep.
All in all it was an EPIC adventure, exploring in and around the Whanganui to Dannevirke area. We found some great caches along the way and saw some great sights. Thanks to everyone for placing all the caches.
Soon hand this one in hand. TFTC.

A bit of a caching trip in the company of HKCB both of us endeavoring to know off a chunk of the requirements for the Geocaching License Series (different stages, different requirements for each of us), so what better excuse for a road trip.
Between 6.30pm Friday and 1,30pm Sunday I collected approx 140 caches (HKCB=155) and many of these needing to be a great distance from home, so little sleep, so much caching
Some figures for the trip were
1/. approx 1700 kms
2/. Caches mentioned above.
3/. some very memorable caches in Wanganui
4/. lots of laughter and lies
5/. 4 hours sleep
I remember being in London when Thatcher was deposed, and the celebrations that followed
thanks for the placement

kaleb quickly had this cache in hand, had to go through my caching bag to find a way to get the log book out to sign, finally two tools later cache is signed and placed back, there is a crack on the cache container. tftc
#5507. Took some finding. Well hidden. Quite a bit of dirt ingress inside the cache. Not sure if it was meant to be well sealed up, it sure wasn't now. Replaced in a way to minimise this issue, but the CO may like to check it out. TNLNSL. TFTC.
A bit of a tricky one to locate, an interesting hide and something a little different, many thanks.
Was out on a maintenance run yesterday - container is munted - have replaced container and new log. All good to go.
This took a bit of time esp. When I knew vertical. But looked horizontal.....silly me! Container needs attention. I think..thanks
Out and about on an Easter cache raid in Wanganui. Found after a thorough search during passing showers TFTC.
briefly checked container yesterday, didn't check the log, will need to think up a new container. How did it get so munted?!!!!
[green] Decided to get a ride with my friend that works here, and decided to go all out and do FOUR caches! Yes folks, FOUR!!! For someone whose aim is to fill in dot days, that's just rash, there might be three dot days later that cannot be filled...
So this is my first one. Easy find, but the container is getting a bit trashed unless, RRR, rubbish is the look you are trying to achieve (I think caches that look like rubbish deserve to be thrown in the rubbish. Someone will one day). by the way, you have difficulty one - not sure it counts as an easy cache for beginners.
Log signed, off to the next. There is light drizzle. Light enough to ignore. hope it stays that way, for the next hour, anyway!
Too small for a trackable

A caching day in the mighty River City.
A true drive up style of caching experience.
Straightforward find on this one for us.
Cache in order (although note that there is an 'out of type' log entry using a very bold blue felt tip marker pen that has consumed a good deal of real-estate in the log - this entry doesn't correspond with anything logged on this site; something amiss with all that), log signed; cache safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!
