I checked all the hint items in this pretty little park but no luck for me here today.
Easy find even at night!! First find and we were so happy!! Placed it back in its original place, along with a little gift
Had just picked up the cache container when the council gardeners turned up Hmmmm! TFTC
Getting a few caches with grandchildren, but only after getting a Pokeno icecream. Left a couple of small swappables. TFTC.
Quick find with Tramper Ted driving home from an orienteering event. This small park deserves a cache, thanks Vamber.
Stayed in Tuakao the night before we fly back to Sweden. Decided to try some cahes in the afternoon. Found it on the lying on ground condition! Needs maintenace. Tftc
Found it but gardeners working beside it, couldn't take out to sign log, sorry. Tf5c
We found this one lying on the grass about a meter from a nearby tree that I presume was the hiding spot it was meant to be in. Filled in the log and hid it back in the tree. TFTC.
Gps took ages to catch up when I turned it on. Took a look around in obvious places while i waited with no luck. Finally it caught up and i found it in one of the not so obvious places. Camp has half come off so tried to recover with some natural camo. Tftc.
Last time I was here it was a DNF as cache was confirmed missing,
today was over this way with doandhopers, I walked towards GZ where I suspected it should of been last time, and there it was 1st place I looked, no need for GPS today, so a very quick find,
cache needs some TLC as losing its camo as deteriorating with the weather, contents & log also wet,
TFTC.

A quick stop in the park. The coordinates actually brought me to a different host, and I didn't find anything there. When I couldn't find anything, I checked the additional hint, and then moved over to another host that fit the hint and found it right away. Camouflage works well, especially when wet, and covered with more natural camouflage! Thanks for the hide!
A quick find on a morning's exploring in the area. Tuakau isn't a town I'm familiar with so it was good to have some caches to guide me around the vicinity. Signed log, TFTC
Quick find in between passing showers while in the area to collect a few puzzle caches. TFTC Vamber, #9098*
Found pretty quick. Last day of our 4 day road trip from Hawkes Bay to Auckland and back to collect as many caches as we can. Log signed as b&p.Tftc
On an early morning caching mission with HKCB, Cats&Dragons, IamMrWalker and 11hpg11 before a caching event at 9am back in the Tron. Lots of banter especially with our very early start proving to be quite challenging for one of the crew who'd been at another event late the night before. Not sure what any muggles would make of us descending upon GZ along with shouts of encouragement from the previous finders sitting in the nearby car ... thank goodness for a quick find! Thanks heaps for the fun & TFTC.
HKCB sent the word out that he was keen on a quick mission to grab some caches north of Hamilton and whether anyone was keen to join him. Lucky for me, my wife was agreeable and I put my hand up for an early morning adventure along with Cats&Dragons, Kiwi69 and 11HPG11. We met at C&D's house at about 5:45am and once confidant 11hpg11 wasn't going to throw up on us after a night on the town headed off in the Geowagon.
Only Kiwi69 and I had not picked this cache up previously so the rest of the team stayed in the warm car while we hunted this one out. They were super helpful though with comments "like its over there somewhere" and then waving their fingers around pointing at what seemed like the entire park. Nice accurate coords ensured a quick find.

We made a detour on our way south this afternoon to come to Tuakau to find a few caches. No muggle problems at GZ and we were able to quickly find, sign and return the cache. Thanks.
Spending time in 2 cows. Had to grab the 2 caches in the area. This was very well camo'ed so congrats to the nieces for their first hide. Liked the history of the park it was very interesting. Had no idea until we read the plaque. TFTC Our first in NZ
We didn't have much luck at Tuakau - 3 caches looked for but just one found. Think this one may be gone.
With limited time today, thought this would be a easy fine, GPS led me to spot hint referred, but found nothing, widened my search, still came up empty handed ?, I soon had to leave as my pick up ride was coming, I will have to try for it another time, when I am over this way,
Yes out picking up a quick cache for New Years souvenir, was amazed that this is still there as was easily seeable. Cool little container with cool came. TFTC
Stopped off here on our back road trip south for a couple of days caching. Nice quick find. Thanks
Over from the UK visiting family in NZ before heading on over to Oz.
This is the nearest town to where we're staying so it would be rude not to at least grab one cache in the area. Quick find here for Mr Sten and our littlest geomini while Mrs Sten and our other geomini sheltered from a sudden downpour of drizzle...how very British!
Really liked the camouflage on the container, nearly missed it! Contents weren't too bad but could've done with a bit of a dry out, however the weather conditions didn't allow for it.
Sir Edmund Hillary and Tuakau...I would never of guessed!
All signed and snuck back into its spot. TFTC!

just a friendly reminder ( & in case you haven't read the logs) could use drying out & a new logsheet
What a cool park to discover on our way home from Ruapehu ( with a detour to the DMAX Hunt5).... forgot Sir Ed had schooled in Tuakau... Nice hide. TFTC. Added an interesting trinket found nearby...
A nice little park in the middle of town, and a good location in the corner, for a hide.
Unfortunately these round systema containers are not waterproof, so everything is wet, and the waterproof paper is full, with lots of runny ink. We found a spot to write over another entry, but it is certainly time for it to be replaced.

It was a bit of a trek to Tuakau for soccer this morning but nice to do this quick find before heading off to netball in Pakuranga.

We had popped out this way with Mr HeMaLuDy to collect something and stopped in Tuakau for some lunch. After rolling out of the pub (really good food but the longest lunch we have had in a long time) we just had to stop for the couple of local caches before heading home.
Pulled up right close to GZ and walked straight in for a very quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

Mr HeMaLuDy out with Keylev & family for a quick find. Pleasant spot on a nice Sunday afternoon.
Unfortunately there was a guy eating crisps on the park bench when we arrived, so we drove around the corner and parked near GZ. I went and checked out the interesting memorial to Ed Hillary, hoping to keep him distracted, while Steed went for a quick find. Back to the car to do the paperwork and a stealthy replace.
Who knew Mt Cook was in that direction! Not me, but I asked Steed who hadn't seen the sign and his guess was pretty accurate.

Visiting from Australia and making our way from Hamilton to Mangere with a few cache stops along the way. We made a detour to visit this little town and grab a cache or two. These trees are very interesting Tftc.
First cache ever for our family, and granddad Jim was even here for the momentous occasion!
Now that I am living in this burg it is well past the time I should have signed this one off. Well today is the day especially when there was hardly anyone else around.
A nice wee park.
Cheers for the cache.

Easy find after a muggle left her car nearby.

Was trying to do the solar system series but only managed half so it was nice to finish of with an easier one.
Was passing through Tuakau after running some errands in Puke. A cool hide by your nieces, unfortunately the camo is now detached from the container. Thanks for showing us this nice wee park.
Out in Pukekohe this afternoon so thought it'd be a good idea to take the scenic route home and go grab this cache. A nice quick find at GZ but had to sit in the car abit before replacing as a heavy shower passed through. TFTC!
Good first find for our family just forgot our pen so Didn't get to log it will have to return again
