Logs
A quick find but the log is very wet but we could scratch our name on it. Tried to dry out the container but it does not some TLC. TFTC.
A quick find but very wet so hopefully our marks on log show up! Found with JoBevNZ and Bevinet
Nice easy find very wet. Left a star wars card took nothing. Found with apleseed2
Found - thank you because my confidence was knocked by the cache further up, cache is wet inside and everything is damp, will need maintenance soon.
Nice quick find, thanks for the cache. The log was a bit wet but it was raining so no opportunity to dry it out.
Was driving past with the bike on the back so thought I would give this trail a go. Log very wet. TFTC
Hubby had this before i even got there. One more then in the car and back to Ashhurst to get the other car and then LUNCH. We are hungry. Tftc
I had decided that it was time to get the bike off the back of the caravan and have a bit of a ride and sign off a few caches. So it was down to Ashhurst to cycle along the bank of the Manawatu River.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
I had the day off work for my birthday, so what better way to spend it than enjoying a stroll along the river doing some cache maintenance on my series along the cycleway.
I stopped by on this one too. Cache is in good shape.

I traveled down to Palmerston North for a 3 day geocaching weekend to give my numbers a bit of a boost, as I head towards my next caching milestone. I decided to fly there and back and pick up a cheap rental car for the weekend. The weather was perfect and I had a great weekend down there.
I joined up with yorkshirekiwi83 again today for another day of caching, before our flight out this evening. We started the day picking up a few caches around the city, before heading out to Bunnythorpe and back down to Ashhurst, where we then went for a walk along this Riverside Cycleway. This cache was a nice quick find along the way. TFTC!

Vistra and I had headed down to to Manwatu for the weekend, we both wanted a high number weekend and I was looking forward to meeting some of the locals as well.
Thank you to all the CO's for their placements some nicely placed, clever and tricky hides, so a great variety. TFTC

#7601. Went for a nice early morning walk along the Bridal Path in Ashhurst (now called the Manawatu River Pathway). A few cars were already in the parking area, and some fisher folks were already about to depart. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet at this time. Quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Nipped over to Ashhurst to pick up caches along the river walk. Picked up this one along with the others in the area.
In Palmerston North for the day, took the opportunity to take a leisurely ride along the Bridal Trail. Quick easy find this time.

On the MTBike to grab the Riverside cycle series on a great track which was not getting a lot of use today, and on such a great sunny day. Did a wander around the trees and cache was soon spotted - TNLNSL. Thanks for the placement markhnz.
Really enjoyed the caches over this way - except for the two grumpy magpies who bombed me as I rode through their turf - always a bit unnerving when you are not expecting it.

1st of the day along this lovely walk/bike way. The wife went for a run and I geocached. This one was an easy find. TFTC.
Found with Danny Dangerously on 14/2/15, Dad only just got around to helping me log some older caches! TFTC. It was a fun walk finding the caches on this track. TFTC.
Out for a mother's day walk with the 2 sprogs. Easy find on a cloudy but warm day. TFTC
Getting a little ahead of myself as I've just realised I dated the log as the 11th instead 10th.

Nice easy find while getting the caches along this path that we ran out of time for when we last biked it in October 2013. TFTC
Today was a lovely day for a walk alongside the river...
I enjoyed finding this as it was a nice big cache - able to add my sons rattlesnake bean. TN SL TFTC

A quick easy find along a nice walkway. We were actually with markhnz when he placed the cache, although that was so long ago, it didn't help. TFTC
Out on a short road trip with tmann421 on Waitangi Weekend.
A nice quick find.

I've been hankering to explore the riverside trail from the Ashhurst end and today was the day. I loved the rural/river aspect along this section, so peaceful and very pretty. This was a straightforward find as the cache was on full display at the base of the tree (I returned it to the hide and covered with the natural camo). Thanks for the smiley!
Maintenance trip with the Seagnoid and the Etherkids for our cache series along this cycleway.
Stopped by on this cache as well, all well and plenty of room in the logbook.

Our last cache on the Track after completing the Riverside Cycle series, a nice quick find at the extension, many thanks.
WELL. MANGED TO FIND 2 TODAY BEFORE THE HEAVENS OPENED. AND. I DECIDED TO GO NO FURTHER ESP. AS I DID NOT LOCATE THE VERY FIRST CACHE ON THE WALKWAY. SO I WILL HAVE TO GO BACK ANOTHER TIME. TO DO THAT AND MORE OF THESE.
A Sunday in Palmy, how lucky could you get. And a perfectly fine, cloudless, windless day to boot. Too good to be true. Decided on a visit to Ashhurst.
We enjoyed a very pleasant walk riverside, finding caches and munzees (a very munzee rich zone this one!).
Straightforward find. Cache in order; log signed, safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Enjoyed the walk along the track today, nice hide here which took a wee while to spot whilst also dodging the many muggles also out enjoying the great weather.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
9:29:00 AM. Home for a week to catch up with the family. Out for a look around Palmy and catch up on a few caches. They have certainly sprung up in the last last 3 years since we were last back. Out for a numbers day and what better place than a nice walk beside the river. It was fairly sheltered here and few muggles around. TFTCSL
I was nice to be able to find a cache that was not part of the Cycle series. This has been a very enjoyable walk.
And then a different name amongst all the others. Thanks for thinking of us all and putting a cache here. We had a really interesting afternoon biking along it. Some ups and downs (nothing to do with the cycleway) but it was lots of fun.
Found with tommygun9. Bring our beagles was not too useful but luckily we managed to beagle it out ourselves.
After work decided that I needed a good walk so walked in from Ruakawa Rd and cached all the way back to the car, Thanks for putting this trail together
