Thanks to those who found this one, I hope you enjoyed while it lasted. Unfortunately will have to let this one go but will see if it is possible to revive it in different form. The history of the area is too interesting not to be shared in my opinion!
Gave this a long search for what should have been an easy one. Either I'm off today, my GPSr, or, both. So, I think I'll quit for the day. Found 7, DNF 4. Pretty disappointing.
Found during a slight detour from the morning peak hour trip to work. I'm not usually a big fan of looking solo for micros in parks surrounded by houses (prefer to do those with the geo-kids) but at least the park was free of muggles this morning. The muggle across the road that was referred to by others was also apparently absent from his watch-post. Dipped a few TBs through for milage. Many thanks JordsAU
Nice little park, again All7 grabbed the cache before us ★★ thanks for bringing us here
ALL& dashed and found it before us. I impressed that years ago there was a open wide space land - no houses except Army Vehicle Park there and now all the houses are there all over there. TFTH JordsAU.
Made a quick grab then had to sit for 10 mins chatting to a friendly council worker that pulled up on the street before he disappeared and I could replace it

Found at 8:02pm. After finding 22084 around the corner I decided to have a crack at this baby. Originally began searching the wrong area but made the find within a few minutes. SL TFTC

Arrived at the park just as a muggle left. Good timing there.
Looked at the possible hides. Hmmm. A few choices here - just wish the iPhone would actually put me outside the Hademobile.
Checked the obvious while waiting for my location to update. And just as I moved to GZ, I get that update. Grrr. Grabbed the cache.

Found on a side trip from visiting the nearby Christmas lights. Much quieter here. Ver interesting about he history here and we enjoyed the photos. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Found in the expected location. Fortunately, due to the heat, the playground was empty. Thanks for the cache JordsAU and Goughy2012.
Grabbed this one quickly during a night time visit to the Chauvel St Christmas lights.
Replacing it after signing the log was tricky as several muggles decided to stand right next to the GZ and have a long chat! Left and came back after an hour and replaced when no-one was around.

Navigated to this one with a mate as we were nearby; we followed my phone's GPS and thought, "I know where this one is" and grabbed the cache straight away! TFTC, JordsAU, another one of you never-ending amount of caches knocked off
Every year we come down this way to walk around and look at the Xmas light displays on the houses around these streets. Always a brilliant display. We park right at this little reserve (which lacks a toilet!) and I've always said there should be a cache here. Well there is now. I pulled up and there was a woman sitting on her front verandah who didn't seem to be watching me so I made a quick find and signed then replaced.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Another quick park and grab. A lady was eyeing us weirdly so we told geoboy to pretend to be playing on the equipment - and then we couldn't get him off! Thanks JordsAU
A nice little park pulled up and made a quick find thanks for bringing me here. Log ok with plenty of room left.

The BB geo-SUV was enjoying a service at a nearby dealership, so I headed out on my geo-cycle and gathered a few cache finds.
I knew where to look for this one, but the old man directly across the road was on his porch with a quizzical look on his face. I pretended to inspect my geo-cycle tire for a puncture and he soon went inside. As soon as his back was turned I went in for the grab.

Found while on a big geo trip away with tmann421.
Sorry for the late & repeat logs as just catching up now.
A great time had, some wonderful places seen, thanks to all the NSW geo cachers.

This cache has been on my watch list ever since it was published. Since i needed a cache to keep my mini november streak going and to help me get to 300 caches before december 23 (12 months of caching). I decided i needed a fast cache in the rain tonight. After leaving Epping station after work in the rain i decided id claim this cache today and not the nearby Bensonville. Having a rough idea where it was since it was on the watch list for so long i had a idea where to look. At first i was off as i went to far into the park upon returning closer to the street i made my find. Returning to the car for shelter and warmth to sign the log.
I replaced the cache and was on my way to my nice warm bed. Thanks "JordsAU for the history lesson and this cache.

A quick stop and grab. Luckily the park was empty, so no one saw what we were doing.
Park and grab... TFTC!

An easy find as I know the area and could see the likely spot on approach.
Interesting history. Its a shame we can't go back in time and see the area the way it was then. Amazing to think all the development in the area has occurred since WW2 as some places are so run down they seem much older.

HannahBandana pointed right to where it was.
We've seen similar caches before.
Still, the swings were awesome and Hannah loved the spinny thing with the bent pipes, especially when Daddy was holding on.
Thanks for the cache

I loved this park!
We had a great time once we'd found the cache, playing on the swings and whizzing around the spinning pole!
Daddy's arms got so tired from holding on, though

1st of 2 caches found in between drop off and pick up of geosons Sunday afternoon.
GD and I arrived in this park to find a mum/son muggle combo using the facilities. It was really good to have GD as cover otherwise I would have felt a bit awkward. It was in the first place I checked but I didn't find it on that sweep as I didn't check properly.
Interesting history - where would they put the ordnance these days?

24/10/13. 6:57 AM. Cache #1003. Second one today after Jordan Park. This too was a very easy park & grab indeed; one of a bunch of new ones that have popped up in my 10k radius in the past few days. Found easily in Ryde council's de rigueur hiding spot. Ordnance is a bit of a dirty word of late, with allegations that it was the army exploding some ordnance on a hot day that triggered the recent Lithgow Mine Fire. TFTC }:)
It’s been just a little too hot for me over the last couple of week to go caching, That and the Geo Dawg still recovering from her Knee operation, She’s undergoing Physio at the moment, She reckons she’ll right to go in a couple of weeks. She can’t wait. So I decided to travel down to Sydney this evening after dark to try to find some caches in the Frenchs Forest and Ryde area’s. I used to work at Macquarie Hospital in the 70's It was then known as The North Ryde Psychiatric Hospital, I can remember visiting a Dentist in Cox's Road, Dwyer was his name I think and he had books and photographs of the area just after the war, I wonder whatever happened to them, Great cache thanks for the local history. Great cache. TFTC
Was in the area so decided to tackle this one. Quick find and my first to find thanks...
