Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Spending a few days in beautiful Port Elliot exploring the area and picking up a few caches. TFTC. LNCU
We visit Swan Hill, Mildura, Renmark, Barossa Valley, Victor Harbour, Tailem Bend and the last night at Ballarat. Stopped for few caches on the way. We had a lot of fun travelling these roads and seeing the farms and wildlife along the way. We found a range of caches. Many thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches.
# 9251 It's my last full day in Adelaide. I felt the need to get out of town again, so I headed south to Victor Harbor, stopping on the way at Wilunga. One of the best things about today was that there was a cool breeze blowing. Spent some time on Granite Island but didn't see any penguins. Victor Harbor is a lovely place and seems geared up for big crowds of tourists. Luckily that was not today Log was a soggy mess so I supplied a new one Thanks mogni for the Traditional Cache
Found with gridge98 whilst in the area doing some caching apologies for the late log. Thanks for the cache
Very wet I started this series a few years ago and found a few along the way, today I returned to finish off the rest that were yet to be found, some of the older ones as noted could do with a fix up This weekend Courtneyrose_ and I headed down to Victor Harbour for the Victor Harbour 10k fun run, whilst here we did parkrun plus find a few caches around the area yet to be found. Thanks for the cache
Starving. Fatpuds accidentally finished the last of the brownies so ground out this find on an empty stomach. Off to OTR now
Found while caching around Victor Harbor for the day. Thanks for the cache and series mogni!

7years of full time travelling and we have only been to Victor Harbor once when we were staying in Kuitpo Forest in 2014. Time for a longer stay this year. Yesterday we were riding about on the train.
Just a day at the van today so we ducked out to find a few caches before lunch today.

The team headed off to Adelaide for a wedding for a couple of weeks in the caravan, exploring Victorian and South Australian country side, with many campsites to stay at, and many more caches to find along the way. Thanks so much to the CO's maintaining these for us to explore.
On an early morning's explore with Poppy the geodog found @ 8:05

In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
While I was looking for each cache, Mrs Woodyrothwell was looking for a photo opportunity. Depending on whether it was raining or the sun was out (the caches are a couple of hundred metres apart), she was either hanging in the car enjoying the warmth, or out taking a photo.
She mentioned that she had found so lovely flowers to take a photo with. When I told her they were a noxious weed that ruins livelihoods, she responded that nothing this colourful can be dangerous, like a teletubbie. tftc

I was finally child free for a couple of hours so I thought I would tackle the AFL Premiers caches. The weather was a bit iffy today with the odd shower and wind gush. There wasnt as many cars about today being so cold and wet so it worked out well for me. You have done very well on the colours for each of them. I noticed with pretty much all of them the logbook was out of the plastic bag provided.
Easy find, was not expecting to see it there. The log book is very wet and mouldy. Signed the log book with slight difficulty

Thanks for this well maintained series. Disappointed to have missed a couple but CO's have to win one or two.

after voting i came up to find a few caches in victor harbour. After doing some multi's on route and quite a few detours getting here, i only got as close as these two trails before heading home ( with a few more detours ) in the dark. quick find.
Neither hubby or myself follow AFL so unfortunately none of the colours have any meaning for us. But we did get to see some great views from some of the caches. Some were a little hard to find and some really easy. Some you needed to work out how to access the cache container others were 'just there'. SL TFTC
Decided to attempt most of this series today to see how there going and thanks to mogni they are all in great condition and looking great. Thanks so much for the effort to restore these and keep them going. I look forward to the new ones being placed!

The last Wednesday Wanderings for the puzzled puzzlers before heading off over the border for the Melbourne Mega next week. So Anymules has started his leave for that and today's crew was him, myself, S.A. Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl. Heading southwards today towards Victor we took two cars so the Owl could fly off early. A very long day (and night) that stretched into the next day before I got home but plenty of smilies, laughs and three of those dreaded DNF's.
Just over 5 years ago I came down and attempted this series. Had three DNF's then. rectified one recently and was determined to find the other two this trip. This was the second and had a bit of trouble at first but a previous finder got out and gave me a hand. Now this one if finally off my DNF list too.
**Thanks mogni for this cache. **

Out for a lovely day of caching down south, we had kidnapped Briana the Explorer for the day. We had planned for a day of caching with a picnic lunch onboard and a target of 37 caches to find to beat Briana's PB of finds for a day.

Day Eight of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I cruised around the Victor Harbor area collecting (or not) caches at random. We started with the AFL series then back for lunch, then out to Middleton and back.
Spotted the SteamRanger, but there was no steam today.
What is it with these spiky bushes? A least we are looking for reasonably sized containers.
Thanks, Robmc.

#11674. Day 8 of our SA holiday. Robmc and I are taking a rest after our 30km bike ride yesterday. Back into the geo-chariot we went and gathered up a range of caches and more DNF's on our journey. We did the AFL series and a few more before lunch and after lunch we gathered up a few around Middleton and more on the way back to VH. Oh dear, there are so many caches around here that need so much maintenance and TLC.
Another find, another signing and the contents of this one were OK.
Thanks spuddymoore,

Taking advantage of a long weekend and beautiful weather we decided to spend a day caching in the area. We decided to see how many of the AFL Premiers series we could find before we had to head home. The views from GZ were amazing. A quick find at GZ. TFTC
