I have been working on this one for a while. I used lots of ways to solve. Took me far too long. Found with cache claws and Minecraft lad. Log and container very very wet as container was on its side. Dried out log and container then placed in a trackable. Put container upwards to stop the water getting.
Great hide it took my grand kids and great grandies to help solve this one favorite from us tftc
Once again, as it is every couple of weeks, I find myself spending the weekend in Wanganui (from Wellington), and after my real life responsibilities had been dealt with for the day I headed over to Feilding as the nearest location of geocaches I have not yet found. I had no set plan for the day other than driving around (somewhat in concentric circles) finding geocaches, and this was one of them.
No problems solving this fun puzzle some time ago, and no problems finding the cache here, safe and well, exactly as described.
Thanks to spudnz for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… We’re on a big Easter weekend excursion visiting Vikings and anything else in between.
Easter Sunday: While working on the District Churches AdLab, we found ourselves in the vicinity of this puzzle. It didn’t take long to retrieve the cache, and the replacement log was in good nick… Thanks spudnz. TFTP and TFTC.

A nice puzzle that Mr Geckoh solved some time ago but as we weren't in the area until today, had to wait for us to get around to collecting the final. Thankfully a nice quick find, and thank you to the previous finder for replacing the log sheet. TFTPC

Easy find after solving puzzle which I done a while ago. Log was very wet so place a replacement log with waterproof paper. Tftc
Did this a while ago and forgot to log being the driver you don't remember all have done so checking on my gps found I had missed this one thanks for the riddles spudnz had solved last year now able to sign on the way through to greytown TFTC
Easter Monday, and that dreaded back to work tomorrow feeling starts to kick in. But luckily for me I have a fantastic cure for the return-to-work blues, geocaching
But where to go? Ahhh, how about having a crack at avenging a couple of previous DNF's?
And with that in mind, I set off this morning to head to Feilding. It was a beautiful day so the drive up was pleasant and before I knew it I had reversed my fortune with the two pesky blue frowns and was looking at what other caches I might look for.
This was a cache I had looked at a couple of times previously, but had always been frustrated by question 6. I had tried forcing an answer through the geochecker, but clearly at least 1 other answer of mine had to be wrong. So I ended up resorting to PAF in order to discover that my answer for A was wrong, so I was able to sort the rest out from there.
Arriving at GZ, I found the carcass before I found the cache. And when I did find the cache, there was a decent amount of water in it. I did tip it out, but the log was very wet and was ripping as I tried to get the pages to open. I just managed to get my name on the soggy paper, but this cache could do with a little TLC, I'm sorry my cache kit is currently down in Wellington otherwise I would have done it.
Thanks for setting up this mystery cache.

Mathematics is an area of strength so this is the type of puzzle I really enjoy. Solved quite some time ago so time to pay a visit as I passed by. Found without difficulty. Tftc
Another great puzzle which at times stretched the marital boundaries great to solve.. and finally sign of today..thanks Spudnz
I'm glad I wasn"t looking for this a month or so ago as there is a boned out carcass chucked here. The puzzle was reasonably straight forward but of course there is always one! Thanks for the puzzle and cache spudnz
Heading back to the East Coast after a week of work in Whanganui. Thought I would make it a leisurely trip and collect a few smileys on the way. Enjoyed exploring Friendly Fielding. Solved this a while ago. Being married to a maths teacher has its advantages.
Animal carcass is still there but thankfully all dried up and no longer smelling.

Up this way today enjoying the warm weather and the countryside. Found the odd cache along the way as well (as you do). Solved ages ago finally found today. TFTC
EtherLady is away at a training event, so I'm babysitting *AHEM* **parenting** the EtherSprogs.
Having just replaced one of the Seagnoid's nearby caches, we're now done for the day and heading back to the Golden Arches for a treat... or so I thought.
I turned the wrong way at the intersection and started heading away from Feilding. I realised this mistake fairly quickly, but decided to turn around at the intersection up the road.
Once there, I checked the maps to see if this side road would take me back to Feilding and noticed something else instead... a solved puzzle cache!
The retrieval and signing was fairly quick, but what took a long time was trying to interact with the locals.
Thanks for the experience

Had the riddles sorted for this for awhile now so made sure that we stopped to finalise the cache. No problems in the finding or the condition of the cache. Thanks
A bit of a geocaching weekend for us and at times we joined forces with other teams so logs have been signed either 2 Bulbars, 2x, bwx depending on how many in the team had signed the log before.
The weekend started midday Friday and finished about 6 pm sunday. We didn't go too hard and stopped for sleeps and good meals basing ourselves in Feilding . The weather was good all weekend although it did rain a little bit at night.
Many thanks to all the COs who placed these caches making it possipble for us to enjoy our hobby.
I must say sorry for all the cut and paste but if we really enjoyed a cache I will add a bit at the start of the comment so you don't need to read right through.
Thanks to our driver who supplied the car and the good person who put a thermos and a few snacks in the car for us so we could keep our strength up

MEGA TRIP 2018.
As usual with the annual MEGA event, we partook in our annual MEGA Trip. However this year was a little different from others, with much more sleep and a little less time caching than usual, but just as much fun being had along the way.
The general goal for the trip was to focus on all the new Virtual caches published over the last year, visiting Cape Palliser (for the Southern most cache in the NI), and Castle Point, along with spending time at the MEGA Event. With this in mind hiring a campervan from Hamilton and seemed like the best way to tackle this goal, plus sleeping in a car with four people, would just be too cramped!
The trip was a great success, and our goals were achieved. A big thanks to all CO's for there hides.
LEG 4: Homeward bound: Todays plan was to grab a few caches this morning around Feilding before heading home via the "Virtually Stunning" virtual cache.
This mornings plan was to locate a few of the solved puzzles around fielding, before heading north. I enjoyed working my way through the riddles, an easy find once at GZ.

Well it's the WENZ Mega Weekend and a plan was hatched to motorhome (as we thought it would make a difference from sleeping in a car which is our normal accommodation method) down here in the company of HKCB, 11HPG11 & Alpenmilch80 and head for a few caches along the way.
As time was of the essence and we had planned to spend bugger all time at the actual mega but rather head for specific caches that we would otherwise not collect.
The record keeping for this trip was a total of 1750kms, (fuel = $450) and less than 100 caches, plenty of Beer & Wine and I still call it a complete success as we got what we came for.
A nice wander through Kitchener Park and now time to collect a few caches around the area as time allows before we head back north, via the mountain.
thanks to all the CO's for whoom without this trip would not have been possible.
thanks for the placement

It's Mega time! This year we decided to hire a motorhome and travel down in relative luxury, very different to the last few years. Our team this year consisted of Cats&Dragons, HKCB and later on Alpenmilch80, and myself, logs were signed as MEGAHOAC. We went on a bit of a whirlwind trip round the lower half of the north island, chasing virtuals, earthcaches and anything a little bit different.
Another nice puzzle and cache knocked off the list. THanks for the hide.

During lunch time on Friday I flew into Wellington from Auckland to meet up with some crazy Hamilton’s (11HPG11, Cats&Dragons & HKCB) to spend some time at the 2018 WENZ Mega, Cape Palliser, Castle Point and then driving the huge campervan back to the Tron. With some hours sleep in the giantvan we collected some more geocaches in the area before moving on. TFTC
Solved this a little while ago. Was in the area today so retrieved. A quick find. All in order. TFTC
Did you know that planning has started for a Mega Event in Wellington in 2018? Check out the details on the WENZ 2018 Website or visit the event's page on Facebook.

On a road trip to hunt treasure. Based on the 600+ red crosses, perhaps the Difficulty rating may be a bit low, but fortunately an Easy find. TFTC, number twelve today
Out for a swashbuckling adventure with Pirate Pete to try and score some caches for the latest Pirate mission, both parties escaped parole for the day. Set sail southwards to gain some plunder. THis cache was one that I had not found, so time to make amends. Mission accomplished, this one is a wrap. Thanks for the cache from Blenheim Bear!

This one I solved a long time ago and decided I had to get it today since I was in the vicinity. TFTC
Solved this puzzle quite some time ago but hadn't got around to heading over this side of Feilding to make the find. In town for a hockey game this evening and while the boys warmed up decided to grab this one while heading over to the multi-cache on Makino Road to grab the required information. A quick find between passing vehicles in the expected location. Everything was in good order and seemed reasonably dry, despite the amount of water near GZ. TFTP spudnz.
After walking the Tongariro Crossing with daughter and son-in-law and seeing them off on their next leg of the Te Araroa Trail, we are spending a few days caching in the Manawatu area. Having spent a second night in our camper at the Ashhurst Domain, we headed for Fielding today to find the multitude of puzzle caches that have been published there over the last couple of years.
These Riddles are fun but some are trickier than you expect! Eventually we got some good coords. The find was more straight forward though, thanks.

Another partial day with D6NZ in Fielding looking to log some more solved puzzles and complete a couple more multis.
Simple retrieve while looping back to town.
Log book was simply to wet so we dried everything else down, replaced the sealable bag, and added another sheet to the mix for logging purposes.
Cheers.

Team up with Scoria today with the goal of heading off to Fielding to do some of the mystery caches that we had solved earlier , as well as doing some of the multi caches that are here. Also stoping by and looking for as many of the traditoinaly caches that we past by, as time would allow .
We found the cache it was full of water the log book was soak and unusable. We emptied out the water, dry off the swag and replace log book.

Love riddles. Had trouble with a couple tho.. log book too wet to sign. Need replacing. Tftc
I have been accumulating a list of solved Feilding puzzle caches for some time and this was one of the earlier ones. A very quick find today in the obvious place during a caching visit to the area.
Most of those riddles were pretty straight forward. I had this one solved a while back pending a trip to the area, one of a number of solved puzzles I finally managed to visit today. All good with the find.

Cache # 3,010 - part of a massive 13-hour day, doing a blitz around Palmerston North wider area with team WITT (Wandering Dragons, Infoferret, Taybee and TaybeeNZ), ultimately resulting in 160 caches for me. The KAS trail was the heart of this effort, but we continued on past that to a number of points further north in Halcombe and Feilding to get our numbers up. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Today we planned a shortish trip up around the Hunterville area to try to locate about 8+ caches waiting to be given a smiley face. When we set off it was cloudy and even had rain clouds around but as the day went on it came out lovely and sunny and so we needed sunhats.
This was our first cache of our trip so it was a good and easy start. all is well at the GZ.
Thank you for bringing us to this forgotten highway and the cache, and another smiley face.

Found this one with the help of my teenage boy who was good at riddles...
When I got to GZ and had the cache in my geo-vehicle to sign it I was suddenly invaded by muggle road-workers who put up cones and started digging immediately opposite!
I ended up leaving with the cache and returning it today when all was quiet again - hope no-one else looked for it in the last 2 days!! However all the activity was on the other side of the road so this cache should be secure for now - Took nothing and added a pine-cone!
TFT cool puzzle!

#6869. Enjoyed solving the interesting riddles. We came by Feilding this Saturday evening after dinner to seek out the final. GZ was all quiet when we visited. A quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. (#142 of 144 @ 20:54)

Out for a mega day of caching in the Manawatu with Yeetrees and Taybee. With the KAS trail under our belt we continued caching in the area with an aim of locating 145+ caches on this drive. And yes we succeeded.

Today I teamed up with Advanture Collectors to knock off the new power trail and to see if we could manage to get 100 for the day for the first time. An awesome day out albeit a tiring one. We both achieved our objective. This cache is just one of the 100+ caches that we found today TFTC
This was hard for me. I had to get help from the CO on "A" and "F" as I was sure that was where I was going wrong. I had the correct answer of "A" at one point before I changed it and "F" made logical sense. I was still wrong so had to review my other answers to find I had two optional answers for "D" and when I tried the other option I finally cracked it! Nice easy location to park and retrieve. Great fun, albeit frustrating lol, to do the riddles. Thanks. Giving it a favourite.
I solved this puzzle some time ago. I don't remember having to spend too long on it although, having looked again at the questions and my workings, it's certainly not easy. I am staggered at the number of geocheck red crosses. The cache find itself was a simple affair although I did drive past and had to walk back a short distance to get it. TFTC.
Had a great time solving this one and have been keen to get in and find it! Dropped some swag tftc
Enjoyed solving this one a while back and great to be able to complete the paperwork today, TFTC, #6896
Today's mission was a good one; 50 caches, getting my bronze CITO and FTF Addict badges, moving from bronze to silver in both the Mysterious Cacher and Social Cacher badges and going up a belt! And, probably most importantly, becoming part of team FASTA which, along our travels, took part in probably one of the largest unplanned cache convergences this region has ever seen.
Between AtomsNZ and I we'd solved most of Feilding's puzzles a while ago (I'm pretty sure she solved this one while I solved Riddles II, which we got some months ago) so as we set off today this was a good one to start with.
Thanks for the tricky cache SpudNZ.
Found with AtomsNZ.

This Sunday was designated a "Caching Day" due to an event and a CITO in Kimbolten, as well as some new caching and a nice little back country road power trail.
This was the first cache of the day and I've had this one sitting in my solved folder for so long it's nice to have finally completed the paperwork for a find! I love puzzles that make me use my brain! +FP

Midi YuGeo managed to solve all the Riddles quite quickly so was relieved when it geochecked on the first go. Many thanks for the fun Riddles.
I have had this one solved for quite a while now (along with other Feilding puzzles) so I can't remember how I solved D but I got it - sorry Seagnoid, can't tell you. The find was reasonably quick at GZ.
Some of the riddles were easy, some took a little research, and we felt the logic of one was slightly dubious, but we succeeded in finding the answer, and the cache was a quick easy find. TFTC
[green] My road bike was stolen a few weeks ago, and yesterday I got my new one, so today is its first proper ride. So I decided to head out to Fielding to do the last cache there. but first I stopped off to lay an egg, another in my no-name series, number 5, possibly the hardest to date, but if you've done no-names 1-4maybe it's not too bad. And a prize for the first to find it - I could not mention that on the cache page, breaks the rules.
So I am almost in Fielding and I suddenly remember I left my cellphone at home. So no photos, but also no solution to this cache - The pocket query in my GPS was from before I solved this. Go home? Visit a friend? Go to the library! Grabbed the coords, wrote up no-name 5 (the reviewer note took longer than the cache page!) and then headed off to grab Riddles. Easy when you know where it is!
So I tried the obvious answer for F and had a look at possibilities via Google Maps. Three answers. Plugged them into the GeoCheck. Nope. Tried with the less obvious answer for F and Yay! Now to cycle home. In the rain.
Re the puzzle: I just could not solve question D. Luckily it isn't needed as I had the rest. I'll have to ask someone how to do it sometime.

We solved this maybe 3 weeks ago now, but it did take us ages! Kept on getting nearly all the answers but stuck on 2. Then I would leave it for a while, revisit and forget where I wrote the ones I did have answers for and start over again! I still don't know A - fiddled about with likely numbers until geocheck said it was correct. So I got the right number, but I would love to know why it's correct! Thanks heaps - you come up with some interesting puzzles.
Last of the caching tonight as we used this spot to work out riddles 2 we gave up on the puzzle. Only to get home think some more and we got it. So we will pick up another day.
Out and about caching in the Manawatu, really enjoyed solving this one.

Never did solve A, but using google maps narrowed it down and happy to get the geochecker approval on my second try (after fixing up my wrong answer for F ). Good puzzle, thanks.
I solved this puzzle from 9,000 miles away (15,500 km).
Coordinate checker confirmed![^][^][^]....I'm solver #16 (green lighted checkmark).
Now if only it would send me free plane tickets!
I haven't seen a puzzle like this one that included all of these math puzzle methods and it was a fun time for sure. Thanks for creating this puzzle.
Since I'll likely never visit this GZ in NZ, the smiley will always elude me so I'll have to settle for this simple "Write note" instead.
Thanks again!

A quick find in the end. The riddles had been a bit frustrating, while the geochecker lets you know you're wrong, you don't know where! It turned out to be in just one place, which stardust718 was kind enough to point out for us. Thank you. So it was great to get this today - our claim-four-puzzle-caches-in-a-day day.
TFTC spudnz.

Managed to solve all but 2 of the riddles. I put into google maps the half pie co-ordinates that I had and then had a play around to see if I could get a logical place for the cache to be. Read the hint, put into geo-checker the co-ordinates I thought it would be and got the green tick YAY
Managed to get out this afternoon to get this one - thanks for the puzzle, riddles and the final cache

Took me a few days to solve the Riddles. Most of them pretty easy but had to get help on the first one as i just couldnt get it.
Nice easy find. Thanks
Nice easy find. Thanks
Having solved most the puzzles on listing day, and trying a few combos on Geochecker, decided to swing by after work to grab the final.
Aquick and easy find at GZ, grabbed Great Wall TB.
TFTC spudnz, another puzzle cracked thankfully. Giving my brain a good workout!

We quite enjoyed working through the riddles. I thought I had the right answers but geo check disagreed, so I got the teenagers onto it, to see if they could spot where I was going wrong. They worked out all but one, which I gave them the answer to, & it turned out to be the same solution I had already tried. Rather than flog the geo-checker, I thought since we were in Fielding today I'd try the solution we'd worked out just in case! Turned out to be close enough - found the cache straight away. So no green tick, & only one red cross - not too bad!
Left a pet rock - a gopher, & a TB. TFTC

Small change to Geocheck solution. Don't think any one had the correct solution at the time I picked up on the error.
B and C were easy.
D was a little bit harder, but I spotted the solution quite quickly.
E was harder still, but I think I have seen this one before, so it didn't take too long.
A was very tricky and it took me a while to find the solution for this one.
F had me stumped for a while, but eventually the penny dropped and I realised what the answer was.
A quick find at the final location.
It was fun trying to solve the riddles.
Thanks.
