Logs
This cache hasn't been forgotten. Council have been undertaking some intensive work along the creek in Crestwood Reserve requiring me to pull out a couple of caches until they have completed their activities. They are doing it in fits and starts though and I'm not sure when it will be done. I am keeping an eye on things and will replace as soon as the work seems completed.
After some intensive clearing it appears to be gone. Might have to rethink this one.
Help. Second time here, not too much of a muggle problem this morning, but once down in the D what next. Clue is too cryptic.
This is quite the interesting place for a cache and very appropriate to the theme. Had a bit of a search before finding, log slightly damp but still writable. TFTC.
I persisted with this one. Previous logs gave me hints about how it might be difficult to get to when the water is flowing. Then I spotted that out of place object. TFTC
Well, we found it but not sure 'it' is still in it's home as it was really quite empty aside from the log- shame if it has been stolen.. unless 'it' was wearing its invisibility cape . Spotted another massive water dragon here today! Thanks
Out on a first day of 2017 geocaching expedition. We were on an out-and-back route today and this was our furthest out. Not far from GZ we found $2.80 in mostly 10 cent pieces scattered mysteriously around. A NYE reveller with too mipuch to drink. Or perhaps IT was at work. Well IT certainly was at work on us and we couldn't locate what it was hiding. And it was kind of icky down there too. Never mind. We will spend our winnings wisely and return another day. Cheers... Gaztek
Find No: 5400. Visiting from Newcastle, staying in Castle Hill for a 40th birthday celebration, thanks for the cache jmaxadventures!!
We found It at very appropriate place for a spooky clown. The log book is little damp. TFTC
Steep slippery slope. Could see from above something different and out of place. Not to be attempted on a wet day.
Cache found damp but replaced.

Tftc. Mrs jaybeem had the right idea going down the slope, but balked at walking through the water. I plodded across and soon had cache in hand.
Of course we started with looking in the different tunnels, before realising that that was not the place to go. Looking around for other possible hiding places, soon something a bit out of places caught our eyes. Having some problem extracting the cache, but soon we could sign the log and keep hunting for other caches in the neighbourhood.
Cache check made. All good, Pennywise is still on the lookout for geokiddies.
A bit of a shocker today with only 1 find out of 5 attempts. That's unusual. Made my way down to the logical spot but despite a pretty good search and using iPhone torch and camera to investigate a few options came up empty handed. Maybe I was thinking incorrectly, perhaps I will have to get the book and see if it gives me some guidance. Thanks jmaxadventures.

Jendid the finding of this one as my shoes weren't equipped for a steep slope like this. From where I stood, I spotted the odd stone hiding the cache!

I felt in man made holes, took a trip up two tunnels and then read a past log and checked the only other likely place. I fought off some foliage and struggled to extract the prize. TFTC
'IT' almost got me & I nearly ended up flat on my backside. But I managed to side-step it's lunge and managed to grab it - sign it & return it unscathed
Deep inside jmax territory and clocking up the DNF's at a rate of knots, I was pleased when I hit GZ and spotted the cache within a few minutes. Retrieving it was... interesting. Having read about 'It', I was waiting for a hand to pop out and grab my wrist, pulling me in. Speed was the key. SL as the second finder for 2015. Log is in great condition. TFTC jmax!
Found together with rogerw3 while geocaching in the area.
This one was a puzzle! The map shows it about 125 metres distant, at a place that could fit the clues.
Because we were working off a paper print-out, we trotted over to the mapped spot and had a good seach -- but entirely in vain!
Then we followed the published coordinates and discovered it exactly where a GCA moveable was placed; in fact, the GCA moveable had been left inside the GC cache by someone unfamiliar with GCA moveables.
So all ended well. However, we were left with the mystery of how a cache could appear on a map 125 metres away from the (accurate) published coordinates. Never saw this happen in six years of geocaching.
Kind of a yuckly place, but rogerw3 got his hands on it pretty quickly. No need to explore the various tunnels unless you really want to do it!
Rescued the misplaced GCA moveable. LNSL.
Many thanks to jmaxadventures for the hide!

Found It hiding, but brought It to light, signed It and returned It to where It belonged. Thankfully It hadn't been raining too much lately. That's It.
It was in a bit of a nasty spot. I wasn't too keen to poke my hand in there. But as they say ... Fortune goes the the brave, or words to that effect. Thtc.
Set up at a local caravan park, and went out to pick up a few caches.
Waited for a few muggles to leave, then cache found quickly as it was partly exposed.
Signed the log, and hid a little better.
Many thanks for placing this series, jmaxadventures, for us and others to find.

Awesome pipes. Lots of rubbish around GZ but nothing resembling a cache. Will revisit.

2 different buses took me to crest wood reserve to my daily walk through Sydney
Stephen King, yes, and "it" was one of my favorites years and years ago...
GZ was wet and slippery and a bit further spotted the canvas of winny the pooh.... "It" striked again...

Yes, Pennywise has struck again. Poor pooh bear is his latest victim. Beware!!!
Found it! This was the first find of the day's "geocoaching" tour we took with Jmaxadventures as our coach and guide. This one was not too tricky to find.
Thanks J for a fun cache. SL and made some swaps.

Today I planned a nice walk around the Baulkham Hills.
I walked along beautiful tracks and boardwalks in the park.
I found many caches on my way, and all of them were placed with great effort and thought, well camouflaged. Some took quite a bit of time to find because all of them were unique.
The trail was so much fun.
Thank you

Took me a while, and yes, did the ninja turtle thing and admired the graffiti. This was my second find of my first day of Geocaching. To those who ahd to send geohusbands, come on! I'm female and 49! LSTS TFTC
Finally found it, second attempt, had to send Mr to find this one! Took a bit of looking but finally got it. TFTC
Did not find it to dark in bush
Hint: do not try to find cache in bush if t is night or dark mum spent half an hour chasing me with a tree

Found it on a windy winter Sunday while walking the dog in the area. After finding "Tangled" further along the track we headed down into the drain for this one. A nice quick find. TFTC
A quick and easy find, though I did visit the scary dark tubular places anyways, I mean, why not...
Thought it would take us longer to find but no trouble on a beautiful sunny day
Glad you didn't put it where you intended to, (I'm not that brave!)............... we walked through the tunnel as it was just starting to get dark.................... spooky place. Geoteen found something looking out of place and sure enough - there it was........... Lots of goodies in there (including a really fancy yoyo - which we left)... TFTC
My geo eyes could tell where this was straight away as something just looked a little out of place.

Canary waited up top while I gingerly felt my way over to the GZ. The water looked disgusting & was determined not to slip into it!
I'd just found the cache, and was about to open it when I heard some new voices asking Canary if we'd found the cache. Bourkebornandbred were also after this cache today!
Thanks . It was only last week that one of children asked me why some people said clowns were scary. So I pulled up some pictures of Pennywise on google. That child is now terrified of clowns .

After my previous DNF at "Beer O'Clock" I thought I'd continue on and try to find this one. Managed to find an easy way down and soon pieced together the clues, could this be it?? Yep, had CIH in a few minutes, making sure nobody watching, walked a bit into the tunnel nearby SL TN left a lanyard. Returned Pennywise to his hiding spot, and added a bit more camo to make it less conspicuous. TFTC
Wow! That is a big sized small container. Pity it couldn't be hidden the way you intended. I've found some great tunnel caches in Canberra. BTW - I hate clowns and I was not a fan of It, the cache was much more pleasant.
Thanks for the cache - and May the Fourth be with you! Tricky to get to after a day of rain
I made it to this cache shortly after school kids had been let out, and there was a large group waiting for buses, which thankfully arrived just as I did. Although I felt slightly uncomfortable loitering around a school at this time of day, I bit the bullet and made my way cautiously to GZ. Nothing stood out immediately, and I had a bad feeling that this might not be my lucky day. I retreated to safer territory, reviewed some previous log entries, and after a couple of minutes returned to GZ to continue the search. After poking around a few places I spied the tell-tale sign of a cache hiding spot and soon uncovered the cache container. It has been wedged in place pretty well, in fact too well, I was unable to remove it, however thankfully I was able to extract the log and sign without removing the container. Replaced as found and made a hasty retreat without arousing suspicion. TFTC jmaxadventures!
Closest safe ground revealed nowhere for a cache of this size. Spotted a geotrail of sorts and had to give it a go. Already spooked with the theme, thankfully spotted some standard camo and a larger than expected container appeared.

After the DNF at Tangled, I walked here and made a fairly quick find once I'd worked out where I needed to be. Before I could make the grab, though, the two cachers I'd spotted at Stumped... turned up.
Let them make the find. Nice to meet two new cachers - zstorm and RickyLuxury.
Nice cache insert... wasn't expecting that.

This sure would be a creepy spot at night. Could hear rustles in the bushes nearby too.
Walked through and back, had a look at previous spot, then made the find after noticing a caching telltale sign.
Cool container, thanks for the cache!
