Boys doing a lap and a half to my one, tftc, hunting down the sign was a mish! Grass as tall as me!
Sehr gut gefunden. Schöner Trail, eigentlich für bikes aber zu Fuß auch gut. DfdC
After a day of driving, walking & caching we settled in on Albert Town camp ground. Still a couple of hours of daylight left after dinner & I was restless. Mr Curzzz was suffering from a painful toe though & didn't fancy the 2k there & back walk to find the cache. So headed off on my own. A bit wary of being on the cycle track, but as it was late I encountered only one bike the entire way. Got to GZ & started the search. I'd paid way too much attention to the second part of the hint & spent ages searching under rotten wood & among long grass, getting sandals full of grass seeds & prickly burrs, very uncomfortable. Why,oh why didn't I think to look there first! Such an easy find that I made so difficult. A bit of water in the container, but log nice & dry. Signed & stumbled back to camp, pausing now & then to pick burrs out of my feet. This one hasn't been found for a while, but still there & thanks for placing.
Staying at Albert Town, I took frustrations of the van issues, but going for a hike to find this.
Thanks for the walk and the cache, plenty bikers out today.

#3,713: Wrong-way Smiley!I came to this one on a nice spring MTB ride around this part of the lake. I went to the end of Deans Bank and back, and had a GREAT time!Found in good shape!SL/TFTC!
Thanks for the great cache! Dean’Bank is such a nice trail to ride, and this cache was a nice rest near the end.
Next time, OveckaOve: read hint properly. Found after shorter working Friday, waiting for picking salmon up nearby.
Great first ride on the MTB track on my new bike and a geocache at the same time, perfect day. Tftc

Dancing Queen 25252 and myself are on a 4-weeks-geocaching-tour in New Zealand with additional 4 stopovers. Many thanks for the cache and best regards from two German geocachers.
The turtle found this Cache after a short walk from the camping ground along the beautiful river. TFTC
Nice quick wee cache, especially if you take the 4WD track like we did! TFTC!
While on a trip of a couple of weeks in Queenstown/ Wanaka area with a rental car, where they went skiing, then onto Wanaka to meet our daughter and grand children for a week there again but while they are skiing - i Geo. cached as i am banned from skiing due to repeated breakages!! I also went on a bus tour to Te anau and out on the lake to the caves which were just great to see. I drove up towards Kingstown another day and collected a few caches en route. unfortunately i didn't have time to visit the Cookie cache but hopefully another time if there is another time..Lady of the Lake again stumped me!!!! While at Wanaka I walked around parts of the lake and on Bike trails etc, and then we went on a drive up to Lake Hawea and a day walk up to diamond lake etc having previously done the Iron Hill walk. Wanaka always looks so beautiful esp with the sunny days which we had a lot of the time! Thank you for this cache and another smiley face. We walked along from the reserve and send grand child in to do the final
Found when going for the short trip around whn we stayed a night in the campground.

Thanks for hiding. I enjoyed the deans bank mountainbike track very much and was glad to find the cache at a calm morning. Really great views up here!
Together with Fenz i had the pleasure to visit New Zealand. We were traveling around for quite some time and thought: Why not combine that with some geocaching! That doubled the fun and we found a lot nice places we wouldnt have, if we werent looking for the boxes invisible to the other tourists. For details on our cache finds see the logs of Fenz. We want to thank all the owners for their effort, the nice hides and the fun we had on our journey! Definitely gonna come back to you Kiwis, greetings from the other end of the world, keep it on!
Top of the world! Got this far on our folders. Thought we'd now opt for 4wd but are going to continue on Deans. At the first summit walked across to see the downhill track. Couldn't understand the stairs- do you go around or walk down. Then 3 bikes came by. Ah!!!! You jump the steps. NINO TFTC
Found on 22/01/2016.

Found this one for the 'Hello 2016' souvenir. Amazing spot and views overlooking the Clutha, thanks for bringing us here! Also dropped off TB. TFTC
Out for a Sunday drive in the Merc and managed to take it along this 4WD track. Cache found but the tree is rotting so may need a check for a stable perch. Good views nearby.
Came via 4wd to gate and then walked. Track busy dispite temp around 10 degrees. Well hidden. Iinteresting views.
We did this one in the dark, quick find and then went to the bank and look over Albert town. We tested the strength of the torches by seeing if we could reach the opposite bank, stunning night with clear skies and huge moon
Doing it together with Jojo-Ritter while mountainbiking...very nice track and very nice point with a beautiful view! JoSa still on the road!
I got a few bemused looks from the group I was riding with, when I dived off into the bushes. Glad I stopped on the way in, I might have forgotten on the way back. What a great ride. Thanks.
A kayak journey down the river lead us to the cache. But a very steep climb up. I was glade we found the cache. As to get down was a major mission. Neither the less we managed to get up and down to continue to heading down the river. Tftc
This track is new since we were last in Wanaka so a must-do. Stopped on the outward journey. Really nicely done, uses the terrain beautifully. Mr D raved over the curves; Mrs D gave quite a bit of aural feedback on the interesting bits and was glad to get to the easy ride back. We'll be back to do it again next holidays!
Quick find while out on the MTB staying at the outlet camp.TFTC. would done the complete circuit if time permitted.
A great bike ride from Luggate, round Deans bank, Hawea for a late lunch and back to Luggate, all on a beautiful Autumn day. TFTC
Another trip around Deans bank, this time I stopped to find this cache. Cheers all good. TFTC.
During my Mountain Bike trip I found this one.

We had no trouble driving to the cache location, and it didn’t take too long to find it, though we did have quite a few passing cyclists to contend with. TFTC
We drove in to this cache. Great views over the river from here.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Very nice way to the cache, but the weather was rainy and windy. Good hiding place.
Biked here before, drove today, lotsa bikers but none when it mattered. Thanks
Drove out to GZ in the 4WD. Remember coming here years ago to fish Deans bank. the bank looks a lot steeper now! Nice hide. TFTC
Hot dusty drive along the 4wd track and then a straight forward find. Watch for the thorns, they bite! TFTC.
*FTF* camped up for the night at the camping ground and took an evening stroll after dinner. Very pleasantly surprised to find a clean logbook when we opened the cache. Great location for a cache. TFTC
