Thanks Graham51 for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, Sunset Beach - The Phoenix, was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #2326 at 15:09 on 23/11/2024. The water here is AMAZING! I could not get over how clear it was. Thanks for placing this cache here and bringing us to this awesome spot.
A lovely little beach with crystal clear water! Found the beasty without a hassle. Thanks for the cache Graham51
Despite the grey day we enjoyed our walk along the beach to this one. Husband is on fire be quickly spotted this one. TFTC
We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to Graham51 for the generation of this nice cache Sunset Beach - The Phoenix (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Zozetta and I headed down to Dunalley this morning with the aim of finding a few caches. A great day out with good a total of 21 finds and some new locations discovered. We started with a solved puzzle before moving onto the new series on Blackman Bay road then heading back towards town, via the scenic lookout, then detoured to Forcett on the way home to quickly grab a multi.
We were near this cache a couple of times quite a few months ago and, as we were with some people who aren’t quite as enthusiastic about caching as I am, we decided not to attempt it. Today I was back with Zozetta and we made a quick find, cache is in good condition.
Thanks for the cache Graham51!

What a fabulous day for a walk on the beach. New moon so the tide was right in, good for a shallow wade across the shoals to cool off. After a long rest under the shade of a Casuarina tree the tide was receding. All the soldier crabs came out and covered the ribs of sandy shoals.

It's go home to NZ day today, though our flight out of Hobart was delayed, and we missed our connection so an extra night away in Auckland. I'd loaded the phone with one last PQ and this cache was the only we stopped for and capped off an epic week in Tasmania, cheers all.
We had a weeks holiday booked in Tasmania as a way of celebrating mrs capperz's 60th birthday. What can I say but WOW. What an awesome state and was everything we'd seen and heard about this gem of a place. My main PQ had only Earthcaches and Virtuals and aside from an old cache for my missing month stats I only turned the GPS on when we were stopping somewhere anyway, what a great way to tour a place. Managed one complete set of Ad Labs at the airport, and started another 6 adventures with no intention to complete. Over 50 'real' caches were completed and left behind a couple of trackables to continue their journeys.
I will upload the associated pictures and answers over the next few days or so, need to start to make a dent in my finds backlog.
Oh, and thanks to all COs for their hides, much appreciated for this New Zealander.

Time to head South as I was running out of days on my Tassie road trip. Not entirely sure where to go, or what to look at just yet. Only that I need to work on my stats and find some more D3 and T3 caches on the way.
Taking the detour off the main highway onto these dirt roads make the journey more interesting. Though doing the bushbash or scramble in shorts and sandals can get a bit painful at times.
Thanks for the cache.

Gorgeous location I have always wanted to stop at. We are visiting our home town from Victoria and was a perfect way to end our trip. Thank you.
I can tell i'm gonna have to come here for a sunset one evening for sure. The right lighting / tide and even cloud [cirrus cloud for that 'fire in the sky' result] will be unreal
Today at 13:22 on Tue 30/3/21, the cache was found and the log signed.
All is good and dry within the cache

Beautiful beach, we often stop here on our way trough for the geo kids to stretch there legs. It's nice to see a geocache here now
Stop on our journey. After a short hike we were able to find this cache. Thanks from Switzerland.
Great day to do this cache. Huge seal asleep on the beach near cache. I wonder if he was looking for the geocache too?
Found it when staying at Hobart, on a trip to the Tasman Peninsula, during my motorcycle holiday on this marvelous island.
Très jolie plage. Merci pour la cache. L'objet voyageur repart vers d'autres aventures.
On the way to the airport the last cache from our Tasmanië holiday

Had planned on getting this one on the way to Port Arthur on Saturday but fairly heavy drizzle made us rethink that idea and we decided we would tackle it as we left the peninsula instead.
Arrived on a beautiful day today and had a very pleasant walk along the beach to GZ. Loved crunching the sea shells underfoot with my boots. Something very relaxing about the sound that makes.
A quick find was made at GZ right near the start of the roadworks.
Thanks.

Found during a fantastic trip to Tasmania for the fortnight. Thanks for the cache Graham51!
Pretty sure it would have been an amazing sunset tonight but it would have meant waiting around for another couple of hours. Nevertheless, the tide was out and the sun was low making it a very picturesque view when we visited (see pic). TFTC!

We were camping at the nearby pub and walked down to grab this at sunset. We got to 7m from the GZ and read the hint. Yeah...no.
A cache we found while driving north up the east coast. A nice smooth find today... Thanks Graham51
Thanks for the cache Graham51. Out and about today with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP. I don't know how many times I have driven past this beach on my way to the Peninsula, yet I have never stopped and taken a walk along it. Well today, we had a reason to go for a stroll - nice little walk along a very peaceful beach, and the cache was found easily. Log signed and everything returned to it's hiding place. Cheers.
This is one of those great places to place a cache, the view is a great reason to stop and the cache makes it even better...next time maybe with a sunset and that will make it betterer still. TFTC.
Out doing some field research with Lekker_Ding for her PhD. Any excuse for a cache right.
Time was against us by now so we stopped in the closest possible safe place to this cache and made the walk back down the road. Quick find on an overcast windy morning. Thanks Graham51

Not here at the right time of day for a sunset but still beautiful views. Thanks for showing us this spot.
Hi there Graham51.
We found your cache **"Sunset Beach - The Phoenix"** at 2:05:00 PM today. (This makes our grand total 18793).
Today was Day 3 of our exploration of the Tasman Peninsula. Yesterday we cleaned out the southern end, so today we started at Eaglehawk Neck and worked our way North.. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour today & ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes. Our cache count was 7 caches today, with 0 DNF's.
The view from the parking spot is really nice, but we were able to park within 65 metres and didn't have to stroll too far at all.
Thanks for placing this cache, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

On the way back to our hotel in Hobart we saw that a cache was hidden here.
The car was put aside and we walked towards GZ. The vegetation was long and dry so we had to look where we were.
We were almost at the spot when I was surprised to see a snake slipping away in front of my feet. Of course I was shocked and walked back quickly. Then we walked further on the beach to the hiding place.
We saw the place already but doubted to grab him.
Finaly we walked very carefully, grabbed and logged it quickly.
This is a nice view but snakes are not my favourite animals.

Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late and generic log, something I am notorious for. Thank you Graham51for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.

We were here at sunset and it was lovely.
Today the aim was for me to visit the oldest Virtual in Tasmania (to fill a Jasmer square); for Gary to do some earth caches and for us to pick up other caches whilst exploring the little towns along the way.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What a most unexpected little get away.....I needed some R&R and the lovely micaparamedic needed to cache in Tassie to meet a challenge cache's requirements, soooo a plan was quickly hatched and we were on our way.
Gary was good enough to do all of the driving (a real treat for me) so I just relaxed as we explored various beautiful locations that Tassie has to offer.....and we even picked up a cache or two. [^]
The weather was fantastic, the food was delicious, and I was delighted to catch up with some very special people that I love.
Thanks so much for the cache Graham51!

Fabulous place with spectacular coastal views, thanks for giving me an excuse to visit.. thanks..!!
A quick find on route to Port Arthur, and what a beautiful place, so easy to miss if you don't stop. Top spot! TFTC
