I saw it in the first place I looked but ignored it due ti it not being the appearance I was expecting. After 2 laps I saw it again and realised I would have had it in mear seconds if I hadnt ignored it initially. Thanks for this
15.11.2024 Sleepysloth 1 & 2 found it . Well hidden, very clever but clues help. TFTC
#24381. A tricky cache to spot; eventually Troodles located its hiding place. TFTC.
This was not a quick find. First I was looking for a small sized cache, then read the cache listing properly and downsized what I was searching for. Then read past logs and realised we should be looking for something a little more tricky than the 1 1/2 diff rating suggested. After a bit of circumnavigation, finally spotted the wee blighter. Good camo, very effective. The animals were quiet this morning. TFTC.
Slight detour on the way home from work to make a find for the day.An interesting hide and Im sure there would be times when you would actually hear a lion roar !!TFTC LBKeep smiling
Only found this due to spoiler picks in the logs from those that have gone before us.Thanks for the cache LB.Striker and Runningman222.
#14,419. After a big day yesterday doing the wherigo art series, Infoferret and I stayed overnight at Lyndoch Hills. Lovely rooms and setting. Highly recommend this accommodation provider. We are heading south today to stay at Robe. At this stage I had no idea how far away that was!!! But I digress. Today we were targeting caches to fulfil the requirements of the A-Z and 0-9 challenge and wanted a cache starting with an A. After a very nice lunch at a nearby cafe we headed here to pick up this A cache. Well easier said than done. We looked in a lot of spots and could not see anything. Eventually read some past logs and finally saw a spoiler image. Found the cache soon after. Very cryptic. Think it is a lot harder than a D1.5. Suggest its more like a D2.5 cache. Anyway we signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks LB for hiding it here.
5 March 2024 15:33 TFTC LB for placing this cache, number 13509 for me.Sneaky indeed! GSEL spotted it in the end, by looking at the photos I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.
6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.During our 5 days in Adlade, we visited the centre and around while following the caches and labs. We resolved some mysteries before our trip. We made some great discoveries and great experiences.Nice boxThanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots
We have arrived in Adelaide for the MEGA Leapyear 2024.We were last time in Adelaide in 2004 so it was about time to refresh our memories and get couple of more caches. This was one of them. It took us a while, but difficulty should be higher for the awesome cache! A fav point from me!Tftc
As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip. Now has Ellen Sch, MrVon sr and Insve started on their jurney home to Norway so we now sign logs with our nick.
Taking a stroll along the river, Torrens, and trying to find geocaches along the way.It took me about two minutes to find this one, but it is a great hide! And it will get a point for me.
The first time you have a chance at the top is the second one you get a free pass and you can go on your way back and then go to your car to pick it out of there so I dont have any money for that and I can get it back and you could get a ride home or something and I could just get it to the bottom and you could go back and pick
Clocking up cache finds whilst working toward other challenge goals and milestones It's simple yet creative caches like this that deserve a ! In town for a few days, figured Id explore the city while caching. This was not a quick grab as I first looked at in the wrong place, and it was dark, and there were spiders that I didnt see until it was too late. Buteventually I got there. TFTC (but not the spiders in my hair)
Lots of chirpy runners and birds out this morning. Thanks for bringing me through here. Great hide worth a first fav for this city
Found it after the nearby event, grabbed this one on a slightly detoured route back to the car. Signed as doineedthis aka The Brown Family aka “the coloured mint tin by the sea people”

Attempting some urban caching, had a false start at the first cache, loosing patience and giving up. So off to the next one. Left the husband and child on the path and headed off on my own to find this one, only one lap of GZ and the cache was in hand. TFTC.
Great hide, great camo, took some time to find…..gets a favourite point from me

TFTC! Loved the camouflage. We did need the spoiler photo from the previous cacher though- it was especially tricky to find in the rapidly declining daylight!
Out on another spontaneous caching adventure with makingpie π tonight

Last one for the day before heading back before the rain was due. A nice straightforward find here. TFTC
Very very well camouflaged. Brilliant work with the cap. Shout out to my boy Kans who located it
Cache now replaced and not what it used to be. PAFing previous finders will not help with this current hide. It's natural camo and hidden in plain sight

Love the cache holder.
For the following people, it is better to bring a tool to retrieve the log. TFTC.

Prickly hide! After a march up the river walkway and a crossing....found this fearsome beast with ERP. TFTC!
This evening after work, I decided to cycle around Adelaide and North Adelaide to find a few geocaches that I had long since solved, but had left them close to home in the hopes of finding during lunch runs. However with a nice evening tonight, I figured it was a good adventure out to visit the city and surrounds.
I think this is one of my longest conversions from a DNF to a find, since I had a DNF at this spot more than two years ago on 9/11/2018! I guess the closeness to work and home didn't phase me too much, but I had enough at the blue face staring back to me and so wanted this removed from my map today. It was definitely a difficult place for a geocache due to the prominence of spiky bushes, barbed fence wire, and heavy leaf and dirt clumps. I think I was still here for another 10 min walking up and down and all around. Eventually I caught sight of the jungle king, phew. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks LíB for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I found "On Safari: Lion" out Monarto way this morning (Sunday) and realised I forgot to log this one from last night. Both great caches! Thanks for this one LíB, a fun find in the dark.
After the nearby event we all walked to this one as it’s the only tras we have in the vicinity that doesn’t required a TOTT.
It took us a while to locate the cache we all thought it was pretty cool.

Too prickly for me. Didn’t find despite a good search but that may just be my looking skills
Found this one pretty fast because the geo-cammo gave it away.
The scent of spring is in full force here, which was a pleaser surprise when I arrived at GZ. Nice container!
