Could not find and as there was cameras and guards didn't want to have a close look either

28-Jan-20
Now don’t be scared of the proximity to the front of this business. I was actually at the business for a job and noticed a very close cache. I’ve explained what geocaching is to them and the reception girls were quite interested. They’re not worried about getting geovisitors.

A week or so ago I visited this area with the intention of finding the cache. However it was mid-afternoon on a weekday and there were people about and I wasn’t quite sure who might be watching from behind all those windows. So I deferred it and kept driving.

I returned early this evening and the place was deserted! I had a fair idea where the cache might be hidden and after checking a couple of similar looking spots, I soon put my hand on it.

Thanks 3LG for the cache.

On the way home this evening from port Adelaide and still in need of a cache for the day to keep my streak alive, I had been here before but due to the businesses being open I thought I’d return at night. This evening no one was around although it took some time the cache was found.

Security guards watching me as soon as I parked. Security cameras everywhere too.
Maybe next time I’ll return at night in my ninja costume.

08-Jul-19
Came by again, but the business was open and many muggle workers eyeballing the possible GZ. I'm only over this way during work hours so I fear I will have to mark this as unlikely to find and mark a DNF so I don'tt keep attempting to get it Smile Maybe one day!

There is a very new looking barbed wire fence around the apparent GZ. Cache may no longer be accessible.

Thinking there must be more than one container here as several people seem to mention that there are few names in the log book and others that there are lots. The one I found only had a few names and not the last finder TFTC very quiet here today

We typed all the cords for this area into the old etrex for last night but didn't get them all, so not wanting to waste our time typing them again we decided on a day caching the area. TFTC

Cache # 1542.

This afternoon, I went to St Clair for business. After that, I found a cache on my way home.

Approached from the west side, I parked my car near the corner. Walked to GZ, and start searching. I thought it's on the tree, but the cords indicate somewhere else. Found the cache in the first place I checked.

The container looks new, and there are lots of names on the log sheet. I wrote our name on it as well.

Thanks for the "Animal Facts" cache series, 3LG.

19-Jul-17
Found it safe and sound, obviously only a recent replacement as it only had one other name in it.

Thanks for the cache 3LG. Found on 19 Jul 2017 at 10:27 pm. Find #4891.

Day Thirty Two of our holiday - the first day of April, BettyBoo3747 and I are still at Semaphore in Adelaide.(But not for much longer!)
Today we just bummed around the Port collecting a few puzzles and some trads.
The morning was spent in the car, and the afternoon on the deadly treadlies.
Tricked by a street that doesn't continue through here!
We parked and walked to GZ.
No wolverines here today, they must work during the week.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12280. Day 32 of our SA holiday. March is over and here we are with April Fool's Day already and that means we are due to leave for home on Monday. Sad at the thought of it but looking forward to getting home.

With some rain this morning and grey skies we hopped in the geo-chariot and headed to the areas around Port Adelaide and Garden Island. This afternoon we got the bicycles out and headed out to gather up some more puzzles and traditionals. I seem to have finished the day with 25 smilies and 4 DNF's.

I think we also discovered the original cache (unless you have combined the two). The log sheets we found were from 2013 and had heaps of names on them. The container looked new but that might be because of the nature of the hide. Very well protected. All quiet here on a Saturday afternoon thankfully. We didn't worry about security cameras as we searched from the tree side.

Thanks 3LG

25-Feb-17
Glad no one was around. Thanks

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Finally got this one off the books. And it was an interesting find...
Cache for the day required and have been heading into this area cleaning out those un-found caches. Had tried this one previously but to date was not successful. Didn't DNF it as each time I was muggled out of the search by someone poking their head out of the door nearby and giving me the glare of death. I was sure they were the wolverines trying to hunt me out...
Having seen that the cache was back in place, I decided this morning that this was the target. Drove to the area and parked across the road. As I was sitting in the car I noticed that above the door there was a security camera. So that's how I was being muggled out of it. OK, knowing this it was time for quick action.
Took the stealthy path to get to GZ and made a very quick search and found a cache in the second place I looked. Great. Retreat to the cover of the nearby tree to extract and sign log. This is where it gets interesting. Knowing that the cache had recently (late last year) been replaced, and with only 1 find since the replacement, I expected to find a log that was pretty clean. Instead I found a log that was very well used. Question, have I found the original cache??? Don't know but I did find a cache and signed a log...
Anyway, nice to get this one off the map and replaced by a smiley. Do like the animal facts series.

4th and final 3LG find today, all with no DNF's woo hoo Smile This one nearly had me thinking about giving up but I widened the search and the cache was soon in hand. Nice hide indeed [^] SL at 12:00 on 7 Aug 2016. All is dry within, TFTC 3LG Smile

So I am in Adelaide for 3 hours of work in the evening and have a early flight so a day of caching with brisal5 planned. Thank you to all of the owners for their creative hides.

28-Jun-16
Mogni was in town for one of her 'flying' visits. That means some caching time before she was required for a few hours 'work' before some more caching. The GOTHs needed some maintainance down Semaphore way so I spent the past few days solving a few puzzles down that way. After picking up mogni from the airport it was time to cache our way down to Semaphore. Cool That done we cached our way into the Port for a great Lunch at a pub that mogni remembered from earlier days. Surprised You can take the girl out of the Port but you can't get The Port out of the girl. Stomach rumblings satisfied it was time to get back to caching.
Time to head back to town so mogni could go to work. Of course we just had to stop on the way and grab this one as well. Smile
Thanks for placing this cache 3LGBig Grin

07-May-16
WARNING: We found a total of 11 used condoms on the ground near GZ so it seems we have some very 'active' muggles living nearby.

Found the cache after trusting in the GPS coordinates. Thanks!

This one took a while to find, I resorted to reading past logs and they just made me paranoid about police turning up. I eventually found it after reading locus's log.

Cheers for the cache and the memories.

Found late at night, after waiting out the rain. Spent quite a while hunting around before being forced to PAF the CO after which the cache was in hand in about 30 seconds. I was sure I'd looked there, but apparently not close enough. TFTC 3LG!

Saw the DNF's on this and nearly didn't attempt, then I read why they were DNFed..LOL.. They could have got the boys in blue to light up the area with their spotties and make it easier!. Fortunately it was daylight when we looked and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC 3LG and thanks for the lesson on the Wolverine...I always thought it was Hugh Jackman!

18-Oct-14
was interrupted when trying to find this one, I think the local neighbours were a bit suss about our torches and called the police on us, was all good tried to explain to the police what geocaching was

18-Oct-14
Ha ha well what a funny night. After searching for a lengthy 10 minutes or so at night, we didn't find the cache. But 4 friendly police people in 3 cars found us! After a nice meal at the Port Anchor with JJ52 and locus cache we decided to get some of the local caches. Big Grin As usual I was crammed in the back of Harry with Brodie, while JJ52 enjoyed the luxurious front seat.

This was a previous DNF for me and JJ52 so we were both pleased to have an experienced set of eyes with us tonight and a Harry full of useful implements.

After some debate about probable cache location locus cache made the tricky find about mid point to the accolades of her companions who were glad to finally get this one off the books.Big Grin[^]Big Grin

Oh, & we really didn't have to drag her too hard to come Wink

I was also very pleased as it was now past midnight which meant I had already found a cache for Saturday and could have what would feel like a day off from the streak!!! Wink

TFTC 3LG!

13-Sep-14
After work, Brodie dog and I headed out to Port Adelaide to meet JJ52 and Ismartis for tea, then some caching [^]
By the time I got home at 2am, I had found 4 caches Smile and had some fun with a couple of lovely police officers who, I suspect, aren't used to women walking up to their car at 1am and asking them if they know where it is SurprisedWink

Apparently my companions had been here before without success, so they dragged me along tonight Wink
Took a little while and I really should have trusted the GPSr more, as while the others were tellling me...'it's here' and I listened initially, I eventually found the cache a bit closer to where my GPSr had wanted me when we first arrived.
Got to love a Micro which is that size [^]

After a nice meal with Ismartis and locus cache in Port Adelaide we decided to go and grab a few caches before heading home. Big Grin
Ismartis and I had been here before so tonight we asked locus to stop here so she could have a look too. Big Grin
Took a while looking along all the possible hiding places and eventually locus found the right place while she was flat on her back. Cool The cache was much bigger than we were expecting, but we were still very happy to sign the log. Big Grin
Thanks for the cache 3LG. Smile

The title of this cache brings a movie to mind
Arrived at ground zero after gps went haywire
Must admit did not search really well as to do so would have had to get wet and muddy and then not really sure if
cache was where we were looking
So phoned a friend for a hint and yes we were right I would have to get down and wet and dirty
Nope I would not
Out came a mat from the car for me to use and the cache was soon ours to claim

Rang up Freddo and said interested in a drive at lunchtime. Affirmative was the response so off we went.

Got to GZ and spotted the obvious spot, not there. Checked some more obvious spots still not there. I went back to the original spot and still couldn't find anything while Freddo checked the other spot.

PAF and we had more of an idea. It wasn't until I checked a spot that had been checked that the cache was found.
