Passing back through with a couple of coins that weren't activated at the time of the event. Now all good to go, they wanted to drop by and register their first event visit in Australia... [^]

Well, it has been a very busy day!!! An event for morning tea, followed by a hilarious time finding 2 puzzles and a long multi while in the company of teamdfl and barbbowman, followed by a second event which included dinner where T-Tech joined us, and now our third event for the day! It was a little dark down at the meeting point, but I made good use of my headtorch Apologies to all those people I blinded Lots of nattering, and catching up, and a few new folks to meet and match names to faces. Oh, and the lime biccies were wonderful TFTE, bikerleo. Off now to do a witch hunt.

My plan for today was to clear up some annoying blue dots on my map and to get to all 3 events. Well I guess I did both.

I got distracted by some strange ladies at the first event and my day took a slighlty different path. I did make some blues into smileys, but I had way more fun with my buddies. Thanks for a totally awesome day barbbowman and IolantheK and it's not over yet DDD

We saw this event close to home and thought we couldn't miss out catching up with old friends and new. It's amazing how much colder it is up at the top of the hill than down below. Thanks to lokipagan for bringing her telescope and giving us the opportunity to peer into the stars at a much closer range than normal. Thank you to bikerleo7 for organizing the event. We had a great time at the event meeting everyone and gazing at the stars.

It was a great star gazing night tonight and thanks to Lokipagan for the telescope for some intergalactic sights.

Attended for a short while, I didnt bring a coat and I was freezing, but signed the log had a yummy cupcake, looked through the telescope, and met a few new faces.

Dropping in some great TBs

Loki, Pagan and telescope made this one. It was also Amalthea's first geocaching outing (that's the car, not the telescope. surprisingly the scope didn't get a name...). Good to catch up with both old and new faces. Although the cloud cover was worse yesterday, the ISS flyover then was great so we said our hellos to the travel bug yesterday. Didn't spot it tonight. Thanks for organising - a very awesome souvenir to get.

Wow what a location. I've been to the botanical gardens and the planetarium a few times but never made the short trip up the hill. The view is simply amazing from up here at night. I'll definitely be heading back here during the day with the family.
I didn't have a lot of time but I managed to sign the log and chat to a few people before heading home.

Nice to meet a lot of people at our first event! It was a bit hard so couldn't see many faces but it was good sharing stories and hopefully we can see people again at future events!

Great to catch up with cachers new and old; get a pathtag; eat a cupcake or two; get some hints; and try not to get blown off the mountain! TFTE bikerleo; you picked a great spot.

Most of the packing done, I nipped out for a little while and headed up the Mount. I arrived to find KeepingUpWith also making his way in and we spotted a likely mob gathered on one side of the paved area... Sure enough, familiar faces and Modelbear already handing out the sweet goodies...

A quick relocation, Lokipagan with the telescope, some new faces and lots of chat, it was a typical event, just with lots less light than we are used to... Saw the stars, moon, but not the ISS. Ah well, two out of three aint bad...

Thanks for the gathering and for ensuring we all get the souvenir...

There will also be an ISS flyover right on 7.30pm. Not a great one but would be neat to mark the occasion .

Mrs Gunnie and I depart for Melbourne early the following morning and should probably pack during the time of this event... Pffft, who am I kidding, there's plenty of time afterwards and there's a souvenir up for grabs... I'll be there to enjoy an ice cream and the company... [^]
