Will not be able to fix this one, hope we can bring it back to life one day in a new spot with a new "house".
Sorry Acx5 for our late log below but once back from holidays work unfortunately got in the way of logging finds.
I’ve just read recently where the cache has been damaged; we can assure you it was quite ok when we were there.
It’s such a shame that someone else as someone said probably vandals has had to go and destroy it.
We hope it’s returned for futures finders as it was a very cleverly done puzzle (well done on the effort you must have gone to to construct it), but no doubt in a different location.
Cheers

there are several log book entries that have not been logged online, may be a place to start ??
bad news the last finder has smashed the cache to bits, sad sad when it looked so easy to solve
We are so sad to hear that your cache is ruined. It is more likely to be vandals than cachers - there is evidence of the area being used for drinking. Commiserations from Alwyn and Becon.
Found with TassieGirl13 while down on holidays from Queensland.
This cache would have to be one of our favourites for in the area. It certainly was an enjoyable experience working out what was required to eventually get our names in the log book.
I think we must have spent at least half an hour or more working on it.
This was also a memorable cache for another reason. Just before we got to the log book we disturbed a humongous spider, it had TassieGirl running backwards at a rate of speed swearing and cursing. It probably didn’t help the situation that I was going “Wow how cool is it!”
I managed to coax the giant arachnid from his hide and persuaded him via a long stick that he would be better off living over in another tree, in the opposite direction of TassieGirl.
This one gets a favourite point from me and I hope that encourages others to give this one a go.

Half way but not good enough. I know I will be having another crack, may need a nudge though.
love the cache

Was been given the tour of the town by Code 1 who said that this was a must do and there is no question about it. As we headed up towards GZ we noticed a car parked a little ways up from where we needed to be. It was just out of sight and so the task at hand began. Lucky for me I had a little idea of the style of hide and with a few pointers was on the right track. The call went out that the car was coming down the road and we moved off into the darkness so not to give away GZ. Upon our return it was not long before I worked through the layers to have cache in hand and was soon signing the log. Returned all items before we headed back to the car.

A great way to start the New Year. Had a wonderful time (started yesterday but the heat and lack of water beat us) and finished it off this morning. Many thanks for a memorable experience. FAV
It was great to be able to get to the cache in the wheelchair - thanks for that. We started yesterday but it was too hot and we left to come back in the morning. Then the cache kept me awake half the night pondering the possibilities. It took a while this morning. This was a whole load of fun and we loved every minute. Thanks and a FAV from me.

Definitely getting a favourite point on this one! This was so much fun to solve, another cacher had told us about this one and we couldn't wait to give it a go, we haven't attempted many puzzle caches so weren't sure what to expect! But we solved it in the first go, took about half hour but felt so good to complete! TFTC
We'll this was my fourth time out with geo grandma apsley 168 with a hint from co found this one funny thing was I had already tried the method but did not check every number, very very clever makes every other cache look easy anyway my tip if you have a nudge go with it and don't stop with it halfway the key really does show you the way!! Thanks for the brilliant cache
FOUND IT! FOUND IT! FOUND IT!!!
I can't believe I'm finally writing this!
We have visited this cache so many times that I think our car knows its way there unassisted. I have pondered and pondered on this puzzle and come up with so many clever solutions, all of them wrong!
It took several appeals to the CO for little nudges before my granddaughter followed through with her hunch, stopped listening to me and solved this clever puzzle.
Thank you so much Acx5 for such an interesting and stimulating geocache. I'm wondering what I'll dream about tonight.

Found it! OMG, I can not believe I took on a puzzle of this level at this time of year. Lets just say things are busy and my brain is mush atm. I also can't believe I thought I could knock this one over in short burst. On my first visit I found GZ ok and I figured out that I had to do something but I wasn't sure what. Code1 had a good old laugh at me as I told him what I had observed. On my second visit I solved the first part of the puzzle. I won't give away clues here but as a woodwork teacher I should hand in my dust coat in shame! The next part had me stuffed and again time was short. Again I told Code1 how far I had gone before heading to work and again he had a good old laugh at my expense. (Fair is fair, I had a laugh at him over one down near the train tracks). This time round Code1 gave me a nudge, not quite a clue but a nudge. It still took a fair bit of blind luck but I finally solved it on my third attempt. How can something give you so much grief and still make you feel so good when it's over. I should have saved this one for my 1000th, that's how good it is. Thanks for all your hard work setting it up. I really enjoyed doing this on. Cheers SL TNLN TFTC

Had a bit of a look but I think I'll need a bit more time to solve this one.
We got half-way through this and, as with Griz, we kept coming up with possibilites that proved to be incorrect.
Eventually we ran out of time, but like General Macarthur, we shall return.
Thanks Acx5 for ensuring that my sleep will be interrupted till I can return.

I had heard rumours that this one would take a while to solve so just after dark I came to see what it was all about and if I was unsuccessful, there was time for a midnight run to Orange.
Parked on the black top as close as possible and soon had the cache in-front of me.
I quickly passed the first challenge and wondered what all the fuss was about. Then I found out for myself.
Some though went into how to continue and soon had a solution came out and not long after the log was being signed.
An awesome cache worthy of 10 favourite points if I could give them.
Thankyou Acx5 for a well constructed puzzle cache.

Holy smokes! What a puzzle!! Thank goodness there was a bit of shade around... Expect to be here for a while .
No 4WD access so we took the 2WD route in.
My daughter Bethany was happy to be the one to spy this colourful cache... And then we set to work.
An early 'aha' moment led us to think we'd scored an easy find, but the fun was only just beginning...
From there we were left scratching our heads for a while and coming up with lots of ideas, until finally one stuck. A favorite point from us... Keep em coming!!
