Logs
We found Never Smile while attending gonefishen’s annual event.
Even though there had many dnfs we had a previous finder with us so thought it would be a snap. Unfortunately, she couldn’t remember a thing. We hunted for quite a while and I decided to abandon the search. Just then EB99 and her sharp eagle eyes found the very very well hidden cache container.
We took the container back to the car to extract the log quite happy with our one year of I love, only to find the last three found logs have not signed the log. Guess that gives us almost two years of unlove
Thanks for the cache and the caching fun
Thanks lozza311 for placing this cache and being a part of out geocaching adventure

Spent quite some time, too much time looking for this cache with a low rating. Read previous logs and figured what we might have been looking for but nothing. Will keep an eye on this one.
Hi there lozza311.
We found your cache "Never Smile"at 12:20:00 PM today, & this now makes our find count 12652.
Our cache run today started with another aborted attempt to fill a hole in our D/T grid - the rain was so bad that we just headed back to the car. Our alternate plan was to log a random cache and then navigate from cache to cache using the "next closest" method before returning back to camp for a rather late lunch.
After we were suitably refreshed we trudged our way along the beach to finally find the elusive 5/4.5 cache.
Hi there lozza311.
We found your cache "Never Smile"at 12:20:00 PM today, & this now makes our find count 12652.
Geocaching is often referred to as treasure hunting, and today we did just that - we found four large, wonderfully crafted caches with plenty of gold and precious gems safely stashed inside the final one.
After finding the gold we completed the circuit walk to log a few other caches on our return trek to the car., and then this one after we had closed all the gates. We awarded this cache a favourite point for the novel container.
Today we ended up logging 10 and DNFing 0 caches.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache around 2m from where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

As this cache was close to the road as we drove back towards the centre of Wonthaggi, we decided to stop and a walking entrance to the area. After a short walk, the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks lozza311 for the cache.
On our way down the road to the night cache and we were a tad early for the setting sun, so we stopped here to fill in time by getting another smiley. I was a little concerned about the sign at the entrance to the path, which stated that there were unstable mine shafts in the area and to stay on the paths. So as we were doing exactly as the sign told us NOT to do I imagined that every rabbit and wombat hole was a hidden cavern that I was no doubt about to disappear into. Hera found this cache as I was avoiding falling into a mine shaft. The cache was deeply embedded in the creatures gullet but we performed some delicate manoeuvres to remove it. Signed the log and carried on our way. Thanks for this fun cache.
#822 - Day three of my trip down the coast for some caching fun! Today I decided to attempt some hides from a variety of cachers and not Gonefishen07 exclusively.
After finishing my first walk of the day and collecting 17 finds, it was time to go on my second walk. After parking at the huge wind turbines at the end of Campbell street, I set off and was able to find 21 of the 26 caches that I set off to find.
Thank you to the CO's for the hides, I had a very fun walk with what was once again a wide variety of caches and hides as the sun went down.
Well placed cache, but of course didn't smile. Tftc

We needed to kill some time before the sun went down so finding another cache was the obvious choice. Our 10 and 8 year old boys were being really silly during this walk overlooked the cache a few times before I spotted the obvious container. Luckily The Rusty's had some tweezers to extract the container from the gullet of the beast.
Nice cache, but did take some getting cache out of the camo. sl thanks Lozza311 for the cache.
TFTC. Decided to attempt caches in the Wetlands around Wonthaggi today. Lots of walking on a cloudy day. This one certainly bought a smile to my face.
Love it. Arrived at GZ, took a guess turned around, and WOW. Thanks, brought a smile.
Nearing the end of monitoring our Scouts on their 30km hike.

Drove to Wonthaggi, to pick up a few more caches on the local walk trails.
Parked close by, and took a short walk in this nice area.
Cache was found after a short search, in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, lozza311, for us and others to find.

Very nice container. Was very fun to find it and we had a nice walk. Thanks!!
Paper difficult to get out of tube, next person to find might need a piece of wire to help get it out
[font=Comic Sans MS][Green]I'm heading eastwards on a day caching in and around Wonthaggi with Square_Pegs after leaving Melbourne early this morning before sunrise. Later on, I got the opportunity to find this cache in good condition. Another cool container!
It's been too long since my last visit. Thanks lozza311 for making this an enjoyable day exploring

I learnt this lesson early on in life, but I once we spotted the container I couldn't help myself.
Another fantastic container, among so many that we have found today.
Thanks for the cache.

We were on a weekend visiting our grandson for his 3rd birthday and then followed by a geo event in Wonthaggi; Following the event, we headed off to grab a few of the multitude of Wonthaggi caches and this was one. We had difficulty retrieving the log from this, but determination won out. Log dry despite the weather

12.08 pm While enjoying our usual Easter break at Cape Patterson with friends I got a chance to do this walk. I have never been down into this area before so really enjoying a new area to see.
Nice easy find here and snappy little container you have.
Thanks for the cache lozza311

We enjoyed the walk along this trail - tree cover provided dappled shade on a beautiful warm day. We saw no one else on the trail. The different hides certainly kept us entertained. This was one we were able to find, I was feeling pretty wary about reptiles by now . Thanks to lozza311 for placing this cache.
It was my monthly caching expedition with Biggles Bear today. With over 40 caches and only 3 DNF's, it was a successfuly day's caching. We guessed what this one was going to be, and we were right, although the colour didn't look too natural.
Thanks to lozza311 for the cache.

Melbourne parties Friday noon and returned Tuesday morning in Melbourne. I came here to make different trail of caches in the area. It was intense few days with my bike but very nice! I could find caches with superb camouflage, very good ideas from the cachers. This log will be the same for all caches that I made (sorry) But I want to congratulate in particular:
Nut bear & BorisB & Natasha for "Bay Trail" and "Red Hill Express" (Beautiful cover!)
The Three Amigos Geo for "The Pathway"
Gonefishen07 for the great "Rail Trail"
As well as other geocacher who I discovered several caches during these few days.
Thank you very much
Greetings from France
I will be at Mega event with my friend who just especially France also "Ckronos"

One of 70 caches found today during a day / night caching run. I headed down the Bass Hwy through Woolamai and Kilkundra and onto Wonthaggi where I spent most of the day. Once it was time to move on, I grabbed some dinner for the road and headed up north through the rolling hills of Kongwak, through Korrumburra, Strzelecki and Torwood before turning west, making my way to Lang Lang and then onto home.
The weather was perfect for caching and during the day I had just one DNF. I also managed to find a couple of caches needed for my D/T requirements. There were a nice variety of caches with some challenging walks and the trusty old bike came out on a couple of occasions. Plenty of great locations and some great scenery as well. Thanks to all the CO's who placed the caches I found today.
A nice walk to GZ and a short search soon had me smiling as well. Log signed and on my way. Thanks.

After the ipad ran out of battery at the last cache we loaded the phone with an ap..........useless in comparison to neon geo or even better our magellan. DnF for us.
1.1.2014 found by sunnyindiatilli. You should never smile at these ,but the kids did TFTC
Had a great day caching and enjoying the outdoors as usual. Many kilometres put on the geoPatrol to add to the numbers. Now it is a waiting game for the next opportunity to get out again.
Many thanks lozza311 for placing this cache.

Found by Mary & David, in company with pprass and micaparamedic, at 0908. We'd arranged to meet at the nearby entrance to the State Coal Mine Heritage Area, and pre-position the vehicles so that we wouldn't have to double back on foot. Stopped to do this cache on our way to our second parking spot. Understood the cache name once we found it, then followed along the track to our second find. Our thanks to lozza311.
Found at 9:09 AM GAFF5 in the company of maccamob and micaparamedic. At the Celebratory Event last night we organised a group to do this wet lands series, but in the end just 3 of us turned up! We then proceeded to place a vehicle at strategic locations so that we could cut down on the walking bit [:o)]
We had no idea what this cache was going to be until we actually saw the cache and then it all made perfect sense
Thanks lozza311.

I enjoyed the walk to GZ with bogonghazy, We were planning on getting as many finds as we could this morn before the forecast high temps. Cache found, logged and returned. Thanks for the cache and for bringing us here.
Wasn't sure what to make of the name here, but it became bleedingly obvious once at GZ.
Thanks Lozza311, made ME smile

With the weather forecast promising us quite a nasty hot day we were out and about by bike fairly early in search of smilie faces. We made a quick find after the childhood memory kicked in. Took longer than it should have - satellites today had our GPS'r GZ 5m east of where we found the cache.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt lozza311.

Off for an afternoon of caching with princessdiala and ColeyBaby. Got dropped off so we could get a couple along the trail and picked up at the other end. A quick and easy find. TFTC.
We took a while to locate this cache, feeling a bit reluctant to poke around too much in case of snakes. We overlooked the right spot far too many times. Another fun cache. TFTC
Found with Gonefishen07 Thing No1 and my cuz. Trying to help gonefishen07 get closer to 2000. TFTC
Found with Zobo04, Thing No1 and Thomo. On a mission to get my numbers up closer to 2000. Today was the day as I wanted my event to be my 2000 cache and I was fast running out of time. Took a few mins to locate as was having reception trouble with Iphone, but I managed to find it eventually . TFTC
Out with my caching buddy Slink1 revisiting Wonthaggi today picking up some caches we had not had time for the last time we were here. It was a fine sunny day and we had a few laughs and enjoyed the caching.
Thank you to lozza311 for the chache TNLNSL

Found on a arvo touring around the area and collecting a few caches along the way, a very pleasant trip and as always we enjoyed where the caching took us along with the hunt. A big thank you to lozza311 for the effort and placement TNLN SL
Out for a walk with geo daughter, Izzy Seb and Ross 47. I found this one peeking out at me. TFTC
A great morning for a walk so we've set out from home with the intention of finding your 4 new caches in the Wetlands. This one was found more by luck than science as our GPS/compass was giving us a hard time. But, we thought we knew what we were looking for and a patient search paid off. TFTC
Almost the first to find. Missed out by only a few mins. If I hadn't gone to the Doctor first, things it would have been different. Nice to meet tassiexpat and frmen1 On the track. I can now put faces to the names. By the time we had got this one the mozzies were getting pretty bad but I was still so excited about my previous cache FTF that I hardly noticed the mozzies or the lack of oxygen getting to my lungs.
