Logs
You forgot to tell me about the nettles as well, this should be another one of those caches that will be more interesting in the height of summer
Approaching gz was dismayed to see numerous hint type items. However, quick find but Sod's Law a boat was moored right by the hide, fortunately all locked up and no-one aboard.

8129 + 981 = 9110. Found during a wonderful wander around the countryside…
Spending a few days in Manchester for a wedding I had a day to myself to go caching. These series looked very interesting and being Letterbox Hybrids I couldn’t resist doing some of them. Parked as near as could in these narrow roads and started the big walk (25kms today for 35 caches !). A quick find at GZ. Loved walking along the canal – very scenic ! Some locals stopped their boat to have a chat !
Thanks again P R E D A T O R S !! A Favourite Point from Me !
TNLN – TFTC !!
Cheers from Australia….
Please forgive the generic logs for the series.

A quick find. Quite a few muggles about, either on the water or towpath. Nice to see geese paired up.

Another short flurry of caches after work. It is about time I finished another series so decided the TALBOL was the best one to try. For some reason GPSr completely bombed out here but Galaxy S4 spot on. Thanks.
Time to find the remaining TALBOL caches along the Macclesfiled Canal.
Last one that we found on the canal, before heading back to the car. A few places to search, but soon had it found.

Cache was exposed so we covered when replacing. TFTC
After a long week at work, it was great to be out again today to complete another section on this fantastic series This week, we decided to complete the TALBOL section and also mop up our 2 DNF's on TALKET and TALLAM. We were really lucky with the weather, only encountering a couple of brief hail showers, and ending the day on Kerridge Ridge in glorious sunshine. We had expected much worse conditions after all the rain yesterday Another fantastic walk that took us 6 and three quarter hours to complete the 22.5km with detours and 673 metres ascent on this section. Yet again some stunning views and nice straight forward finds to keep us moving at a steady space. We really do appreciate the effort that has gone into placing this excellent series We hope to complete our last section next weekend - not sure what we'll do once we've completed the series [:o] Thanks for another great day
Our day 7 stats:
Distance walked: 133km
Total ascent: 4,390 metres
Time taken: 42.5 hours
Caches found: 336

Found on another great walk out today chasing aliens. No DNFs, tired legs, full log at the Bollington master cache. Big thanks for putting them out. It was here or hereabouts that the GPS (Oregon OS mapping) had us on the wrong side of the canal. Just ignore it and stay on the obvious side… Found with Grandad TFTC.
Please see main log at TALBOL #13 : BOLLINGTON SECTION.
Found at 11:56, #2 of 57 finds today.

Not the best approach for tackling this series but being relatively close to home, I am using individual caches to help fill in the many blank caching days in my calendar.
This evening I parked next to the canal bridge on Springbank Lane. It was just a pleasant quiet walk along the side of the canal to this cache. Coords led me to the correct clue item for a quick find. All signed and replaced as found. TFTC

Alien Quest No.7! Finished TALFUR this morning & aiming to walk about half of this today - depends how tired my knees become!
Still keeping up with all the stamps... albeit with a 'sub' at the Lamaload Section Box!
Surprised by all the vehicles... then I realised this is a popular parking spot for fishermen!

Not much time today so parked where Springbank Lane crosses the canal to do TALBOL#2-#6. Last of the 5 quick finds. TFTC.

I was back in the area again today to tackle another one of the "Alien Landing" series but this time around Bollington. Although the weather started off lovely and sunny (if ever so slightly windy) by the time I got to Kerridge Ridge the cloud had dropped and I could barely see the other side of the valley I had intended to do the first half of the series before caching my way back to Bollington but I was enjoying myself so much that I decided to attempt the lot and walked about 12.5 miles altogether I missed out a few caches along the canal, as there were too many people about to look properly but once I was out in the hills, I didn't see another soul! There were a great variety of caches and hiding places, the views (when it wasn't misty) were wonderful and I found the walking guide very useful. The cache itself was a straightforward find at GZ.

Back out today to complete another in the TAL series. Todays choice was TALBOL so I could combine it with some maintenance on my Middlewood series. The weather was great all day and the views looking over Cheshire were outstanding. Like with the other TAL series I have done, all the caches were not too difficult to find thanks to the good co-ordinates and meaningful hints. Thanks for the caches and the series
