Thank you for describing the history of this place. A very atmospheric entrance as the evening clouds were settling in. Easy find despite the renovations.
Just one day to spent in Bergen. We decided to start with Floibanen going up to Floyen and doing some caches while walking down. Floibanen is out of service and we have to change our plans. After a coffee and a birthday cake we start geocaching around our hotel. We expect a port area. What we get is boats, nice old houses and a park. After that a few caches around the university and back to the city center. Floibanen is open and we finally can go up. What a view! And lots of caches.

Doing a small tour of southern Norway, by train and ferry. Spending a few days in Bergen. There were others here caching when I arrived and they pointed, 'over there.' It was where I was headed, but nice to have confirmation. TFTC missDimple-ArveAnd.
