Suscoe dropped by here this afternoon and discovered the cache was missing. We have replaced the cache and it is ready to find again.
After a quick 20 minute search we have come up empty handed. Any hints would be greatly appreciated
After being to an event mid afternoon during the hottest part of the daywe were happy the weather had cooled down a bit to do this rail trail.Out caching with D@geoThank you for the cache
Making a start on the rail trail with gwd.aussie after attending an event. Needing numbers to achieve a challenge cache.Thankfully it had cooled down significantly.TFTC
9/13 finds today. Nini and I rode from moolap station road to clifton avenue, grabbing caches along the way. Spotted this one within a few seconds, very happy to get another one todaythanks for the cachepika & nini 13/10/23
Out or new E-bikes before the weather breaks. I have always wanted to do the rail trails. Now that we have bikes it a adds a whole extra layer to enjoying caching. Thank you for placing all of these caches along the trail.
In Geelong with some time to spare so a walk was in order. Nice to tick a few more off this trail! Thanks for the fun and adventure.
Took the bikes down to Geelong for a caching ride along the Bellarine Rail Trail. This was our 12th find of the day.

I came for the CITO with no other plans. But ended up clearing Point Henry plus another 23 G2Q caches. Yep. Got it!
My thanks for the cache, suscoe.
My thanks for the cache, suscoe.
Out for the second day this week along the rail trail. Was able to get dropped off where I ended the other day and picked up further down the line, makes it much easier. Out of the 27 caches I looked for I had 3 DNFs which will all be placed on a watch list for later on. My son joined me for the walk today and there were a lot of other people on the trail.
Well it must be getting close to Christmas as it is time to attend all of the annual Geelong Christmas events today.
That nasty Covid put a hold on these events but we are finally back.
Stayed in Little River for the night so I didn’t have to get up to early to head on down here.
2 events done so now a bit of time to squeeze a few caches in before fronting back up again for the lunch event at Leopold.
I am slowly picking off the caches along the G2Q rail trail series with each visit down this way.
With a bit of walking and relocating the Geowagon I got another 7 ticked off before having to head off to lunch.
There were a few people out and about enjoying the sunshine today.
Right side, Left side I don’t know but the cache soon revealed it self to me.
Thanks suscoe TFTC.

Once you're on the right side of the track, this one is a quick find!!
The frogs are very vocal in this part of the world - they were totally showing their encouragement for us to find the cache!!

Tidying up some caches along the rail trail that I hadn’t previously tried - TFTC Suscoe
A day's outing while staying at Bellbrae with Bogonghazy had us travel into Geelong where we jumped on the bikes to do a few of the rail trail series and finishing the day in Queenscliff.
This was another clever hide, thanks again Suscoe

Accompanied with silence49, lance51 and DeafVW. We hire the e bike for G2Q Rail trail for the day. We had a great time finding your cache suscoe, thank you so much for placing it.

With so many others heading to Wangaratta mazza-g and I decided to play it safe and head here instead. A beautiful day on the trail with many interesting and varied hides. It’s always great to see when someone has repurposed a container and given it a second life.

Came to Geelong with Jascat and our bikes to ride along the trail seeking caches along the way. TFTC
We went for an evening wander to ensure that we would find a cache today. We were glad that we had used some insect repellant before we headed off as the mozzies were flying around in squadrons. The Bellarine Rail Trail is a lovely walk on all sections, and it makes finding a cache in low light pretty pleasant. We were enjoying the walk and realised we had passed by another cache on the way to this one, but that will keep for another day. We found the cache quite quickly. The cache is in good condition. Thank you for this cache, suscoe.
Nice to find one so quickly, but we are not finding a pattern with the hides, so we have to keep open minds.
At last we thought the weather was predictable enough to get out on the rail trail and chase some caches there. It was cool and overcast and quite windy, but few or no showers were forecast.
It was a tough day all the same. We always seemed to be going uphill when the wind was strongest, and some of the hides were truly challenging. There was the clever ones that truly had us thinking and then micros in the bush as well as some hidden in the undergrowth. There were of course others that were straightforward.
We began the day with 2 DNFs which did not auger well, one a D4 which simply did us in and the other we are maybe just blind.
All in all though it was quite an enjoyable day on the bikes and productive cache wise.

Thanks to Suscoe for the hint after my DNF which after having found it attributing my failure previously to fear of snakes which today isn't very necessary... TFTC
Decide to tackle some of the rail trail today!! What a relaxing ride! Started in Herne Hill to Leopold and back. This took me way longer than it should.
Thanks for getting me out and about

We wanted just a few caches today to fill in a missing section on the G2Q trail. Easy walking along here with ilook4geo and easy finds as well. Had to be a bit cautious with plenty of dogs taking muggle owners for a walk, even more bike riders and one enthusiastic runner. We found this cache on the right side - well. it wasn't on the wrong side anyway.
Thank you to suscoe for placing this cache as part of the trail.

Our for a short caching run today with goingplaces2, so decided to look for a few along the G2Q trail. Each log was signed before being returned to its proper place. TFTC.
Found it when staying at Leopold, on a trip along the Rail Trail, during my motorcycle holiday in Australia. But today I preferred the bicycle.
I started the rail trail series a few years ago now in a couple of different chunks but haven't had the chance to get back to it for a while. Today gave me the chance to tackle another small section of it, slowly creeping towards Geelong. Great fun all round, a well maintained bike trail and even better maintained series of caches. This would have taken quite a bit of effort to set up and maintain over all this time so my thanks go to all of the CO's along here for their efforts in allowing all of us to enjoy.
Travel bug!
Part of a loop I choose to do this morning while visiting family here having traveled from Sydney. On foot today in the heat and the smoke, would be awesome on a bike! Thanks for your work guys!

Suscoe enjoyed a ride along our section of the G2Q rail trail this morning.
It was that time for a maintenance run and it was such a lovely morning to be out on the trail.
A gentle breeze and lots of sunshine.
G2Q Silent Guardians is well and ready to be found.

Day two of riding the bike trails in the area and we headed off the pick up some more of the caches along the path.
We had a feel for the CO's and their hides now so we picked them up a bit quicker today.
A quick find by the geokids here

Since the day we had booked the air tickets for our current geocaching holiday to Australia we had been looking forward to hiking and geocaching the Bellarine Rail Trail. We had arrived in the area two nights ago and so yesterday morning we had parked up in Drysdale and hiked to Queenscliffe then taken a taxi back to Drysdale at the end of the day. Today we once again left our hired cache-mobile in Drysdale and then took a taxi to Geelong - we then hiked back to Drysdale to complete the trail. Once again we throughly enjoyed the hike in some truly lovely Australian weather and of course we also found many geocaches, and so many thanks to the COs for having provided us with the opportunity to have enjoyed yet another great day out geocaching! This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero having spotted it on approach. We signed the log book and then replaced as found (although slightly better hidden) but not before having carried out a Trackable Exchange, picking up the Geocaching Warszawa Geocoin and dropping off the GEO FORTRESS First Austrian Mega Event Geocoins. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
This log is to tidy up a mess I made with GSAK . I forgot to apply the template so my finds were published with a nonsensical log.
Rather than try and edit all the logs I post this not with what the log should have been.
My apologies for the confusion caused.
A few days away with Freddo, e.gregory1 and The White Dog Gang.
Fun was had by all. Not too many dnfs
Most logs signed as FETT.
Thanks for all the caches.

Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked.
Found on a short, post-Christmas sojourn to Victoria with Freddo, Team Waldron and thewhitedoggang that involved plenty of driving, cycling, walking and even some boating and wading.
The weather was on our side (albeit a little warm at times), which made for some great caching. There were plenty of varied finds, with some excellent and often tricky hides and and just a few DNFs. We signed most logbooks ‘F.E.T.T.’
Thanks suscoe for the cache.

We are spending a few days on the Bellarine peninsular before the Christmas crowd arrives and today are riding the trail from Drysdale to Geelong and back so I have the opportunity to grab a few caches on the way and back. Thanks suscoe for a string of caches along a lovely trail.
Grabbed a heap of this great series this afternoon before retiring to the in laws’ beach house for the night (thanks guys!).
Apologies for the somewhat generic log - need to keep my word count up but want to show appreciation for the COs’ efforts.
Only took a second to locate this cache, which was a relief as muggles were appearing on the horizon. TFTC

Found today while wandering along the trial, had to wait a while for the gps to show me the right side. Many thanks for the cache.
Out on the deadly for a day riding the Trail , finding as many caches as we could, most were easy finds but some took a fair search til they were found

Out for a walk on Christmas Day, combined with some cache finds - Merry Christmas to me!
After an exciting morning discovering what Santa had left, followed by a filling lunch, it was time to take everyone outside for some fresh air and sunshine. We took our puppy along as well, to initiate her into the ways of a GeoDog. The GeoKids were super helpful today too, making most of the finds.
We decided to divide and conquer here, and it was me who spotted this one!
Log signed and all replaced as found.

A bright sunny day has evolved, after threatening early morning showers. Off to get a new towbar for the car (interesting hey) and with 3 or 4 hours to spare decided to uncover some of the Rail Trail caches on our "deadly treadleys"
All good with this one.

I attempted to complete the G2Q series along the BRT in one day shortly after publication, back in January 2014. Starting in Queenscliff I only made it as far as Leopold. Obviously it's taken much longer than that one day - it's several years later and with another attempt today from Geelong to Leopold I still didn't finish it !
With my car in for a service I thought I'd use the time productively and started cycling east from South Geelong. After 15 kilometres (and five hours later) I had to return to the service garage to pick up my car, with my geocaching mission still unaccomplished. 27 caches were found but it was a record day of sorts - a whole 9 DNFs including a streak of 4 DNFs in a row. The day's outcome was as follows:
.
Despite some lengthy searches (and the bogans who have vandalized so many of the signs, baseline(s) and benches with unsightly graffiti) it was a great day out in the sunshine. I hadn't been on this trail for a while and had forgotten how enjoyable it is along here.
With memories of the Dubai DNF still fresh in my mind as I was glad to make a quick find here. No silence here as I shouted for joy. Metaphorically, really, so perhaps it was silent after all...
Thanks, suscoe.

This one was pretty straightforward, probably my least favourite type of hide. TFTC
I cycled the Bellarine Rail Trail from Geelong to Leopold this morning. The weather was nice, and I enjoyed the ride. Found a fair few of the caches on offer along the way as well. The odd one or two escaped me but I suppose that's only to be expected. Cheers and TFTC
The problem with challenge caches such as 365 day challenges is that you can't cache when you want. Add in hubby working shift work, add in days are shorter and colder now, you could say caching is difficult sometimes. Did I mention that we don't have any "local" caches available and the less time consuming ones are few and far between.
So here I am driving in the cold mid week so I can clear some days on the calendar to meet the challenge. Thankfully we've only got a handful more days and hubby's days off fall in the right spots for the next lot coming up!
Last one for this week complete. (What happened to Thursday you might wonder?? I wiped a multi from the board!!) Hints and coords spot on as we've come to expect from this CO.
Another find by the McPhail family.

Well its the middle of school holidays so why not pick up the bike and get some Tupperware containers! left Highton at about 10am and hit the G2Q trail and made my way out to leopold where i almost finished suscoe's part of the trail and started on cloudgliders. I also found a few other nearby caches. all up a pretty good day with 20 finds and 2 DNF's. Afterwards I rode out to pt Henry and found a few more caches. All up 40km and 5 hours on a cold windy wet day.
a bit bigger than I expected which was good. all is good here, log dry and lots of space
