Visiting the area with NZ_B, Mr Mcgoo and Marchwood. Today Marchwood and I decided to explore the area further south of Port Vincent - and also pick up some caches along the way before heading up to Adelaide for the Great Leap Forward Mega tomorrow. Looks like the day will be a little cooler - yah. What a great area for geocaching - Really enjoyed visiting lots of seaside towns. Thanks to all the Co's for the caches and ad labs that we picked up on our way. Thanks to earthlight for your interesting caches

Recieved a message from Allister W. He was going to go down and meet the co to do " El Castillo del Rey del Mar ", he asked if myself and Mogni wanted to meet him down there on Sunday. Since the 4x4 was still mostly packed from the last trip over to Victoria the answer was yes. We left after work Saturday and drove slowly down targetting large caches, solved puzzles and solving multi's on route and the odd traditional was found. We only got to Pine Point ( damn that place is windy ) before putting up the tent. Sunday the wind mostly had blew itself out and it was caching our way to El Castillo del Rey del Mar and there we meet a group and we all watched Allister W get wet and grab the cache on the 4th dive underwater. Then it was time to return slowly home and via as many caches as possible.

Beautiful out walking aling coast from caravan park this morning
This weekend is a mental health/selfish/me time weekend.
Headed to YP to do as I please which of course meant geocaching.
My plan was to ‘finish’ fishing . It and the geoart will be almost finished bar avenging some prior dnfs.
Was also keen to find some multis and visit a few places I haven’t been to before.
Mission accomplished in my happy place for the day. Only 2 dnfs. Sadly the Pies lost their Prelim final but we love to fight another day. Stansbury was a revelation to me the pub was brilliant.
All up around 130 found for the day.
Crikey how did I miss this last time?! TFTC Earthlight

Couldn’t spy this one in the dark will have another hunt by daylight hopefully TFTH
Found on my one week's lovely and interesting YP caching odyssey. Thanks earthlight and X-T's.
The three of us were spending some time on Yorke Peninsula, and today Mr Tardis went out for a caching run south of Port Vincent.
I'm happy to report that found this cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
I enjoyed my tour around Coobowie.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache earthlight.

Day 2 of our break on the Peninsular staying at Edithburgh. With the bored and not interested better half Mr Adder only had minutes at each GZ to make a find. Some were quick while others exceeded the time limit causing angst to she who must be obeyed. Another quick find and sign. Thank you for the placement of the The Girls are back in Town # Coobowie cache earthlight,The X-Trailers find number 8553 on 1 November 2021 at 12:31 pm

This weekend, I headed to the Yorke Peninsula. The goal was to visit Innes National Park for the Saturday to find a few of the oldie geocaches, but also to enjoy a different vicinity for geocaching. I used Edithburgh to base myself for the weekend's activities. On the drive to/from Edithburgh, I visited Ardrossan, Port Vincent, Wool Bay, and Coobowie, and also visited as far south as Sultana Point and Troubridge Point.
Today, I took the long route home back to Adelaide from Edithburgh, but did multiple detours along the way. I initially headed south to Sultana Point, followed by Troubridge Point; Two areas that I hadn't visited in all of my historical Coobowie Yorke Peninsula trips. I then drove north following the coastal route, stopping off in Coobowie, Wool Bay, and Port Vincent. A highlight was visiting the white clay mine just north of Stansbury, and it was a nice walk along the beach to get to.
This cache was one of a few that I found whilst visiting Coobowie today. I managed to find the cache reasonably quickly in a nicely hidden spot. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@earthlight](http://coord.info/PR39X1P) and The X-Trailers for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I have come over to Yorkes with Madham02 for a couple of nights staying in Wool Bay and today was our full day so we headed off for a drive with the sun shining and no wind or rain. [^] I had made a list of caches I wanted to find and at the end of the day had 21 finds and 2 DNF's. It was a fun day driving around on dirt roads looking at lots of old buildings and ruins.
Some more interesting history and a quick find in the second place we looked.
Thanks for the cache earthlight, The X-Trailers.

We have a small team travelling to The Yorke Peninsula from Canberra. It was decided by the group before we left that our team name would be DTY, although I act like the boss, I rarely am and so the initials actually stand for - dty73, Tankengine & Youban.
Today was the last day on the Peninsula before we head hone tomorrow. So the team decided that it was a “tourist day” and we would go have a look down the coast a bit. But of course like true geocachers we couldn’t help taking a caching route as we went. We ended up getting a lot more than we expected, but we did have a good time.
Nice little park and grab. Tftc earthlight and The X-Trailers!!!

Found with dty73 and youban on our Yorke Peninsula invasion! All logs signed DTY (dty73/Tankengine/youban). - Had a great day today, in that we didn't do any of the power trails! That was a very nice change! So a nice variety and some very nice locations! Thanks!
As this is a generic log comments relevant to this cache will be placed at the end. On a caching trip with Dty73 & Tankengine to Yorke Peninsula. Team signed as DTY. Thank you all the cache owners who have put so much effort in placing and maintaining these caches. Our last day on the peninsula so we decided that we would explore the area around Edithburgh. The weather had turned chilly and the odd spit of rain came and went. Quick find. Kutgw
Our last day in Edithburgh, but we have been waiting for the promised sunny day of light wind so we can head north along the coast. Some great scenery and caching is hopefully in store.
Sorry-the logs are starting to get a bit repetitious but we are having a great time, walking in the sun and the breeze, collecting caches as we go, enjoying the scenery and appreciating the caches. It’s nice that the hides are not too onerous, but just subtle enuf to make us work for a few of them. Others we have found pretty quickly. Life’s always more interesting if things don’t come too easy!
We have been really enjoying your historical memories and reminiscing. We might say you should write a book, but then again we have a living tour with commentary.
Well done.
A favourite for all of this from us!

Team SWAGJJ is visiting the Yorke Peninsula this week to complete the geo art and collect traditionals, multis and other types along the way back to Adelaide as well. Seeing some amazing country side and views as well. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches.
Yorke Peninsula Day 3: A small break for power trails (after a quick 60 caches from the fishing line...). Then we collected caches around the Yorketown and Edithburgh area and in the Innes National Park. Some spectacular scenery to take in, strong winds to battle on top of cliffs, and another exhausting day. Signed as SWAG-JJ. TFTC!

Australia Day long weekend and we have travelled to Stansbury to celebrate our 5th Anniversary of Caching. Out early today to beat the heat and get back to town for the Geo Event. Had a quick look around the monthly Market that was on in town and then headed off caching. Spied this as we approched GZ...sneaky TFTC
Today we explored Yorketown and then travelled to the southern end of Wool Bay and through to Coobowie and finished at Edithburgh using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way with Roostaman and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Up bright and early for the June Long Weekend hiding day.
The GOTHs (me, mogni and Alternika) had a great day hiding our temporary caches, attending a flash mob and finding a few caches. Somehow we nicked a tyre which was slowly going flat. A quick trip to a servo where we pumped it up enough to get back to our digs, changed to the spare and arranged to have it fixed the next morning. All this cut into our caching time and so we got ready for the nighttime dinner event and set off early to try and find some of the caches we should have already found that afternoon.
We had noticed the flat about here so we returned to get this one first. [^]
The GOTHs are back in town.
Actually this is the first time we have been here as the GOTHS. A quick find in the place we predicted when we stopped and the GOTHs stamp is now in the log book. Thanks earthlight and The X-Trailers. Go Girls! [:O)]
