wow, hides like this is what made me fall in love with geocaching! this is right up there with one of my all time favourites, Lowlands Spectacular. easy find and worthwhile hike. love the small rockpools here too - time to explore! after parking at Sinker Bay and checking the description and waypoints, I realised that you can use the start of the Ocean Wilderness Walk instead of the COs recommended trailhead 100m up. i simply used the map, then kept to the left at each main fork until i was at GZ. photo included in case anyone else wants to try this. tftc!
Beautiful spot, dangerous but beautiful. Tricky track to find but easy walk once found. Stunning!
Found during my one-month adventure in Australia. In the process of logging my finds months later, my goal is to log my 50+ outstanding logs before the end of the year!
Got halfway there and gave up. Overgrown, very soft sand and a snake sighting. Advice to others - don't bother in summer!
WOW!! What a great spot found the cache signed the log then climbed on a big rock and just sat and watched the big swells crash in, was fantastic took lots of photos thank you Albany Canucks for the experience.
Thanks Albany Canucks for this great cache. A beautifully rugged spot to soothe the soul. Cache is in good condition
pug002 found it 3/2/22, after three DNF's decided we had to find something, found the spot to park and started up the sandy trail after a few minutes I said i can't make this, so geo hubby said he would do it. He came back totally exhausted, he said the first part was the worst, but too sandy for me. Well off to the Alpaca farm. TFTC Albany Canucks
Yahoo it’s school holidays and this is our first holiday cache. We’re also treated to seeing whales splashing offshore! Amazing! Thanks for leading us here!
What a great location with great view too. Thank you Albany Canucks, this brings our total cache count to 14!
Down from Perth and decided to claim a few in Denmark. This was a great walk and took me to somewhere I would never have visited. Got smashed with wind and rain, but found what I was looking for. TFTC.
Walked out with MDV late this afternoon. There was one other lady taking photos here too. Signed the new log in the replacement 200ml sistema. Thanks.
The first climb in the sand was a bit challenging, but the views and the spectacular show the crashing waves presented was well worth all the effort! TFTH
Parked up and enjoyed the walk post the first 200mt up the soft sand. Cache as mentioned prior needed to be replaced so a spare container was placed to help with maintenance. A great location and worthy of a Fav point. Sitting in the clear water below I’m sure would be amazing!!
Changed Over the cracked container.
We came out here to place a few caches and replace one of our own. Tough going for the first few hundred meters in the sand but then it hardened up and was a quick find here.
Cache will be good to go for a few years to come.

Found after an epic trek up the 200m sand track in the summer heat with added flies... eventually reach the GZ where Papa Detour made a quick find. With the only casualty a Teva sandal that lost its sole, we made it back to the car park after filling the log sheet and recording our visit with a photo or two of the spectacular coastal scenery. TFTC
Even the earlier drizzle and the grey skies couldn't detract from the natural beauty of this amazing place. Thanks Albany Canucks for bringing us here with richlink this evening.
After meeting up with iluvtrekking in the late afternoon, the boys were instructed to 'take a walk' and this was the cache long been on our' to do list'. The drizzle had cleared and a great walk to gz although the initial few 100 mts were a challenging climb. Great views and nice wide walking track all the way to gz. Thanks Albany Canucks
It is amazing where caching takes you..wild and windy day with waves crashing in majestically...no whales but a great morning and place for a ramble..cache and log in good condition..tftc
After not caching for many years this was our second find getting back into exploring- well bugger me if this didnt nearly kill us!! what a location though spectacular. TFTC
We were in the area for a few days and I decided to head out here with the mountain bike [^]. What a cool place for a geocache . Thanks for bringing me here
A nice hide here and thankfully we had no trouble adding our name to the log book. TFTC .
Albany Canucks - jinta29 found your cache Marbles Alley (at Wilson Head) on 26/09/2016, 9:42 AM. This is my find #5817 and find #2 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Yow !! You were not kidding about the sandy climb at the start of this cache chase
Iron Men ( and Women) and Triathletes train on hills like this !! [:o]
And here was me …
… a mere geocacher taking on the same sort a terrain !!
Hey !! I feel fitter already !!
The rest of the walk was rather relaxed and not taxing on the ticker at all [^]
At the end of the trail, a cache was soon rounded up.
But I couldn't leave just yet.
The pounding waves against the rocks here was mesmerizing !!
The way the waves bounce back and bump into each other,
the rhythmic flow of the crests and troughs,
before each wave finally expended its last bit of energy in a spectacular fountain of spray was incredible
Chaos theory in action [^]
After half an hour I snapped out of me trance and headed back to the geomobile
TFTC.
Definitely one of me favouritest spots along this bit of the coast !!

I should have readvthe terrain rating. Oh well, great place for a cache, glad I grabbed this one. Tftc.
What a hike! The uphill bit at the start was horrid! But, the rest of the walk was pretty good. We had great weather with a nice breeze, so it was enjoyable, even GZ was found by Mr KDT as he is the adventurer out of us. The view is awesome. A lovely clear pool below and some quite spectacular spray over the rocks. TFTC and the trip out to such a wonderfully isolated spot
Out with MissSeeker86 on Saturday this cache was definitely worth the walk! Took some photos of the waves crashing into the rocks! TFTC!
Found with Big09. This cache was worth the trek. We remained a little skeptical about the estimation of a 15min walk when we saw the never ending hill, but sure enough, the Albany Canucks were right. What a beautiful little spot!! We were lucky enough to see some pretty impressive waves come through and we stood for awhile admiring the strength and raw beauty of the ocean.
Thanks Albany Canucks for this cache, (despite the sand hill ☺)

Found about a week ago, forgot to log! Scaled the rocks all the way around from Sinker Bay. Not advise able but lots of fun! TFTC!
Had a spare half hour so thought why not! Found it easily, but the trek there was a bit of a mission through soft sand and hilly terrain. It was all worth the effort though TFTC
Came down from Mandurah to Albany this morning. Barely had a chance to catch my breath before my host asked if I was up to a bit of caching - there was a particular hide up a nearby mountain that he wanted to conquer. So westwards we came, despite the drizzling rain. No such thing as bad weather for caching, or so they say, just badly prepared cachers. We were pretty well prepared though. Couldn't not come out and try for this one whilst in the area. That sure is one very steep and sandy hill at the start of the trek - had me huffing and puffing by the time I got to the top. The Southern Ocean was demonstrating her power as she hit the rocks near gz - awesome!! Thanks for the smiley Albany Canucks
What a walk, check photos before setting off. Once you get through the first bit you will be fine!
Thanks for taking us to this great spot, we would have not gone here if it wasn't for geocaching
The burn in my legs was soon forgotten when the ocean peeked over the hill. Thanks for a memorable cache!
This exact view is what made me decide to move to Denmark 20 years ago. Thanks Albany Canuks.
Beautiful location! Was a hard, hot track through sand though. We had experienced geocaching kids with us and was a good hour return trip.
Great bush walk on a nice cool day. The first sand hill was a bit of a challenge, and that thought of....we must have to go down again somewhere, became a reality when we spotted the coast. Good thing was though, you can take a flying leap back down the sand hill on your return journey and hopefully land on both feet at the bottom. Seriously though, we really enjoyed our walk to the Alley. The view and the vastness of the Southern Ocean is always truly magical and awe inspiring. Finding the cache was the easy bit, then after enjoying the view, upwards and onwards back up the track. TFTC and bringing us to this great spot.
A great bit of coastline to be found at the end of this track! Like others I was greeted by the resident snake on the track but luckily Ralph was on a tight lead and the snake obligingly slithered off as we approached.
Awesome spot Canucks and thanks for showing it to us. Grabbed GC to move on

Well what a beautiful spot. Worth the walk. Spent a long time sitting here pondering life, the universe and everything... It's still 42.
Took the path tag but left a cool geocookie
Oh and a favourite point coming your way. TFTC JELSH

We felt like we might have lost all our marbles when we were underway to this one. We started out in light and occasional showers which got insistent and then over the dunes became windblown downpour. Its hard to work in this terrain with your face covered in rain jacket and the grayness settled all around you. But we did find it. Thankfully we didn't have to go too far down to the rocks, which would have been dangerously slippery today. Great place to visit and maybe next time I will have conditions to stay and take photos. thanks for an adventure, every weekend should have 'em.
This was a great walk of approx 1km each way. Allow 40 mins - 1 hr for a fit walker and be prepared to tackle a very steep hill at either end. I was lucky to find the track freshly slashed and the fragrance of Tea Tree on a morning of misty drizzle made for a very pleasurable find.
Tackled this cache with Mr Happy Jacks 55 today. The walk in and out was great for exercise and the scenery at the cache worth the trip. Easy find when we got there. TFTC
Only half read the notes and headed abruptly downhill to try rock hopping. Took the seat of my pants out on the way down. After 10 mins of rock hopping and gaining only meters towards the cache it was time to sit down and read them properly. Back at the car a snake slithers across the road. Park at the trail head only to see another snake slither across the track.
Still not enough to put me off, until I saw the gradient of the sandy track. Took it step by step. Hundreds later I felt the rise ease off and even go down. Every step was worth it as the views are great and rock formations interesting. Next time I will take this track in the early hours of the morning and not midday on one of the first warm/hot days of the season.
TFTwalk. No need for more exercise today.

We checked ourselves into the Ocean Beach caravan park the ventured down this road to admire the magnificent views - and of course to seek out the couple of caches down here.
Mugglehubby with a dicky knee was very dubious about making the journey, but after a bit of persuasion we both set off. However obviously our fitness isn't a patch on the COs as it took us half an hour to make it to GZ. A snake slithered across my path when about half way! However the journey was well worth it when we reached it as the scenery was wonderful. Stayed some time watching the waves crashing with resultant huge spray patterns, and then made our way back to the car again - this time only 20 mins though.
Left 2 of my pathtags for the next 2 finders.
Thanks for showing us this fantastic coastal scenery and for the cache Albany Canucks.

Yah! A FTF needed to be in Denmark for a junior cricket game in the morning and after lunch we went to see if this cache had been found. When we got to the place to park our car, we were a little disappointed as there was another car parked there. Oh Well! let's just have a look. Not long after we headed up the path we met a lone gentleman walking back carrying a heavy bag, and a fishing rod. He had been fishing (and had several gropers in his bag that he was dragging along the ground as it was so heavy and the walk had been a decent one). Our hopes for a FTF were lifted and indeed when we arrived at GZ were logged a FTF.
A great little walk and the view is something to see. Just magnificent! I even mentioned it would be a great place to view the whales when they are passing.
Anyway a great walk and thanks Albany Canucks for a great cache.

We've enjoyed finding more than 600 geocaches since we started three years ago in mid-2010. A big `thank you' to everyone whose caches we had fun finding! We figured that it's time to give back to the geocaching community, by placing some caches at some of our favourite scenic spots in and around the Albany area, to help other geocachers discover some of the sparkling jewels of the rainbow coast.
Enjoy, and please share some of your thoughts about this short hike, the views, and the coastline, when logging your find here online!

Don't know when I will be coming down that way, but this is one that I definitely want to visit. Thanks Albany Canucks
