Been a while since Cravo10 and I have ventured out to cache the burbs of Perth, with us both having a rare free day between moving houses, building walls, setting up retic and general stuff around each other's houses we decided to have a couple of hours to cache around the city of Stirling.
We cleaned up a good number of RossInPerth hides, which was a welcome change as we've had some difficulty with his over the years.
There was a great variety of caches around today. Some big, some small, some camoed, a few nano (love them)
Ended up with thirty odd finds and a number of great pics from where we started in Stirling and where we ended up in Claremont.
Ended on a little sour note with Me copping a 200 dollar find for speeding a little bit in the back roads of Claremont, much to the my annoyance as I wasn't speeding when I went past them going the other way, just forgot they were there.
Thanks for a great day out to the local COs.

Out this way again today to try to finish this neck of the woods. Used the spoiler photo but still came up empty and began to wonder about what the hint meant. Decided to move on an on the spur of the moment decided to check the other side of the track in a place matching the hint and there it was. Go figure. Tftc. So glad to get it.
Think i should have read back a bit to get a few hints here. Wasnt taking geopooch into long grass as that is where gps wanted us to go. Armed with a bit more info, will return soon to have another go. Tftc.
Thanks for the hide. Nice to be in Perth and get a few finds after a quiet month.
Had trouble with others today because it was so wet. Glad to find this hand love the cache!
Wahhhhhhhoooooooo did it
Exploring the north and east sides of Herdsman today, with the goal of getting to my 100 finds.
A beautiful area, such an array of wildlife. Snakes were a concern but found the giant spider webs were a bigger threat
This is #100 for me!!!!!!!!!!!!
This took quite a while but perseverance paid off

Again I have to say this was found by Col117, in a place I had looked . TFTC
I thought since today was quite cool I would walk around Herdsmen Lake and tackle all of the caches, so out of 28 I managed 23 finds 5 dnf these ones I had a quick look, but after seeing a Tiger snake sunning its self I decided that the long grass is not for me today. So back to this cache, found a friend hiding, so signed log and put him back in the same place TFTC Hiddo
I am in Perth to participate in the 2016 World Master Athletics Championships all the way from South Africa and today was our day off and the next event will only be on Monday that will give me the opportunity to do a bit of traveling and caching.

Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! We are currently on the first leg of our journey, which started with our arrival at Perth airport. Yesterday we spent the day cycling around Rottnest Island and tomorrow we travel on to Adelaide where we will meet up with our friends and then continue on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island. We then travel slowly towards Melbourne, via Goolwa, Coorong, Mount Grambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. From Melbourne we head to Tasmania for a few days, then back to Melbourne before setting off to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. After a visit to Sydney we will travel on to the Gold Coast, then after spending a few days in the nearby mountainous birding hotspots, followed by an overnight trip to Fraser Island, we will fly from Brisbane to Cairns, visiting yet more good birding sites. We will then drive up to Cape Tribulation before heading back south again to Port Douglas and a day out on the Great Barrier Reef. We then return to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs, where we will hire a 4x4 camper and set off for a week on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
The cache wasn't where we expected to find it. A well hidden cache that wasn't in the most obvious of forks! Thanks for the cache - we liked the nearby red fungi.

Got it. \/.
Out and about in Ozzie Park this arvo. After exhausting geokid at the park, I dragged her along on her scooter to get me some finds. Took a little while to find it, as the trees were bouncing the GPS signal around.

Took the whole clan for a ride around the lake. In hind sight it may have been too far for the 3 year old. My second attempt at this one. Found him lying on the ground so put him back. Tftc.
Took a whle it did. Looking in tree forks we were.
Another cunning Hiddo special. Thanks Hiddo.

Great hiding spot! I made a brief detour on my way home from work to search for this cache, a bit worried about the last 2 DNFs. It took me a good 10 minutes to spot the well-hidden container, and it was not at all what I expected... Thank you for the cache Hiddo.
Today Philippluca and me went to circle the other half of Herdsman Lake and find the caches that rest there. Many caches could be found and we only had to claim 4 DNF's so it was a really nice day with a super landscape. Thanks a lot.
Found Yoda in his house. thanks.

Hope we found the right thing here. It didn't contain a log (but it did have a Hiddo-style pencil stub) so we added a small sheet of rite-in-the-rain paper and put it inside a little ziplock bag and then into the cache. It didn't really fit the description so we put it back in a fork. TFTC!
19th for today after heading from the nearby meet and greet to a tour around the lake.
Would need a service though. Not sure how long it will last in its current spot...

In Perth on Holidays. Decided we would spend the afternoon caching around Lake Herdsman. .
Well for me this was cache of the day. Simple camo but very sneaky when replaced correctly. Took a few minutes to find the right fork. Thanks Hiddo, a fav point from me.

Lovely morning walk. Beware of the snakes. We saw 2 on our treks. Cute series! Tftc
Out on a nice walk. Found on ground in open so replaced as best we could. Tftc!
Double trouble at this cache as we found an old baby glass bottle and the actual cache. Cheers
Elrin asked what yoda looked like last time I saw him, because we did find a little glass bottle with the cork pushed in? We figured that couldn't be the cache though as there was no log. After looking at the images for the cache we found the hiding spot and came up with a cache and character, but it wasn't yoda!
A nice quick find here although I seemed to have found a different character and I could see no sign of the objects previously mentioned in logs
Hiddo - jinta29 found your cache Yoda on 28/08/2015 8:09 am. This is my find #3645 and find #13 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!
