OzHockeyChick, Geoturtle37 and I stayed at Drysdale last night after spending most of the day chasing caches. Today we are hoping to find some more before heading home. Hoping that the weather is kind to us. Another nice quick find. Thanks for placing the cache for us all to enjoy.
In town for a non-geocaching event, I took the opportunity to make a weekend of it, and find some caches in the area. Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 joined in with the fun. Despite the rather high winds, we got the e-scooters out to attempt a few caches along the rail trail. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Alansee ~~
Last full day of my trip. Only doing half a day as got some other things I need to do.
Always great to change a sad face into a smiley face and not sure how I missed this one last time haha
Out and about on the Bellarine on a beautiful sunny day after the Geelong CITO. Another quick find here. Many thanks to cloudglider and Alansee for the cache.
Beautiful day for a walk, been inspired to go bike riding! Nice, easy and fun find! Thank you

Lovely day for a walk along the trail and not too many others around.
Love the train pictures. TFTC

Well there is a new challenge souvenir out for this month and my caching buddy Gemma Sistema hit me up to see if we could have a fun day out and find a few caches to help us hopefully reach the target required.
Today was picked and after throwing a dart at the map Geelong was soon picked out and we then picked a place to meet up and here’s to a fun day out.
Time to find a few more along the rail trail and I am slowly ticking these off on each visit.
Maybe I should just bring the bike and scooter next time and I will get a lot more down.
A beautiful day to b out along here and there was quite a few out as well.
Thanks cloudglider & alansee TFTC.

Quick find on a caching day with Posums. Always nice to tick more off on this trail.
Decided to check off a section of the Rail Trail today while the weather was pleasant. Found this one on approach. Tried to place it back with some camouflage. TFTC.
Out for the second day this week along the rail trail. Was able to get dropped off where I ended the other day and picked up further down the line, makes it much easier. Out of the 27 caches I looked for I had 3 DNFs which will all be placed on a watch list for later on. My son joined me for the walk today and there were a lot of other people on the trail.
Found on a Rail Trail return ride from Moolap to a cache 3.5km from Drysdale. This led to 38 caches over 36km or so, I’m very tired but it was well worth it. Nice and quick find! TNLNSL. TFTC!
Nice easy find (possibly too easy… have added extra coverage as it was quite visible from the path). Log a wee bit damp to placed it in a new snap lock bag (for future finders - it’s not really biohazard ) TFTC
Mr H keeps making quick work of his as we are rotating who finds them so someone can stay with our stuff!
Accompanied with silence49, lance51 and DeafVW. We hire the e bike for G2Q Rail trail for the day. We had a great time finding your cache Alansee, thank you so much for placing it.

Day 2 on the rail trail with mazza-g. A cracker of a day to be on the bike as we make our way from Leopold to Drysdale. Beautiful views all around in the nearby paddocks. It’s great to see how much this trail is utilised and even better that we get to come and find caches.
**Thanks to Alansee for placing this cache.**

2nd day of riding and caching along the rail trail with Jascat.. Today the ride was from Leopold to Drysdale. Smelly cache. TFTC
Came along today to celebrate caching as well as Christmas with ilook4geo. Overcast and cooler day which made the searching more pleasant. Many thanks go to cloudglider for putting this cache into play and to alansee for maintaining it. We had a good day.
Shared a caching day with goingplaces2. Found what we were looking for, stamped or initialed each log and replaced as found. TFTC.
Watching Christmas movies isn't my thing so I decided to head out and collect a few smiley faces. I've been slowly working my way along this trail in sections which has been great for the soul. Nice and quick find as the sun is going down thank you
Lots of places it could have been, but good coords made it a quick find.
Our plan this afternoon was to load up the bikes, drive out to the driving range near Curlew Station, and set off back to Geelong to fill in the smilie line by grabbing all the caches back to where we had previously stopped. We figure by travelling in the opposite direction this time we would have the wind at our back as we rode back to the car.
This plan worked so well that when we got back to the driving range car park where we had left the car we continued on to Drysdale and found a lot more caches than we had planned for. A great plan made even better by the extra finds.
We are enjoying ourselves in Geelong so much we have extended our stay for a few more days and are hoping that will give us many more funds. Having survived the wind, rain and cold we are looking forward to better weather as well.
TFTC and a big thank you to all the CO’s who have put out caches along this great rail trail
