Cache appears to have been removed during the course of recent renovations. I will archive to free up the area. Thanks for playing.
Bus shelter has recently been painted so after a quick look decided maybe a cache check by the owner might be a good idea.
This cache appears to have been muggled. I found the container sitting in plain sight with no log inside, so I added a temporary log and hid it out of sight in a more appropriate place.

Wow.... it's been nearly 4 months since this cache was last found.
I was worried heading to this cache as it's a bus stop and people could be lined up.
As I turned the corner the bus stop was deserted, YES!!! It was a quick find, I took the cache to my car parked near the bus stop to complete signing duties. As I was signing the log a muggle came to the bus stop and sat to wait for their bus..... darn.
Instead of sitting and waiting and losing time I decided to do two nearby caches before coming back and hopefully the muggle will have gone.
Sure enough the coast was clear to replace the cache.
T4TC??

Found it with Hedgy77. I scared a girl that was waiting for the bus when I walked around the corner and had to come back later. Took us ages to find but after a while I finally found.
Took ages to find! Searched in every place but there but eventually found it!!!! TFTC

I was in the area today for my step-mother-in-law's 50th (that's the wife of my wife's father for those playing along at home) so grabbed this one before heading to work after the party. Didn't take too long. Replaced as found. TFTC!

An afternoon picking up some caches in neighbouring North Ryde.
Not many buses in the weekend so I had plenty of time to investigate this vintage bus shelter. After a bit of thinking and feeling I had the cache in hand .
The log roll needs replacement as it is full, and old logs are fading.
Thanks for the cache.

A pretty quick find here. Nice and quiet here when I visited. Early morning caching has its advantages. TFTC
Back in the day we'd call this type of cache a "Haystacker" as trying to find the cache was like trying to find the preverbal "Needle in a haystack".
It's more a test of patience and process of elimination.
Personally, nano's are not my favourite type of cache and I cringe every time I see XS appear. I guess that this is just the state of affairs with setting up caches these days. Don't get me wrong. Not all are XS. But I do wonder that if a little more thought were put into the overall setup that perhaps some may find caching more enjoyable.
It's pretty awesome to go caching with kids and they find a container stuff inside.
Alas, I guess it's just the addictive chase for that little smiley.

A good way to celebrate your wedding anniversary is going for a few geocaches, so we took the train to North Ryde.
We've planned to do a combination of virtual, multi and traditional, but the multi's turned out to be not founds.
This one looked like it would be a not found too, because we found part of the container.
But luckily the rest of it was also found, so we could put our name in the logbook and make the container complete again.
Thanks for this one, our last for today.

It's interesting how quickly urban structures like these become relics. It may be a roadside nano but I think the subject matter is worthy of a quick inspection of a bygone era. Cheers!
Took about 5 mins to find. Much easier to search at night but a bus did come and we hide to hide behind.
The simple "Hard find" qoute was result of a friend stealing my phone as I replaced the cache. Thanks Bailey .-. Anyway, it was a nice challenging find, and I shall return later to sign it. TFTC.
Haven't found yet, planning on returning after lunch. One thing to note is that the place is infested with ants.
I was on my way to an 'Old Warriors" get-together (retired Industrial Arts teachers) and did some caches on the way there and on the way home.
I didn't find this one 12 months ago and came back for another try.
I took the advice of a previous cacher and checked many places. I eventually tried the most obvious place and found I could have saved myself some time.

Second try at this one with no find. Kept watch for "bus over the hill" and then had to move on as a bus passenger wanted to wait for a ...bus! So where did ye hide it? In the tin roof bumps? or down low. Could I have another clue or phone a friend? Even the geobike was getting unhappy until the next nearby find.
Tried to find in the dark using the phone for light to no avail. Time to read the logs! and retry perhaps tomorrow late arvo.
left some rubbish at Kimbriki this morning and decided to do a few caches. We had no luck with this one today, found lots of spider webs but no cache. Will be back!
My first geocache at night! Cache replaced, forgot pen, great hide was looking at everything that was metal!
After an hour total of searching and a confused bus driver and muggle, finally had a brain snap and found it. Thanks to the last person who screwed it a little too tight it is now having some maintenance performed. The log has been trimmed to make it easier for the next person to get out. Will return to GZ in the morning to return. Hope no one goes caching tonight. Thanks Jords for an excellent hide and a long time searching.
PLEASE DON'T SCREW CACHE TOO TIGHT!!! Thank you.

Found in a slightly different place for this kind of hide. I definitely made it more difficult than it was. Should have looked at the terrain rating 1st.

After the visit from the shopping centre I have done a caching tour. This was my 5th found today.
Here I had to seek a while but luckily I have found it.

Quick find at a bus stop that i doubt any busses will stop at soon.
Thanks for the cache.

Found this cache with lots of trouble,
Looked all around and saw no muggles.
I couldn't seem to find a thing,
until my brain began to ring.
Look up and down and left and right,
Be careful of spiders,
You'll get a fright.

Took longer than expected but perseverance was key. Eventually the geobf found it through hilarious means. If the neighbours were looking, they'd have been quite confused haha. TFTC!
After "Greens Bush", had a try here and spied the container rather quickly. Had the pen this time, used a pin to remove the log as it was wedged in tight. Returned with a better fitted log, thanks JordsAU
Second time here and I failed again! Tiny magnetic nanocaches and large metallic structures are definitely NOT my specialty.
Nahh, this one just eluded me. I looked hard. basically everywhere except inside the beams running across the top. I stopped checking inside the beams after I found a chip packet, some plastic bag, a scrunched up piece of paper and then something that I think moved when my finger touched it. nope nope nope. Abort mission! I couldn't find it. I'll be back!
Found the cache quickly tonight but the log was stuck tight so I couldn't sign it. I even had tweezers in the car, but they didn't help. I think it might be too humid at the moment. TFTC.
thatkid_ and I spent ages looking all over the bus shelter for the cache.
Man, I hate magnetic nanos.

Hate the little rolls. Good place to sit. If you like catching buses, do this by bus. Tftc
I was distracted by some muggles and spent time at the wrong place. After a thorough search, I took a look at my GPS and realized I was supposed to be across the street. Talk about being distracted! Now I took my search across the street and began a new search. Fifteen minutes there produced nothing . Enjoyed the search.
Got here on dark and had to abandon the search as it got too dark. Will be back when in the area next
After reading some of the previous logs we were a bit apprehensive about this one. However we must have been lucky because we soon had the cache in hand and the log signed. TFTC.
This had defeated me three times before. I was walking between Dostoevsky's Dice and Blenheim Park and this would take me almost past the end of this street. So with very low expectations I thought I ought to take another look, and there it was, in plain sight (if you position yourself oddly) in a place I looked all three of the previous visits. Took longer to extract the very tight log than it did to find and replace the cache. SL TFTC
This one was the hardest of the day. It took two phone-a-friends and around twenty-five minutes.

I had to come to North Ryde for work from Canberra. I had planned to get Lane Cove as my daily however work suggested otherwise. During my lunch break, I jumped in the car and raced over to grab this one. Unfortunately the log was overflowing. The owner will need to do a replacement on this one when possible.
Thanks for the quick pick up JordsAU

Logbook is full, squeezed myself in number 32. But there is no further space left...
Very tricky angle you've got going there!
Another successful bus stop type find after about 10 minutes.
Thanks for the cache!

Had a bit of time between clients so did a few in the area.
2 mums chatting right opposite the bus shelter - 1 on the road and 1 in the car - neither of them seemed to take much notice of a guy in business clothes, parking nearby, and scouring the bus shelter.
Thanks for the hide Jords.

After a DNF 6 weeks ago I look at this bus stop every time I drive past hoping to see someone hunting here so I could join them but its always empty.
Returned today after 2 successes nearby. I was determined to find it and had a search plan but it only took about a minute and I could see it, didn't even have to feel for it. I don't know how I didn't see that last time.
A successful morning, 3 out of 3.

This late afternoon I came here after I found a cache nearby then I started looking around high and low but I didnt find it as it took me looked around for a long while then I gave it up and I texted ALL7 and asked for her help which she did tell me where the cache was but she wasn't sure if it was correct GZ so I tried to look around high and low again but this is unfortunately one for me also I feels like exposed because the muggles was driving past alots also muggles walked past me too which I am not comfortable so I will come back here soon.
Found at 4:20pm with Nush89. As soon as we rocked up to GZ it seemed that there could be many possibilities of the caches' resting spot. We searched high and low, and mid for that matter, and we came up with the chocolates after a five minute search. Enjoyed reading about the history and enjoyed the hunt. SL TFTC JordsAU

Realised I'd driven past this cache on the way to 3rd Australian Ordnance Army Vehicle Park. Backtracked to pick it up.
Parked nearby & walked to GZ. Found it in the first place I checked. Nice to have a really quick find.
Completed signing duties with not a muggle in sight.
Just replaced the cache and heard a muggle walk past and into her house. Luckily she was never in sight of GZ.

Eventually found the little blighter, god I hate nano's!! In Sydney visiting relatives, and had my cousin to help me find this one. After a 20min search, when we were about to head back, I finally had the right angle and saw it in a discrete spot I hadn't searched before.
Thanks for the cache JordsAU.

ALL7 and I decided to do some late afternoon and night time caching. Headed down the dreaded thin black line to Sydney planning to troll through Ryde, Concord, Five Dock to try our luck. Have read about Edmondson and his Bren Gun Carrier at Tobruk. As usual another great cache. TFTC
Jfindit and I decided to do some late afternoon and night time caching and more fun.. Lovely cool weather.. hide well.. thank
Got this one which was visible if you held your head just the right way. Got lucky with no muggles in sight. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
After a previous DNF followed by a kind hint from the CO which narrowed down my search area, I thought I would do a quick park and grab. Yeah right! Another 20 minutes later after being in a tin shed at 40 degrees heat, I finally found it in a place I must have looked 10 times before. Obviously this cache has the ability to morph into invisibility, then materialise at will! Well done JordsAU.
Unfortunately couldn't find this one today, and I suspect I was overlooking a few hiding places during my search. I'll be back. Tftc
Had a chance for a pretty thorough search, but failed. Second of three JordsAU DNFs in a day. Nice day for a walk, bad day for GC finds.
After picking up “Bundara Reserve” I walked back past my car in Blenheim Park and up the hill to attempt this one. A bit of systematic searching based on the terrain rating eventually uncovered the little chap. Thanks again JordsAU.
Searched everywhere but this must be an amazing hide. Will watch the logs with interest. Obviously bus stops and me don't mix well.
Bus stops have certainly evolved along the years, back in the day some of them were just a short yellow painted wooden pole stuck in the ground. These days they are mostly sponsored by advertising resulting in better upkeep. But you are forced to read the message that comes with it.
When I first came here I enjoyed Batrak's hint, but it didn't result in a find. I got some information which got me in the right vicinity and dropped by again with the geodog, but DNF'd again. But I travel past here very regularly so multiple attempts were never going to be an issue. A chance encounter the other day resulted in yet more info and got me over the line.

Arrived and found someone waiting for a bus so then did another recent cache nearby. On return the Stop was empty so we parked on the other side of the road and walked across to begin searching. Around and about and up and down we looked before finally making the discovery.
But we couldn't extract the log! As Jono_9 and I sat and tried we recognised a voice. This is familiar territory so we took a short walk and found someone we knew helping a neighbour with Christmas lights. We borrowed some tweezers and soon had the log for signing.
Thanks JordsAu.

All quiet here on a Saturday afternoon so I could search in peace. A lot of dirty holes there and I was getting nowhere strictly following the terrain 1 rating so I did a PAF and got the hide a few moments later. A pretty versatile 1 but probably correct. I had trouble getting the log back in but managed it in the end.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Not a very successful morning with 2 DNFs.
Checked everywhere I could think of but no luck.
Even saw a bus.
Looks like this area is big on Chrissy lights with all the wires on nearby houses and gardens.

DNF'd last weekend. Came with fresh information but even that didn't get me over the line here.
DNFed this (but didn't log it since we found it only a couple hours later) this cache earlier this afternoon and PAFed B@W for help. They gave us a hint and when we revisited it was an instant find. We'd searched for so long earlier but just hadn't checked the right spot. Sometimes you're just in the wrong mind frame and are convinced it's a certain type of hide. Thanks JordsAU.
Spent 10mins or feeling my way all over this shelter. Clearly I din't feel *all* over it because I came away empty handed. Oh well, it's close to home - I'll return.

Finally completing the nearby park cache, I opted for this one next. Drove over and parked and lucky no one was waiting for a bus. I scoured the place 3 times, before finally finding the cache in a nifty little spot. SL and replaced. Good one JAU, TFTC.

Did my regular Sunday afternoon drivearound for caches, 90 mins of fun and frustration.
First stop was in the Garden of Eden. I read a history of the House of David a few years ago by the local paper's historian. Interesting story that goes back a long way. The House of Corporations has replaced it now. I walked the bridge twice before stumbling upon the cache. Thanks for the hint and TFTC JordsAU
I then drove over to 2113140 on Edmondson St. Spent too long (about 10 minutes) feeling in places that could have housed any old nasty critter. So I have to log a DNF here.
Not far away was the Dress Circle Estate Electric Railway. Jumped the creek and jumped back and found GZ where I was not going to stick my hand. I got out my TOTT and spotted the cache. Still not going to stick my hand in there. Fortunately there was a better way to get the cache. Nice to find something a bit bigger! TFTC JordsAU
I then got some petrol and reckoned I had just enough time to fit one more cache in, so I drove over to Princes St Views. Parked next to GZ and made sure I pulled up the handbrake firmly and that the gearstick was in the parking position! That is one heck of a dip down there. There was only one real option to search and sure enough the cache was there. Great view, photo attached. TFTC Goughy2012

We grabbed this one before the rains came for our find of the day. We had to wait for some muggles to pass and then a quick search and we put our hand on it. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
I visited but could not search as it was occupied by some youngsters, who did not take the bus when it came. I'll be back; its close to home.
